I was only familiar with a few of these brands so thanks so much for highlighting them for us. I just love your upbeat personality, your precise vocabulary (!!), and your sensitivity to the wide variety of fashion “struggles” or issues we all have from body shapes to budgets. I just discovered your channel and I am loving all your finds, tips, advice and warnings! I’m midway through a big closet reorg that is based on what is turning out to be a modified (less extreme) version of your brilliant “reverse closet edit” concept. I watch your videos off and on while I work!
I LOVE Quince SO MUCH! I hope they expand their sizes. As a 16/XL, I am on the very tippy top of their sizes, but things I have bought fit EXCELLENT! I LOVE their $40 French Terry Modal Cardigan. Very VERY wrinkle resistant, which is a non-negotiable for me!
Ooh that’s good to know! Yes they are a smaller company still but will hopefully be able to increase their size range eventually. Great tip about that cardigan. I’ll check that out
I would like some sources for unusual statement clothes. Also some clothes with details and embellishments. I have a lot of basics so would like to find some special items. I enjoy your videos that give shopping resources! Thanks 💕
Hi Jeanne! I love statement clothes too, and I put some of my favorite brands categorized by personal style in this catalog. hueandstripe.com/catalog/306H&SV03Z
Thank you, Nada. I have been wanting to try some new brands. Do any of those you mentioned work well for a short torso S/D Green (14P with narrow shoulders).
Glad to see the Bag recommendations. I am in the market for a very good quality purse/backpack, but I don't want a brand name splashed across it (think MICHAEL KORS or KATE SPADE)
So glad you enjoyed hearing about Teddy Blake! Often we feel like the only quality bags are the ones with designer names, but I love the understated luxury of these bags.
Moto Jackets: Do you take them off, once you are indoors? Or are they meant to be an outfit completer to be kept on indoors and out? I have the Kut from the Kloth Milana Faux Suede in Cranberry. It can be a bit heavy if worn indoors.
Good question! I definitely consider than outfit completers, and like to keep them on, but have been known to slip the heavy ones off for sure. I’ve been buying lighter weight Moto’s for that reason especially living in Florida.
Not a dumb question at all! I really like my Natori strapless bra with these tops! I also have a fuller bust. I have also been wearing my Busties and love it. It’s bust tape for filler busts.I highly recommend it
👖Madewell Curvy Perfect Vintage jeans are a dream on this SKINNY PEAR body! Check Poshmark after you know your size, pay around $40-60 (sometimes less) 😉 (beware Everlane curvy fit however, cartoonish on me!)
the catroux sweater by La ligne is gorgeous!
This is exciting to hear about many new brands! Really looking forward to exploring.

Thank you for this great curated list of resources. So helpful to have your insights about them.

Wow Thank You 🎊

I like Quince a lot. I have several cotton sweaters and ponte pants which I like as they come in a 32 inch inseam.
Awesome! The Ripley Rader pants also come in 32” inseam
Dumb question: what kind of bra do you wear with those ribbed tanks (Easy Standard)? I have a full bust and it doesn't work with my bras.

@@NadaManley I was afraid you were going to say that. Strapless bras don't work for me. :(
@@AnneWest I get that! Try the Busties! They are amazing! They work for everyone who I’ve recommended them to.
Another option that worked for me with getting the bra straps out of the way was a bra clip that brought the straps closer together like a racerback.
Cant wait!
Thank you! I hope you like these recommendations!
Which of these brands do you already shop? And which looks like your new favorite?

I’ve heard the same from so many women about those jeans. And Poshmark is always a good idea!!! Thanks for the comment!
But nothing for plus size women.
Or tall women
I was going to ask about that..
