I love blazers and jackets. This video provides a fantastic laundry list of how to style them in the most flattering way. You provide the most practical information of any of the stylists on UA-cam! Thank you.
Nada, I am so grateful for all of the detailed hard work you put into your videos. You are so body affirming and I appreciate the focus on shopping our closets. I am learning so much from you! Thank you.
Thank you so much Nada, I discovered your channel this year and you're the best, I recommend your channel to as many people as possible. You're so articulate, intelligent and knowledgeable, it's very kind of you to share your advice and you're always positive and smiley - a ray of sunshine! Have a wonderful Christmas with your lovely family, Lulu xxx
I love the jeans and tops with jackets. So flattering. Great advice for checking flattery by standing straight! Thank you! As always, I've learned more from you! ❤🎉❤
I’ve said you are the hardest working stylist on line, but I neglected to mention you are also the most helpful stylist. I bet many others agree with me! Thank you!
Thank you so much! This is the layering video I have been waiting for - I especially love that you show the not-so-good combinations, it is super helpful. And great reminder of how much we really need to wear belts!
I prefer hip-length jackets, they're still short but not too cropped and they hide my tummy, a jacket that stops at the waist leaves the tummy too exposed. I live in London and can rarely leave my blazer/jacket open - too cold! We're lucky if we even get a mid-season to wear our jackets in, it's usually a fast change from winter to summer and vice versa.
Tradional blazers & Chanel tweed jackets absolutely do not work for me. Jackets drive me crazy when the sleeves & hem line up when your arms are at your side. Creates a wide horizontal line. So, I avoid them in favor of a shorter jacket or a longer jacket. I hate when sleeves end at bust level (unless they are angled on a diagonal) waist level or line up with the hem of your coat. I'm glad more feminine cuts are coming back since I need a fit & flare shape in a coat or jacket & prefer a shawl collar to anything with notched lapels (too sharp) I'm too busty for anything too straight & not tall enough for anything too oversized. I only wear unstructured flowy jackets (dusters, kimono) if they are a lightweight knit , chiffon or gauze. And yes, usually worn over something more form fitting. I have found that the typical suit blazer is too long with a skirt (for my proportions) I would love to find a shorter fitted camel blazer either in corduroy or a lightweight wool tweed but no luck so far. 😢
