I'm an Italian - American living in New York State who's been a HUGE Selena fan for going on 23 years, and sometimes I tear up just THINKING about her. So, I feel you.
@@pizza6572 Well, Italian - American, actually. But, Selena does, indeed, have many fans around the world. I've read comments from fans in Poland, England and Australia, to name a few places, which proves that music is "the international language". Everyone loves and can relate to great music. And, of course, there's the beautiful person Selena was, in general. I've always believed that that's a big part of why she was, and remains, so loved by so many. She had such a sweet, genuine nature, despite how famous she became. In her case - unlike many famous people - fame only seemed to enhance Selena's natural kindness and compassion, and she did a lot of good for people through it. That's part of the reason why I've been such a huge fan for so long. For me, it's not just about who Selena was as an artist. She was one of the finest people who ever lived, in general, and truly cared about others, not just the money / applause, and was incredibly humble - none of that "Do you know who I am"? type of attitude with HER. Selena's music and class spoke FOR her.
I remember as a kid getting the CD & tape of "Dreaming of you" I would play it every day lol 25 yrs Later, Selena more popular than ever & will live forever..
You can't erase the love of her life and he deserves to be known for his part in all of it. To me she is and always will be the most beautiful, smart, funny, and exciting person to ever be with and I would do anything to have her here talking to me and get the opportunity to watch her live ESPECIALLY in the famous red or purple outfit, she steals my heart away every time I see those performances. Such elegant and unrivaled beauty. Her smile is my ultimate favorite thing about her besides her singing and on stage performance skills. A natural. God bless you Selena, I hope to meet you when I get to heaven! That's one thing I look forward too for sure! Sleep in eternal happiness and joy bonita...

Anyone else get pissed tf off when they think about how much more she had to give and how much of her life was robbed? Screw the music and the industry because I don't care if she never makes music again even though I love it so much. I just want her to be here and live her life because that's what gets me more sad than anything else. Her not being able to raise a family and have all those amazing experiences. Just sad and it makes me want to cry.
Chris is a class act! After all that has been said and done he’s always took the high road! How lucky Selena was to have had Chris as her one true love!!!!!!!
This was a great interview that turned me on to a song I hadn’t yet heard by Selena. Chris will always be her supporter. It does seem as though she left him with so much of her energy and spirit.❤️💜👏🏽👍🏼
Selena was the REAL DEAL. She had a combination of talent, class and charisma that was, and will always remain, incomparable, and carried herself with the humility and grace of a true artist at all times. She introduced the rest of the country, and the rest of the world, to an amazing genre of music so many had not heard of untill then, is the only female musical artist in history to ever have 5 albums on the charts simultaneously, first Tejano artist to have an album attain "gold" status, first Tejano artist to win a Grammy, and the first Latin artist to ever debut at number 1, among other things. She has stars on 3 different walks of fame - 2 in Texas, and 1 in Hollywood, and has been inducted into 4 music halls of fame - ( Tejano, Texas Musicians', International Latin, and Texas Womens' ). Her Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony was attended by more people than any other, EVER, and she was given an evening ceremony, which is very rare, and considered a big honor in itself. The last person who was given an evening ceremony was a former member of The Beatles, so that says a lot about how loved and respected Selena is. She truly epitomizes the meaning of the word "legend", and will live on in the hearts and minds of millions around the world forever.
It’s like i can feel the love Chris had when he talks about her the way he has adoration to this day for her. To be honest i don’t feel that same thing when Selenas sister and dad talk about her you can even feel the greed the way they speak of her.

Her english album reminds me of the summer i fell in love with the man of my dreams who then become my husband...25 years later, 2 amazing little boys- we are still in love and growing strong. I admire him for his strength because I know first hand that it is NOT an easy adjustment to live with.
@Geneva K yeah you can just tell Selena was his soulmate. It's plainly obvious in the way he can recall ever moment with her in vivid detail.Selena left a permanent mark.
That's not being obsessed. That is a man still grieving at the sudden loss of his wife at an extremely young age.
How can you move on if your one great love tragically killed and you aren't even prepared for that??
Not to mention the way her family treats him. He rarely gets to talk about her which helps with the grieving process
Her passing taught me to be careful who you have around you. I love you Selena and family.
Me too
Facts
Really! I told my husband she was a viejita and probably thought she was harmless! Nowadays people are more skeptical because we are more aware of mental illness. I think, I hope! 💔
... the company you keep makes all the difference.. ruined my life last few years.
@@moniqueresendezful Yolanda was actually in her 30’s.
Her smile will always be embedded in my brain. She was special. The world won't forget her. ❤
he represents her so well. love that they featured him, bc if it was anyone who really knew her, it was him, and her mom as well.
Chris has conserve himself so well. He even looks better than he did years ago.
She was amazing!! Loved her in the 90s. Followed her life! She is with GOD!!!
I always looked up to Selena as a little girl ✨👍🏼💐🙂🎥💫
I would LOVE a series from his perspective...he knew her in an intimate way
Who in their right mind would dislike this‼‼‼😡😡
Stupid people
True love! Loved Selena. 🌼🌻🌸🌺🏵️💮🌼🌻🌸🌺💮🏵️🌼🌻🌸🌺💮🏵️
News flash: Just bc someone dislikes the video it doesn't mean they dislike Selena. It could be they didn't like the content or wanted to see more of her family in the video. Countless reasons. I wouldn't waste my time focused on the negative. I just clicked on the video to see the beautiful Selena.
The devil
They weren’t sure how to express their dislike that she has passed away,
If I showed this to my Mexican mom, she would be crying because she loves her so much! My mom to this day still listens to Selena’s songs. I secretly listened to her songs too. I love her so much and cry because she’s not here..... “dreaming of you” is my favorite songs from her. I love Selena. At least she is in a better place..
I'm an Italian - American living in New York State who's been a HUGE Selena fan for going on 23 years, and sometimes I tear up just THINKING about her. So, I feel you.
Lol@secretly. They are classic!
Jessica Ortega right! Blast it my love! That’s how we’ve kept her memory & music alive for so long.
@@rosstrovato9535 oh wow !! Italian!! Wow Selena has fans worldwide !
This pops up as I'm currently wearing my Selena shirt!😊
Same!!!
I really need to get me one frfr
Sameeee
All these years later, you can tell she still has his heart from the grave. If only she had more time.
Ok, this comment got me tearing up. . . If only Selena got to live her dream of becoming a mother as well 🥺 just heartbreaking 💔
"WOW 25 YEARS LATER & STILL LOVE AND MISS HER " GOD HAS AN ANGEL FOR SURE!!!!💕😊
JW'S don't believe in angels!!
Am I the only one here after the Selena series😊Chris I’m praying for you. He still seems affected all these years later. 😢😢
I remember as a kid getting the CD & tape of "Dreaming of you" I would play it every day lol 25 yrs Later, Selena more popular than ever & will live forever..
Selena is very beautiful and very talented God be with her
You can't erase the love of her life and he deserves to be known for his part in all of it.
What Chris said in the end made me emotional 😢❤ thank you Selena 💝 we love your music still many years later. I know you're smiling from heaven 🙏❤️
I love Selena song Still Dreaming of you that’s my favorite song!
"Dreaming Of You" Will never go unnoticed. Selena is the true definition of a legend. Love 💚 u so.
We love you Chris. Thank you for helping keep her memory alive. Thank you for sharing your precious memories of her with us. As long as I’m alive, I will do my part in keeping her memory alive. Been a fan for about 27 years now. 🥰🥰🥰 rip queen. We love and miss you.
Thanks for being a great fan
Anyone else get pissed tf off when they think about how much more she had to give and how much of her life was robbed? Screw the music and the industry because I don't care if she never makes music again even though I love it so much. I just want her to be here and live her life because that's what gets me more sad than anything else. Her not being able to raise a family and have all those amazing experiences. Just sad and it makes me want to cry.
💯
Of course ..she was ONLY 23 years old.😔🙏🏽
Very true and very sad! I believe she was exploited, it is sad knowing how she didn't experience the normal teenage life 🥺
@@cfrausto2797 besides being a sociopath, she was just INSANELY jealous of her.
The fact that I literally just listened to this last night...
Great comment.Chris & Selena have beautiful spirits🖒
Thanks for being a great fan
Selena (Is ) one of a kind. Someone you can look up to. She was a Queen! Forever !
She looks like the sweetest soul. Anyone that got to meet her is lucky. We love you, Selena
We miss and love you Selena. 💜 always!!! & chris is so sweet, I’ve met him and he so kind!
I was just thinking about her. I miss her music and her kind spirit you saw through her music. 💕 She's always on my replay list.
It’s like i can feel the love Chris had when he talks about her the way he has adoration to this day for her. To be honest i don’t feel that same thing when Selenas sister and dad talk about her you can even feel the greed the way they speak of her.
SELENA IS MY FAVORITE ARTIST MULTIFACETED AND VERY TALENTED!!!!!
We will never forget our Mexican Queen, Selena. My children at age 5 & 6 already know her music. She will live forever through her music🌹
Selena will always be remembered because she was beautiful inside and out. She will live forever ♥.
Awww I feel so bad for Chris, having to lose the love of his life so early 💔. RIP Selena, we’re always dreaming of you 💜.
Ikr and especially Abraham who won’t let him talk about Selena unless he made money of it.
Loved hearing from Chris I can see why she married him. What a class act.
Her family is doing a wonderful job keeping her name alive 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 frfr
Sure they love making money doing that!!!
Her dad is greedy and money hungry.
R.I.P. SELENA, IT WAS GREAT HEARING YOUR VOICE AND BECOMING A HUGE FAN OF YOURS AND YOUR FAMILY. LOVE YOU ALWAYS SELENA, YOUR FRIEND AND FAN JAMES FROM SACRAMENTO, CA
It’s so nice to finally see an interview w Chris! He seems like such a sweet person
I will miss Selena forever!!!
I bought that cd when got that cd . Took me while not cry while listening to dreaming of you
She was wonderful and so talented and beautiful she will never be forgotten💕💕💕💕
Sometimes it's hard to watch videos of Chris speaking about her I can feel his deeply saddened energy you just know he misses her so much
I still and always will adore her...she would have surpassed so many super stars if her precious life was not cut so shortly unfairly. Her english album reminds me of the summer i fell in love with the man of my dreams who then become my husband...25 years later, 2 amazing little boys- we are still in love and growing strong. Every time i hear her songs from that album ( specifically i could fall in love) it brings back the sweetest memories of butterlfies in the stomach, head over heals in love. Rest in heavenly peace sweet angel.
My mom ever since she was 14 years old she loves Selena and my mom even wants the last concert at Selena dude on TV and Selena was going to go to LA to court International and my mom was going to get tickets for the next concert but until then she hear that Selena has died it didn't see the whole United States and Mexico all over the world the whole world was sad put Selena we will remember her from her kindness and her humbleness and her Humanity she cared about everybody she cared about her fans but most importantly for family she represents every single men Mexican man woman child she represents the the people of Mexico and Mexican Americans

Oh Selena.. 💕❤👏 Sorely missed 🌹 🕊 🙏
I love her music ❤️ her legacy will live on through her music
"May God embrace you for eternity Selena" there will never be another like you "RIP"
Wynonna Judd thought Selena was a chef! Not knowing she was a the queen of tejano music so CLASSIC ❤ as i quote never judge a book by it's cover!😊
N Sparrow - Stop jumping to conclusion you were not there.
@@judy9521 You weren't there either! We're all here just giving OUR honest opinions and you didn't have to have been there to know that it's classless to ever try to assume what somebody's profession is without getting conformation. Ppl always want to assume that Hispanic people are the help. Maids, nannies, lawn workers, etc. She was wrong but Selena's good heart laughed it off. It was very inappropriate....
@@dwierwilliams5294 Selena laughed about it, so why should anyone ELSE be mad? Selena wasn't one of those arrogant artists who go around with that "Do you know who I am" type of attitude. She had a sense of humor about things. I read once that she was flying somewhere, and put on an apron, and started asking the other people on the flight if they wanted a drink. Besides, back in the 90's, people didn't go around looking for things to be offended by, like so many do today. I actually think everybody got along better THEN than they do NOW. At least, that's the way it seemed to ME.
Wynonna is used to being around country artists deep country artists she wouldn't know who selena was.
Also if Chris doesn't have any ill will towards Wynonna then give it a rest
its just so hard knowing she isn't here... like she looks so full of life like you know? she was just a great person!

When I perform I still do Selena's spins
She would have been a huge artist and by now a mama . It is so heartbreaking that all that potential was wiped out in few seconds. Rest in peace Selena
I learned of her when the movie came out. She really touched my heart and she still does till this day. She’s a legend.
My 71 year old sister and I. (70) are watching the Netflix series, we have watched movies but this is so real, raw, sweet, and innocent as she was in her life. Painful to this day so many years later.
Selena 😘😘
Selena was wonderful. I discovered her when the movie of her life came out with Jennifer Lopez playing her. I fell in love with her music then and there and bought some of her albums. She was one of the best. The world lost a lot when she was killed. I feel cheated that she is not still going strong today.....but then again....if we keep her music alive, she will be.
Selena was the most down-to-earth artist I have ever seen in my life ❤❤❤
Yes
