I have acne-prone oily skin and discovered that not moisturizing was making it worse. But every moisturizer I tried was giving me closed comedones. It was a nightmare. I discovered this moisturizer, apply it in the evenings, and the problem disappeared! I swear by it. Everyone who tries it loves it, and now my wife uses it more than me! I'm constantly having to order more. I also love their dual repair moisturizer with SPF30, I use it every morning. The difference it makes is amazing and is also the only one I have used that doesn't make me break out.
these doctors and this channel does such an essential work. Thank you. Its really rare to get unsponsored reviews on the internet. Many dermatologists recommended me LaRoche Posay too.
La Roche-Posay is my go-to skincare brand, and I absolutely love it and highly recommend it, especially to anyone with sensitive/problem skin. I’ve used the toleriane line for years. They used to have a couple of creams - Toleriane Daily Soothing moisturizer and the Toleriane Riche moisturizer - and those were really their best moisturizers. They discontinued those creams to make the Double Repair moisturizer. I hate the Double Repair moisturizer. I wanted to like it, but I loathe it. There is more of it, plus it’s cheaper, but it’s a substandard product. It left my skin feeling thirsty and prickly (irritated). Then, I tried to add a bit of foundation, and it balled up. Boo! I was stuck with the bottle, and I don’t like wasting things, so I used the Double Repair on my feet. It didn’t bother my feet. I now use Toleriane Ultra, both the regular and night version, and they are very good. I can recommend the Toleriane Ultra, but I still miss the Toleriane Daily Soothing moisturizer and the Toleriane Riche moisturizer. I absolutely LOVE the La Roche-Posay Hydraphase Intense Hyaluronic Acid Eye Cream, which is really more of an eye gel. It’s fantastic! It is cooling and soothing. My skin is very sensitive, especially around my eyes. I have to be very careful about what I use. Also, I have combination skin. A lot of my skin is dry, then I have the acne prone areas. I’m glad that La Roche-Posay is still producing the Hydraphase eye cream/gel and hasn’t decided to discontinue it. I’ve used their Substiane Eye Cream and their Vitamin C eye cream, as well. Those are good, but I prefer the Hydraphase eye cream. I like to alternate creams. I recently tried the Toleriane Ultra eye cream, and I had an allergic reaction to it. It’s so surprising! I got itchy, red, puffy eyes. I will use the Toleriane Ultra eye cream on my feet, and stick to the good stuff for my eyes.
I would love to see a video about moisturizers and building/protecting the skin barrier! What are the ingredients to look for, what are their properties and what are some of your favorite products?
This eye cream is the first cream that has controlled the eczema on my eye lids in my entire life! It keeps my eyes hydrated all day and doesn’t burn because of the rash.
Yay I’m so glad I got this moisturizer per Dr.Dray’s suggestion. Today’s my first day using it I like that it is lightweight but also quite moisturizing. I have acne-prone/sensitive/combination skin. I’ve also been using the Anthelios 50+ XL Anti-Shine sunscreen for the past week & it has been great too. Make sure to moisturize before applying the sunscreen!
Had the same experience with the Toleriane for eye... had a bad allergy situation and not even the cream that the dermatologist suggested helped... but instead I started using the Toleriane and within days fully solved the issue... love the brand!
Toleriane ultra fluid saved my life. I have very oily and acne prone skin that is super sensitive and easily dehydrated. I can’t use thick creams because they make me break out and gel creams don’t keep enough moisture in my skin. The Toleriane fluid is the perfect in between. I’m at my 3rd bottle. It looks small but last for about 3 months
I have super dry, ultra sensitive, acne prone skin and this line is so amazing for me as well! I used to use CeraVe but the preservative was too harsh on my skin. I genuinely love this stuff and I think it's neat that it helps people with such opposite skin types!
I started using Toleirane products when I was suffering from dermatitis - they were the only ones that my skin could tolerate back then. My scin is less reactive right now and I've switched to more effective scin care, but I still use Toleriane riche from time to time when I want to give my scin a break from something more sophisticated.
I read reviews on like 5 different sites about these products and then several dermatologist reviews prior to purchasing, because I don't like wasting money lol but I love that you guys reviewed this and that you guys are so informative. I have the acne wash, triple repair lotion, AHA body lotion, and the HA B5 Hyaluronic serum, and the foaming wash for oily skin. So far the acne wash is helping with my clogged pores. The salicylic acid in my acne wash leaves my skin tingly and week 1 I'm noticing a difference in my pores. Thanks for posting, enjoyed watching. 🖤
La Roche Posay Toleraine and ivermectin 100% cured my terrible rosacea. I don't know how or why I suddenly developed rosacea, but it came on quickly and it got severe within no time. I had the type with bumps, not much redness and it was essentially covering most of my face. Within four months of using this line (cleanser and moisturizer) in conjunction with ivermectin, I was able to cure my rosacea completely and it has never come back. 😊
Have been using Toleriane cream for 6 years. Absolutely phenomenal, tried changing a few times and always end up reverting back to it. The eye cream less of a fan to be honest. **I LOVE these guys**
Hi guys. Thank you for the upload. I know to be true that acne is a bacterial situation and has nothing to do with creams or oils. If a lot of oils are used on the skin there may be some blocked pores but that is not acne. To get rid of acne Celery juice and Lemon balm tea is amazing. Since learning this in mid 2017 I have not had one pimple not even at that time of the month when the reproductive system is over burdening the immune system. I hope this is helpful to the viewers as clear skin is so confidence boosting. 💕🥰🌟
That is why I like Lira Clinical because they have moved to “airless pumps”. What I find and my clients find is they get all the product out of when using it. Tubes and pumps with the “straw” attached you don’t get all the product out. Tubes there is still product left behind and product gets left in the “straw” of pumps and in the bottle. Speaking of the neck, I always explain to my clients that the neck is equally important as the face because the neck is an extension of the face. When I put it that way they are like “oh, very interesting” and it all makes sense to them in treatment and for procedures why I include the neck. Thank you for the great videos. Would love to meet you guys some day!
Ive recently begin working at a beauty store and this video was really helpful!! I learned a lot of good information I can use to help people find better products for their skin :)
I have recently bought the moisturizer product of this line and so far i am satisfied. I have rosacea and i had to do an extented research for my skincare routine. Believe me not an easy task when you have such sensitive skin and redness. Please make more videos like this. Thank you! They are really really helpful.
Hi I know its a v. old video but I too have rosacea ..recently diagnosed..so can you help me what are your holy grail products for rosacea skin..be it usa ,european or korean or japanese..whichever your skin loves Whats your take on denatured alcohol and fragrance in skincare ??
Airless pumps are awesome! Product stays clean and the function lows use of every single drop. As for jars, bacteria is introduced into the product then transferred to your skin and will result in a breakout.
Doctors can you please do a video on acne prone skin that’s also aging so rich products don’t necessarily work. Say the age 40s skin care that’s effective. Thanks
I tried the La Roche Posay Toleriane Caring Wash and it gave me the worst cystic acne :( I do have mild acne but very rarely get cystic pimples. I was pretty shocked given this line is marketed toward sensitive skin.
@@rabinaadhikari3701 I use vichy for my acne. I live in Canada and winter's are harsh. I also have sensitive skin and in the winter it gets quite dry. Was looking for a hydrating wash for sensitive skin to use every other day to keep my skin from completely over drying during the winter months.
Toleriane ultra saved my skin many years ago when i was having a reaction to everything i use on my face. It calmed my skin and after a while, it went back to normal. oh yeah, i used many bottles of this range and one of them couldn't pump... i think i opened the cap to use it... yikes i didnt know it contains no preservatives!!!

La Roche Posay Touleriane double repair saves my life over and over again. The purifying foaming cleanser and the water spray are my go-to when things go off the rails. The creamy purifying cleanser, though, will strip the paint off a car lol. The duo effleclar (?) is the best spot treatment I’ve ever used. I desperately want to put it on my whole face, but I’m not that brave. I thought I couldn’t use the double touleraine after starting Tazorac because it felt not moisturizing enough. But it actually layers nicely, so I apply it and then a bit more later and it works.

I think we all should avoid fragrance even though we don't have sensitive skin bcos when u use in long term, fragrance can cause irritation. From my exp, I was more than fine using fragrance cream, then when I hit 30+, the same moisturizer doesn't work anymore. I didn't change my routine. Still same. Then I switch to fragrance free drugstore cream. The skin back to normal

Dear Doctors, could you please give us insight about collageen supplement ? Is it really worth ? Does it really work to improve skin texture, to firm the skin, to smooth the skin by removing wrinkles ? Please oh please. In advance thank you so much. 🙏
My skin is extremly allergic to skin products so I've been using Avene for 5 years. I want to switch to another product. Is La-Roche Posay tolerable for allergic skin?
No one is reviewing the toleriane sensitive fluid. Apparently they changed the formula and called it sensitive and people are unhappy. Can you please review. I would love to purchase
Wonder if ur eye irritation mentioned was from wearing a mask a lot. I noticed the more I wore the mask the worse my eye lids got because the moisture was constantly being directed upwards on them. Just a thought...
There is a group of product sold in Australia the Narhex brand which claims they are 'hypoallergenic' however all the products in the line contain a strong rose based perfume. I know people who got caught out as they thought hypoallergenic meant 'fragrance free'...apparently not!
Don’t know if you guys will see this but I think I have combo skin. My face is dry but my t zone looks to produce sebum(I think it’s called) and My nose will even peel when it’s oily. So I guess it’s combo dry?? But I started using the Laroche cleanser from hyram’s video and skin is feeling better. And I also deal with excema on my neck and if my face is too dry I get random excema patches. Plus I have a lot of PIH(dark marks?) and I have sensitive skin. I bought some skin fix for moisturizer. But honestly I don’t know what I’m doing 😭 lol any advice on good products to use to help my moisture barrier and what to use after it’s fixed would be great. 😩... sorry for the rant. Thanks.
Well, I just discovered you boys (that's what I call anyone under 40 these days) and like your presentations thus far. I am so tired of skincare information/advice from people who have lots of opinions about no bona fides. 😒
Hi doc. I hope you will read this message. I have a huge problem on my face and it affects my confidence. I have an acne on cheeks and forehead, it becomes itchy every hour whether it's oily and dry. I have a sensitive skin. Can I ask what's your recommendation? What products should I use to get rid of this acne. I am not confident because of this and I hope you can help me, please?
Thank you for this. I have very sensitive, acne, and oily prone skin. The toleriane line helped control my acne and sensitive skin. As Far as the Toleriane Sun UV SPF 30 still not sure how I feel about it.
@@victoria-xf6qy I still use the Toleriane purifying foaming cleanser. It does have 0-3 irritant but it doesn't cause my acne. I stopped using the moisturizers because those do have alot of irritant and acne ingredients. I just started using Facetheory super moisturizer oil-free so far so good with 0acne 0irritant. I recommend COSDNA website to look up ingredients on face products. I just learned this. Hope this helps 🙏
Can you talk about the LRP moisturiser+sunscreen version of pigmentclar. Is it worth it? And an another question, should we get eyecream in our eyelids or should we just use it under the eyes?
Could. you talk about the ingredients the moisturizers contain and what kind of skin should use it, besides the sensitive? what about is comedogenic, or tendency to combination, etc. etc. Thanks.
You can apply both of these together. However, there were some older studies that showed niacinamide and vitamin C can have issues together. But more recent evidence suggests that they are ok to use together. But of course, try it out, and see how your skin responds - everyone's skin is a little different. TLDR: They're safe to use together!
Poor Dr Maxwell XD being edited like that, funny though. I got the Dermallergo version of this product yesterday, hope it works well for me. I have really sensitive skin and the one around the eyes even more so.

Dear Doctors, could you please give us insight about collageen supplement ? Is it really worth ? Does it really work to improve skin texture, to firm the skin, to smooth the skin by removing wrinkles ? Please oh please. In advance thank you so much. 🙏
Hi, I was curious of your thoughts on La Roche Posay products. Currently using La roche Posay vitamin C and Retinol B3 serums.
so glad i can hear from someone who has similar skin! :)
Dr. Rice is a star and she's going to be featured in more of these videos!
My skin is extremly allergic to skin products so I've been using Avene for 5 years. I want to switch to another product. Is La-Roche Posay tolerable for allergic skin?
The toleraine line is for allergy and sensitive prone skin
Hello, I need help ☺️☺️
I bought Lrp Rosaliac and Cicaplast baume cream.
So my question is when do i use it?
Thansk for answer ☺️
Dr. Maxfield is a stud! And so fascinating how he stares Dr. Shah! lol. Hope he can stare at me that way. I will melt. LOL.
The chemistry!
And thank you Dr. Rice
That was a good article. I’m struggling to find a moisturizer that my skin can tolerate. This line looks good.
Dr Maxfield, you are hilarious!
Dr Shah talks so much and doesn't allow others, but good stuff guys,
Thank you for your very informative videos. Can you please do a video on anti ageing products for a 30 year old with sensitive skin?
Im in the same boat. Just started a .3 retinol and am seeing benefits to my fine lines !
Nice Video! When are you going to review the Retinol with B3 by La Roche-Posay?
Best product ever for my sensitive and rosacea prone skin
No one is reviewing the toleriane sensitive fluid. Apparently they changed the formula and called it sensitive and people are unhappy. Can you please review. I would love to purchase
I have been using it for a while. I don’t know if they changed the formula but it still works amazingly for me
Dr. Shah, I need to know what you use on your sensitive eyelids!
Wonder if ur eye irritation mentioned was from wearing a mask a lot. I noticed the more I wore the mask the worse my eye lids got because the moisture was constantly being directed upwards on them. Just a thought...
That’s a great thought - the irritation for me started before Covid but we wear masks a lot before then, so maybe!
I dot.
I've used a fair bit of La roche-posay to get my skin in order over the years.
I appreciate the tip on cetyl alcohol because i might otherwise reject a product not knowing the difference
There is a group of product sold in Australia the Narhex brand which claims they are 'hypoallergenic' however all the products in the line contain a strong rose based perfume. I know people who got caught out as they thought hypoallergenic meant 'fragrance free'...apparently not!
After a year has gone by, would you still recommend this as THE product(s) for sensitive, acne prone skin? Better than Cerave?
I’m rather enjoying watching Dr Maxfield!
I'm 19 years old. Can I use La Roche-Posay ultra night moisturizer?
Thanks.
I really wish La Roche Posay was cruelty free, but unfortunately it is not. Can you recommend any products that are not tested on animals?
Well, I just discovered you boys (that's what I call anyone under 40 these days) and like your presentations thus far. I am so tired of skincare information/advice from people who have lots of opinions about no bona fides. 😒
Great review!! Any opinion on the version from Europe?? I fear it might be occlusive
As Far as the Toleriane Sun UV SPF 30 still not sure how I feel about it.
which products worked for you because i have the same skin type
What's your opinion about "men's" skincare products like Bulldog, Brickell, Jack Black, Keihl's, ets.? Yeah or nay? Thanks so much
Dr Max clapping excitedly after hearing drugstore
Could. you talk about the ingredients the moisturizers contain and what kind of skin should use it, besides the sensitive? what about is comedogenic, or tendency to combination, etc. etc. Thanks.
Don can I use The ordinary Niacinamide, and Cerave Vitamin C Serum at the same time?
You can apply both of these together. However, there were some older studies that showed niacinamide and vitamin C can have issues together. But more recent evidence suggests that they are ok to use together. But of course, try it out, and see how your skin responds - everyone's skin is a little different. TLDR: They're safe to use together!
Doctorly can I use my lactic acid serum from the ordinary and AHA the red drops from the ordinary the same week ?
Doctorly thanks this was actually one of my questions. This video was fun!! I actually bought this moisturizer today.
Poor Dr Maxwell XD being edited like that, funny though. I got the Dermallergo version of this product yesterday, hope it works well for me. I have really sensitive skin and the one around the eyes even more so.
