A group of us were talking about shirts-- button up or button down? I finally looked up the definition. A button down shirt has the little buttoned collar tips in addition to the buttons in the front. A button up shirt just has the buttons in the front! FYI for every fashionista. All your real models 👏👏👏
Lovely. Been watching you for a couple of months now and every time I run to my closet and rip out the frumpy ones for recycling. Scared that I would run out of clothes pretty soon I am really happy to see that I actually have a lot of the stuff in todays show. Great seeing real women . Thanks to all who participated.
Such a fantastic video! Part 2 would be great. Thanks to the models! I have become a big fan of Banana Republic after watching your channel. I also LOVE Brooks Brothers for trousers, blazers and shirts. Many of their classics I’ve had for 20 years that are still in pristine condition. They are pricey, but stand the test of time.
The ladies all look great! I've been looking at a moto jacket from Banana Republic. I'm torn between the cream or the olive green. Decisions decisions.
Happy Tuesday! Which of these pieces are on your shopping list? I added all of the links to the description box as well as the blog post this time. Let me know if you find this more convenient!
Love all the ladies and their classic pieces. I am always hot in Central Florida so if I found a knit or tencel motto jacket I would purchase one. I think I will also purchase white linen shorts as well. Just love shorts. Great 10 pieces. Good job everyone ❤❤❤
I really like straight leg jeans. It seems to me the wide leg jeans tend to make shorter women look shorter, especially if they only come to the ankle. (I’m 5’4”)
Banana republic has a gorgeous Black and Tan trench. It’s so elegant and different from any I’ve seen. Also, I found a swing trench that hits around the hips. It’s much more casual.
Hi! Thanks for saying white OR off-white. I generally don't like white - whether as tops or trousers because they tend to get dirty easily (esp in my area). Aside from that, white doesn't flatter me/ isn't in my palette as I'm an autumn. I prefer off-white for tops and I only have 1 cream colored dress trousers. Some of my white tops, I dyed them using tea to make them off-white, once I made the change to dress in my season. The other tips - denim jacket, straight cut jeans or slacks, etc - I already have some of those. Thnx again and cheers!
This is a great list Nada! Straight legged Levi’s 501 have been around forever, they have a great fit and are very inexpensive. If you can find an original pair without spandex they will last you for the rest of your life. Thanks again!
It is so hard to find moto jackets in real leather for petites!! The problem is the sleeve; the zipper makes the sleeves impossible to shorten. I have a petite one from Nordstrom in their house brand Halogen which I love. It would be nice to have some other options in other colors or styles. Anyone have any recommendations?
I recommend the jacket maker, but they are quite expensive. I will look for some other options and share them here. you are not alone. As a fellow petite I know what a challenge it can be.
I would love to get a leather/faux leather moto but I have short arms so their sleeves are usually too long and because of the zippers I can't alter. Do you know of any that have shorter sleeves?
When you move the zipper up to hem the moto sleeve, the zipper is too close to the elbow, at least in my case. I would buy more moto styles if the zippers were removed on the sleeve. I also find the denim jacket too long in the sleeve also, I cut the band off.
@@NadaManley Jacket Master is a little spendy considering i live in SC and don't' get to wear a leather jacket that much. Maybe petite is the way to go, when available. A lot of motos don't seem to come in petite sizes

Awesome ladies,, so good to see these items in real life!
Thank you to your models! It helps to see the clothes and tips on real people
Useful and practical video! Thank you, Nada. :) And, thank you to the models. :)

I would like to see a video on dressy outfits (wedding guest, black tie optional thing) that cover arms but are not too frumpy. THX!!
It’s coming out Friday! Hope you find it helpful!
Just bought white shorts in a nice denim at J Crew Factory last weekend and now I have the "Nada" stamp of approval! Yaaay!!!!
Thank you for the tips! I would love to see a follow up video!!
Bravo Nada 👏👏👏 More more more!! I needed your sunshine today. Bless you
Thank you Sonja! Made my day! Part 2 is coming up soon!
Thank you, ladies, for sharing your fabulous outfits!❤

All the women look so beautiful!! Thanks for sharing your looks, ladies!
Thank you! They are lovely!
I can't wait for the follow-up! Seeing Kendra in the Mott&Bow tees was so powerful! She really modeled them well and I really need a few myself😅
Nada, thank you so much for continuing great content! Xoxo Micky

Thanks for the comment! Also in Central Florida and totally get that! Here's a linen one you might like! rstyle.me/+bneNWnNY4eOMCWWJ_h...
Tencel is my favorite fabric - if I see anything tencel, I buy it lol - not really but I love it so much!

me too! I wish I could wear wide leg pants but I feel like I look squat in them and always end up going with with a slimmer cut.
Love it!!! Do a follow up!!!!!

Try the Jacket Maker for a custom option Anne. A good shoe repair place can also have make the sleeves shorter. Have you tried petite styles?
I also have short arms, even petite sizes are too long. I hem every sleeve 1.5 inches.

@@eileenternullo8077 I feel your pain! I also have to hem everything. It's a real problem when there are zippers or buttons on the sleeve!

Had to laugh at your pronunciation of Burberry 😂😂
I talk like an American although English is actually my 3rd language lol
I love your channel but why don't you address a plus size woman?
Thank you so much! I have done plus size videos in the past and have another coming up.
I just don’t feel I can wear either a moto or a denim jacket…..they’re not feminine and I’m too manly already…..
Many woman as they age the become androgynous and we need feminine clothes
