La Roche Posay is the brand that I use when my skin is mad about something - within a couple of days it calms right down. I’ve not tried anything that has irritated my skin. A dermatologist told me this when I was 11 and people look at me like I'm crazy that I don't wash my face. I have almost no wrinkles at 44. I use a lot of gentle oils and minimal make up. Over the last five years of greatly improving my skin health with a very strict skincare regime, I have inadvertently given myself worsening dry eye (Meibomian Gland Dysfunction +). I used to stay away from "basic" moisturizers because I thought I needed to pack as many actives as possible into my routine, and I had persistent redness. I'm so glad I started following Dr Dray' less is more approach! The Double Repair moisturizer is honestly one of the most pleasant moisturizers I've ever used, which I didn't really expect because of the "clinical" look of the tube.
