We hope you enjoyed the third part of our beginner series. Make sure to check out our other two beginner videos, especially if you are new to golf to get started easily and be on the right track. Go to easiestswing.com to learn more and take your game to the next stage. But first go out an enjoy playing the game!
I’ve gradually been cherry picking various parts of easiest swing. The idea of total relaxation has completely changed my game. It’s easy to become fixated on a particular technical move, believing that will bring great golf. I feel us amateurs need to stop chasing (and being sold) tour pro type swings. These guys are unicorns, the average person has zero chance of copying it.
Been using the ES for a while now with some definite improvements... last 2 range sessions really striking it pure... today - couldn’t hit a thing... shanks... tops... duffs... what is going on??? Maybe just one of those days?
Yes indeed - we all have a day like this from time to time. It tests our attitude and mental strength, just believe you will be better next time especially if you can recall what it’s been feeling like when it’s been going well. Just trust your subconscious will sort it out between now and next time you go. Stay well - play well 👍
I was using a 52° gap wedge but the concepts can be used with virtually any club - ……ok maybe not a driver!! 😂 but yes indeed I often use 8 & 9 for lower running shots.
Great Video! A bit surprised you have The ball in The midle of your stance in a bunker. Do you have The ball a bit back for ordinary irons? Like Brian did😊 Reading The new book. Great😊
Thanks for your support and kind words. For the purposes of coaching beginners hitting the sand in the right place is an easier task to execute. If you notice I don’t mention open stance, swinging out to in, ball position forward, weight forward etc etc these can all come later and most learners get confused by these elements when they are nowhere as important as striking the sand in the right place.

Soft hands and being relaxed is my key Phillip. When I do that, my tempo and rhythm are so much better. 4:32

Do you use a strong release for the sand
Watch our next video release in 2 hours time. It might just be on this topic 😁
What degree club are you using on these chip shots? Do you ever use 9 or 8 irons when you have lots of green to work with? Thank you!

for deeper bunkers, would you use the same swing with maybe a lob wedge for added height?
Absolutely!
