Over a year ago I noticed what looks like rosacea (or just over sensitive skin) so I started to use their Toleriane Dermo-cleaner, Hyalu B5 serum, Toleriane Sensitive Riche and Pigmentclar spf 30 daily. Last week I started with the Toleriane Dermallergo. It is so smooth and feels amazing on the skin. In general the redness has definitely become less and my skin looks really good at 47. Love the brand. I see it as an investment. I don’t drink or smoke, so Ill enjoy this vice 😊 Love and appreciate your feedback!

I thought i was sensitive to niacinamide because i introduced a niacinamide cream into my routine. Turns out my skin barrier was damaged. It stung when i would apply it. I stopped everything and just had a simple routine of gentle cleanser, low ingredient moisterizer and spf, for a couple weeks. Once my skin felt better I tired niacinamide again and now it doesnt sting at all. For anyone who tries niacinamide and it stings look into healing your akin barrier and trying it again once its healed. Hopefully it works for you too.!

The Lipikar moisturizer is the best bang for your buck when it comes to moisturizers. I love it so much, especially using it at night. It is so elegant and feels way more luxurious to apply than other moisturizers that cost three times as much. I just LRP would change the packaging as the pump stops working 3/4 of the way through the bottle.

Ive been using their dermallergo serum for several years already. This is pure neurosensin at 0.1% . It helped me to control my rosacea and burning feel whenever i put anything on my face. Fortunately i mastered my skincare (I only use la Roche toleriane range for mosturireizer and acid lactic for aha) so I don't have to use the neurosensin anymore. But i do have it as backup whenever im ready to increase concentration of high irritant ingredient (acid exfoliant/retinol). Also I now use iunik tea extract +centella asiatica for daily soothing as it is more liquid water and faster absorbing, also cheaper price.
Summary for all those with sensitive skin trying to handle the everyday burn and redness: both neurosensin and centella asiatica (madecassoide) are ingredients that I absolutely recommend.

@@laurajean7913I'm not the OP, but do have rosacea. I really like the LaRoche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Cleanser. I use an oil cleanser first to remove my sunscreen and makeup. The tough thing about rosacea (or really any other skin condition) is finding that "thing" that works best for your skin. Lots of people love centella and it's ok for me, too. But personally, I've found that B5 (panthenol), CoQ10, licorice, and mugwort calm my skin better than the centella. For serums, I love the Timeless B5 and CoQ10, as well as NIOD's Modulating Glucosides (this stuff is bottled magic!). Purito's Centella Unscented Serum is great with its centella, panthenol, ceramides and peptides. I ALWAYS use a moisturizer with ceramides because it seems to keep my skin in better health overall. The better shape my skin is in, the less red it becomes. I like CeraVe's PM moisturizer for daytime as it works well under makeup. For nighttime, I use either the LaRoche-Posay Toleriane, LaRoche-Posay Cicaplast B5 balm, or CeraVe Skin Renewing Night Cream. Those last two are what I use when my skin is really inflamed. Hope this helps! Good luck in finding your HGs!
Oh, and personally I use the Colorescience Flex Shield in shade fair for SPF. It has a tint that tones down my redness and isn't orange. It also works well under makeup. It's expensive (but worth it for me) so I buy a year's worth on Black Friday every year 😊

The La roche Posay Lipikar AP moisturizer has been my go to for a long time. It’s a family favorite. I used it on my face and body when I had cystic acne and oily skin, I used it on my face and body when I went through eight months of Accutane with extreme dryness, and I use it now many months later with pretty normal skin. I enjoy using it after my tretinoin has dried down. My toddler also uses it on her eczema prone skin and my husband also uses it on his dry cracked hands in the winter. We’ve tried newer moisturizers and always come back to this one. I do find that the version with the pump leaves a lot of product in the bottom of the bottle that the pump cannot reach, but you could always cut the bottle open. They make different packaging options, I like the brown squeeze tube because I’m able to get every last drop out of it and then I recycle it.

I have been using LA Roch Posey's Toleriane Purifying Face Wash for about a month, prior was Vanicream Face Wash, I trying to find the best fit. Last night I tried the First Aid Beauty Pure Face , wow that was such a soft texture but felt so medicated. My face was very dry afterwards but soft. I went into it for the white tea and feverfew. I have been using the tolleriane eye cream for quite a while now (in Europe this line has been available for a long time). I ran out of it anf decided to just use my regular moisturizer on my eyelids, and, I feel the difference. The dry patches and itchiness came back. Plus, regular moisturizers always tend to migrate at some point to my eyes if I apply it on the eyelids and then it gets uncomfortable. So I will be getting the la Roche eye cream again, it does work better for me. And I like that one pump is the perfect amount for both eyes, as opposed to face creams that would have to be measuring a small amount or doing half pump and stuff, so, it is a nice convenience.

I love love la roche posay lipikar ap+m triple repair moisturizing cream so much 😊❤ plus it's cost effective and works both for the face and body which means it's practical as well ❤. Another product i love from the lipikar line is the la roche posay lipikar fluide also fragrance free ❤😊. Indeed LP has many many moisturizing products so you put criteria and if a product fills these particular characteristics then go for it 😅😊. Thanks for the info on the peptides and on LP Doctor Andrea ❤.

The dermallergo crème is my go to moisturizer, and since I use it like my buffer, rehydrating moisturizer during the day, my sealing moisturizer, etc I’ve been able to tolerate chemical sunscreen, 1% retinol and vitamin C 20%, I’ve even thought my skin was no longer sensitive, but when I
Stop using it my sensitivity starts to show again. Not cerave, not avene, this one is the one my skin likes

I use this products because Cerave creams and face wash has a tingling sensation after application/use. After using their product line the flaring of my skin got better. No more tingling sensation less pimples. Now, most of my products are La roche posay dermallergo, Toleraine and so on. Also, their Lipikar Baum AP helped me from my keratosis pilaris flare-up.

You are truly a blessing, I was looking through their products yesterday and couldn't figure out what is what. I love their retinol and a face wash my friend let me borrow (my skin tolerates their fragrance well) it was a good baby step in retinol for my skin though watching your videos helps me make a more informed decision when buying from them. Love the brand.

I absolutely love toleriane riche cream and I wish they would upgrade it to bigger size. I am a student and 22$ for a moisturizer tht will only last me a month or less is too expensive for me 😭 it’s too little product imo for the price. It’s the only moisturizer that suit my skin for the first time and some of my acne scars r lightening too. I used to use moisturizer with big container like cerave I think same price or less for 3-4 months.

I just started the lipitor triple repair lotion last night! After a year+ I am still having tretinoin 0.05% sensitivity bouts; so right now I am trying a day off, a day on and using the triple repair lotion on my off days. I hope it works. If I continue to be red after a week or so, I am going to step back and use a retinaldehyde. Too bad because I really am seeing the fine line nd wrinkles go away. Thanks for all that you do.

I use the Lipikar triple repair cream at night under my tretinoin because I’m super sensitive to tretinoin applied directly. The triple repair is amazing! I found myself reaching for it more during the day because it’s so good for winter dry skin on the face. I recently ran out of my daily facial moisturizer (philosophy…. Ehh I don’t recommend it anymore) and randomly started using the cerave daily moisturizing lotion. My face feels so good and I’m noticing less lines. My husband has commented on how nice my skin texture and tone is 3 times since I did this a few weeks ago. Now I’m questioning why I have ever spent so much money on these expensive skin creams.

Ive been using the night one for nearly 2 years- Its amazing. I have tried the day one as well and used it for a while, but just... im not quite sure (I also feel like at has perhaps a chemical smell??). I dont like it anymore really. The night one, however is incredible. I have dry sensitive skin, but hate feeling suffocated by moisturisers . It was also a life saver when my skin was incredibly sensitive and even water stung (due to health reasons, my skin often suffers). I find them really different . I am in Australia and checked and im sure the ingredients in the US and Australia are the same (Just checked)... and I only ever purchase it on sale (I think its actually more expensive in the US than where I am ...)
