Won a regional final yesterday, practice day i’d drifted away from the method and was trying to muscle it and played terrible. At night in my hotel room gave myself a talking to spent ages doing the dance, i was a different player on the day. Thank you Brian.
I can't fully finish, but with the narrow stance and flared left foot I have adopted due to my ankle issues, i'm now finishing in the same consistent position on every shot. I have adapted your advice, and at the age of 66 i'm now playing off my lowest h/cap ever, of 8.8. You guys have played a big part in that, so many thanks...
just curious as to what your ankle issues are? I injured my left ankle at the beginning of the pandemic and I am unable to get weight transferred into a balanced finish position. This situation has led to unbelievably bad golf and has taken away my enjoyment of the game. Is there anything else you have done other than the narrow stance and flared left foot?
I have little movement in the left ankle, and bone against bone arthritis, which means i can't finish fully either. I have bad days when it is painful, and step through with the right foot. My best golf is when i shorten the backswing and 'punch' my shots. You just have to find a way...@@billricke8232

Gentlemen, I’m so happy I found this video. I definitely have not been finishing in one consist position. I’ll be working on this great tip. Thank you.
Hi Martin yes somewhat, though in putting it’s really important to hold the target in mind throughout the stroke. By doing that this should help determine where you want to finish your follow through. Thanks for the comment I think you just gave us an idea for a future video!! 🤩
Good turn, weight shift, balance and relaxation will all contribute to a good finish position. We hope you find great results implementing this into your swing.
I remember reading about a professional golfer, back in the Sarazan era, who when asked why he had not yet written a book on the golf swing replied: "A book? I can put the instructions for the golf swing on a 3x5 recipe card, which is hardly a book!"
Simply brilliant 👏 However, the irony is not lost on us that we will shortly have two books for people to read about golf, not so much the golf swing though! 😉
What a great way to think about the golf swing! You’re not thinking about the swing at all! The best golf that I’ve ever played in my life (and best strikes) was when I wasn’t thinking swing at all. Not shocking that that my swings were with great tempo, no tension, and in balance…effortless.
Thank you for an interesting video. I need to improve my finish & will try your quick way of getting into the correct position. Any progress with your new book?
It's a very easy element of the swing to work on that will have a greater impact than many would believe. The book is written and currently being edited by the same trusted individuals that worked on the original. We'll update everyone as soon as it is ready to go to print.
As a senior golfer, this looks like it would be great to use. I agree with you; I haven't heard a lot of instructors/pros mention the finish. Thanks - going to work on these drills to improve and relax into the game more.
Love the suggestion, can’t wait to try it out, I booked for Monday. Cheers from 🇨🇦 Update! I tried this method today, I was transformed, my last round my average drive was 161 yards today my average was 191 yards. My first drive was 243 yards into the a 10 mph breeze. I’m grateful to you for sharing this, I’m amazed how seemingly effortless this seems, hole two I reverted to my usual way and drove a 148 yards. Can’t wait for next season.
Very good advice! Any tips for very tight internal rotation of the right hip (I’m a senior lefty) besides flaring the right foot very open to be able to face the target at the finish? For me to comfortably finish I’m about at 10 o’clock but if I clear my right foot extremely to the right, I can face to target but it is very awkward. Any advice is appreciated thank you.
I think flaring the right foot out is the simplest cure, make sure you allow your right heel to lift in the backswing despite this position and it should keep you pain free. 🤞 is physio out of the question too?
Hi guys. I must comment. Your channel is absolute gold. And I mean GOLD. I’m 50 y/o and started playing golf 4months ago to play with my eldest son who took up golf 18 months ago. Quick question! Went back and have watched every single video all the way from Brian’s 7+ years ago… question is… my clubface and down swing are still giving me an open clubface at times. What am I doing wrong exactly ? My wrists are very loose and grip is at a 2/10. Sometimes when I hit a straight shot the ball flight is so high I’m getting hung up and went and getting no roll too. My swing ends up in the same spot in the follow through resting on my shoulder as well. Would love any input or possible advice to that open clubface I’m getting.
You may want to contact Sean directly and arrange a consultation. However, rather than focus on what you perceive as a fault, focus on what you know is correct. With that focus you will see improvement soon. The great teacher Manuel de la Torre, when asked by a student, "what did I do wrong," would reply, "why do you want to know? Do you want to do it again?"
Do you try and keep the clubface square through the ball as it should naturally rotate (& close) by 5° every 50cm (2”) through the impact area, perhaps you are not allowing that to happen? Especially as the ball is going high this is likely to be the best area to check.
@@philipsparks8315 I think that’s my problem right there! I’m making contact and kind of just going through right up to my finish behind my shoulder. Will work on that and thank you for the response! Much love guys.
I am lefthanded. With Easiest Swing is there a dominate arm while swinging the club? I try to use my left so can have more accuracy to my target. What do you say to that?
Not intentionally. We would suggest hitting one handed shots with each hand and see what happens, eventually you will discover that both hands have a role, your objective is to learn to coordinate the two sides to work together. Then it's personal preference.
It's fantastic that you already understand the power of a good finish in golf! Keep at it-you're on the right track. Even our coaches need a refresher sometimes, so you're in great company. Thanks for your kind words and keep swinging easy!
Great stuff gentlemen, what about hand and wrist action through strike, consciously think of snapping wrists through impact Ie: rolling right over ledt.
I always think that snapping the wrists sounds difficult to control. Nicklaus always talked of quiet hands. Gently rolling right over left in a nice relaxed fashion to create a kind of slinging action is closer to what I think it should feel like.
I just went to the range with this and the dance move premise in mind. My most effective range session ever! Even the driver was working. Damn. Thanks boyos!
Hi blackhorseveteran Thanks for sharing that great story. What a visionary coach that must have been. Wild Bill Melhorne (look him up) said “The follow through is more important than the backswing”
A nice tall and relaxed finished facing the target typically requires balance. Not just balance at the finish but balance from address through the entire swing. Once you have mastered this, your ballstriking will greatly improve. All you have to work out then is direction. Balance is key, and focusing on a balanced, tall, relaxed finish facing the target is a great place to start.
Our pleasure! The results like so many aspects of Easiest Swing generally surprise golfers of the effectiveness and ease of implementing it into their swing. We hope this is the same for you.
I read the Positive Impact Golf book. I had prostate surgery and I couldn't do much but lie around. So I read the book. It wasn't what I expected. I was wondering if it was a waste of money to buy it. I started doing the exercises and watching your videos and slowly it started to come to me. When I could go out again and get on the course, I would hit decent hits. Not all the time but enough to show to me I was on the right track. I would hit bad shots and I would tell myself to relax more. Take the tension out of my hands, wrists, arms, and shoulders. Once I did that, I would hit a fairly good shot. Sometimes they would go straight and far, at least far for me. I have never hit more then 200 yards or so. I hit a tee shot on a par 4 dog leg left which is around 300 yards and hit the green. I was amazed of how far it went. Thing is I had lost the ball in the sun when I hit the tee shot. So I didn't see where it went. I had to have hit it over the trees on left side or a curving left shot. I don't know slice or hook or what it is called. I am 69 and a lefty and I have played golf since I was in junior high school. The short game was the best part of the game. No one showed me how to hit the ball on that part of the game because I was better at it than the guys I played with. I had a natural swing. I was confident to chip on the green and then putting. I used to be able to read the green and sink putts. So my friends would out drive me and hit better on the fairway but I would catch them with my short game. While practicing with what was in your book, I started realizing that was the way I used play with my short game. Now using your tension free way of golf, I am getting back to my basics. I swing the club and feel the weight of it. I have a fuller back swing and hit farther and straighter. I also have started to swing thru with club laying on my front shoulder. First tee still gets to me. I really tense up and have worm rappers. I also use the book when I hit a shot and find good things about the hit. I hit one that doesn't go far and I will tell myself that it was in the fairway. I chip one onto the green and it doesn't get close to the hole, so I tell myself that I had good distance. Hit a good shot, I would tell myself good shot. It makes the game more enjoyable. Get rid of the negatives and focus on positives. I still don't know about gripping the club. I try a neutral grip because it keeps me from hitting looping left shots. I am using a baseball grip now. I learned to use an interlocking grip but would like to change it. What do I do to have a natural grip? Sorry about being long winded but I am excited about this.
Just keep your hands close together whether it’s overlap, interlock or baseball matters not just pull the base of your left hand as far up the pad of your right thumb as reasonably possible…. We will be putting a video out about this sometime soon. Glad you’re enjoying your Easiest Swing journey!

@@Easiestswing Thanks for the reply! Looking forward to it. I think your channel will blow up when golfers see you don't have to swing a club with everything you have to play golf well.
If you practice at a slow speed and gradually increase the speed, will the distance improve? Since I practice at a slow speed, I can get my posture, but I can't get the iron distance.
Watch this video by Brian, where he discusses gaining distance and a slow swing. Its about 5 minute in that will be most helpful to you ua-cam.com/video/469NDASOrrs/v-deo.html
I been teaching golf for 50 years and focus on the Ernest Jones swing the club head , was involved with LPGA and saw Annika head position at impact like the ES . For my understanding could you show at shot of the impact position showing the head location. I still can’t see if ES head position at impact looking at the target is before or simultaneously with impact ,Thxs
Good to hear from and meet a like minded coach 👍 Brian used to demonstrate lifting the head before impact just to show how it doesn’t cause bad shots (see his original “easiest swing in golf video). We don’t necessarily advocate looking targetwards before impact but just want golfers to avoid the Deadly Don’t of trying to keep their heads down. So I guess in our book it is not critical when the eyes turn from the ball so long as the movement is free of any restriction. Thanks for your interesting point.
Hi Russ easiest way to answer this question is to let our founder Brian explain it in this short video. ua-cam.com/video/y8L_H7ykL3g/v-deo.htmlsi=XkutHI_nFq2wruIq
Over the years (Philip here) I have gone from too long to too short to now fairly conventional. I see too short is common amongst seniors but makes the game more difficult - so aim for longer rather than shorter but make sure it is achieved by a good full turn not just an arm swing.
Hello guys...I was at my local driving range and the club pro was giving a lesson in the next bay to me and I overheard and watched him Talking about Shallowing the club? on the down swing i think...Can you explain what he was talking about? Is it to do with the Plane? and what does that mean also...Hopefully you will be able to decipher what that club pro was on about....So glad i found you guys...🙂
This is a really interesting question and is an issue many club golfers suffer with. Unfortunately many coaches attempt to deal with the result rather than the cause….. It is caused by the trail wrist tensing rather than remaining relaxed as you start the forward swing. The result being that the shaft gets into a more vertical position (and the clubhead ends up on the outside of the swing plane). Whereas “shallowing” happens due to more relaxed wrists especially the trail wrist which allows the weight of the clubhead to fall more behind the player and the shaft angle moves away from the vertical and more towards the horizontal then the clubhead effectively drops further behind the player and under the plane. All in all this creates more lag and more of an inside attack on the ball. So there you have your answer - but it will not help your game if this isn’t YOUR issue and it is a very difficult thing for most club golfers to achieve. Frankly, for most normal players getting rid of the 3 Deadly Don’ts and adopting the six basics will solve this problem as well as many others. My advice? Keep it simple stick with Easiest Swing!!

I can't get my posture right with my irons. I lean over and try to stand upright as much as possible. Then I think that I am standing too close to the ball. Some shanks happen. My lower back hurts when I lean over. What am I to do? Do I need longer irons? I am 6 feet tall. I have read the book and I have watched most of the videos. What am I missing?
What a great question perhaps I can tell you about my son who is 6’5” and has just gone from 1” longer and is finding Easiest Swing much easier with all that extra length. I am 65 and 6’4” with 4 fused vertebrae in my upper spine so following surgery 17 years ago when I also changed from 1” longer to 2” longer. It sounds like you may also have back issues and at your height 1” longer would be much more comfortable. If you’re unsure just get one iron lengthened and see how it feels
Tried it at the course and found that doing this destination practice stopped all negative thoughts....then, it's easy to make a committed swing! Stressdr
If you lack flexibility in your knees, hips or ankles try turning your front foot out a few more degrees and you should be able to make this position. Brian coached many players right into their nineties who found incredible benefits from freeing up their follow throughs to finish like this.
You need your centre to get further ahead of the ball at impact so 2 things: 1 set the ball back in the stance (a little) making sure the clubface sims at the target not to the right. 2. Ensure your core moves further ahead of the ball than normal at impact.
Hi Nathan thank you for your interest. I am retired from coaching but am planning to start offering four x 3-5 day coaching courses on a one-to-one basis each year. However, we do have Easiest Swing coaches internationally in the UK, USA, Denmark, Holland, and Majorca. Check out easiestswing.com for details and email addresses.
If your contact with the ball is consistent and correct, the finish position will be as well. The only thing that matters is the consistency of getting to the proper contact position for optimal compression and point of contact. Nothing else matters.
Noonev can argue about importance of achieving this finish, it’s how you get there in one coordinated, rhythmic movement. I find it difficult and often easier to achieve if the arms in control, unfortunately ‘tail wagging the dog’. Personally I think it can only be a consequence of the right movements before, not something you can work back from. Just a view, I may be wrong.
Of course you are not wrong - if it works for you that’s fine. I have worked both ways over the years and it always appeals to concentrate on the route there rather than the destination but know I can only finish well when I’m swinging well ….cause or effect? Hard to say!?!
Good point Melissa, you are right this only really applies to full swings. Once the swing size is reduced you don't need to get to this complete position, however, you may be surprised that it will work with some shots that are smaller than you would expect.
As chipping is a much reduced swing at both ends of the swing you won’t get to this same position. Take a look at this ua-cam.com/video/nZHC7GR6pdE/v-deo.htmlsi=Sux2C4oEn6S7rDhk it should help you
Once you know and recognise this finish position you don’t need to do anything other than let your various body parts find the natural way there on their own. Don’t overthink it!
Looks like you guys are using only right arm and right hand to swing thru, right?
Рік тому
Not at all. In fact quite the opposite. The intention is to keep that right arm and right hand quiet at all times on the forward swing as much as possible. I am curious how you came up with this summation.
Good lesson, great way to focus rather than all the other things, but.... your teaching technique is such that I was yelling at the screen to "get to the point"~!!!!! I also don't care what a bad shot/swing/ position looks like, I want to see what the best position is and work on that. Thanks for the lesson.
Noted! However, we are very happy that you enjoyed the content you found most useful and hope that you see real progress in your own swing as a result.
Thanks lads but far- far too much waffle . Remember that people watching your video have probably watched hundreds of these instructional videos. They don't really care what the 'new realisation' is or what it is called, neither are they here for whatever gizmo or course is being sold, they just want the fundamental point but (and this is a plea) not a mantra repeated ad nauseum. I watched other videos you made and they are not like this one, they avoid constant repeats of the message and just get on with the instruction , which is what people want. Once you go American on it, you have lost me.
At 8.20 into the video we talk about a consistent end to the swing and show some of the variations that players may produce. So step 2 is a consistent finish position.
Check out this video which explains this very clearly and simply This Simple Move Will IMPROVE Every Golf Swing ua-cam.com/video/2TCK6GGScjk/v-deo.html
Would love to still be able to achieve this correct position as I used to . Sadly triple right ankle fusion has got rid of the pain but ruined my golf ! I was around 10 handicap but following the operation can’t play to 24 ! Any suggestions please, as nobody else can provide a remedy !
Thanks for your question Mike and a challenging one to answer! One of our greatest influences was a British Professional called Ernest Jones who was the pro at Chislehurst who went to America and became a famous teaching pro. Jones taught the golf swing as a simple pendulum he lost his right leg during the war and played off his left leg. Four months after his amputation he scored a 38 on the front, and despite fatigue, a 45 on the back nine for an 83…remarkable. I would suggest reading his book “Swing the Clubhead”. I think that you may have to adapt from using the right ankle and strong lower body movements to more of a free hinging and swinging action. I used to caddy for Douglas Bader the famous 2nd world war fighter pilot who lost both legs. He managed to play (from memory) to about 15 and of course had no choice but to swing the clubhead with free hinging wrists. So I imagine this will be the area for you to work on. I suspect you are fighting this change but I am also certain that if you can take the stress out of your swing your game will improve more than you expect. Great news that you are out of pain. Do let us know if any of this helps.

Along with Philip's great advice I would also like to suggest what is essentially a drill but you could make it your swing. The exercise comes from Jim Flick, a famous coach in the US. DRILL: LEFT FOOT, RIGHT TOE Step up to your ball and assume your normal address. Now put all your weight on you left leg and foot, balance on your right toe, and hit some golf balls. You will be surprised how easy this exercise is to hit some great shots - and it will help you to integrate more easily the examples Philip referred to of Ernest Jones and Douglas Bader's swings. Essentially, this drill will help you to practise how to use the swinging arms and hinging wrists more effectively.
@@philipsparks8315 Thank you both so much for your advice. This is essentially what I have had to do, but of course at 76 yrs old that type of swing produces short distances . I follow Jim Flick’s teaching so am aware of his work. Perhaps I would be better not worrying that I can’t hit a driver more than 170 yds and tighten up my short game ! All the best to you both, and thanks again 👍👍
@ I have a similar issue as this fellow, only it's my left ankle that is the injured one. In fact, I am like Tiger Woods, only in the aspect of having the same ankle injury that he most recently had surgery for on his right leg! My doctor has suggested fusion surgery, however several surgeons chimed in regarding Tiger's injury that he was fortunate that it was his right ankle instead of his left. If it would have been the left, he would not have been able to play. Therefore, I am not interested in surgery. Would you recommend this same drill/golf swing for my situation? Or would I do the drill with all of my weight on my right foot? Any additional ideas? Thank you so much!

@@billricke8232 I am going to go out on a limb here. Keep swinging easy!!
Start by doing the exercise we show until you can find that poised and balanced position. Hold that for 5 seconds until your body knows and feels that position. (You may need to do this several times and keep repeating) Then using your normal swing, just let yourself find the same finish. Your inner computer will work how, you don’t need to know the mechanics that would just interfere with the simplicity of this move.

just curious as to what your ankle issues are? I injured my left ankle at the beginning of the pandemic and I am unable to get weight transferred into a balanced finish position. This situation has led to unbelievably bad golf and has taken away my enjoyment of the game. Is there anything else you have done other than the narrow stance and flared left foot?
I have little movement in the left ankle, and bone against bone arthritis, which means i can't finish fully either. I have bad days when it is painful, and step through with the right foot. My best golf is when i shorten the backswing and 'punch' my shots. You just have to find a way...@@billricke8232
@@billricke8232 suggest you read Ernest Jones’ Swing the Clubhead he lost part of his lower leg during WW1 and had to learn how to swing on one leg with little weight transference. May just help
Gentlemen, I’m so happy I found this video. I definitely have not been finishing in one consist position. I’ll be working on this great tip. Thank you.
I’m sure it will work well for you - best of luck!
It works ! Thanks..would the same concept works for putting??...Stressdr
Hi Martin yes somewhat, though in putting it’s really important to hold the target in mind throughout the stroke. By doing that this should help determine where you want to finish your follow through. Thanks for the comment I think you just gave us an idea for a future video!! 🤩
That's very true. It's hard to find explanation what the best finish position should be. Thank you
Good turn, weight shift, balance and relaxation will all contribute to a good finish position.
@@Easiestswingmust be easy reading!
Thank you guys, love you both. I'm a very fit and strong 67 year old boy now cant wait to go to the range and implement your golf swing.
😂
Hi guys what a great tip and it works Thank You.
What a great way to think about the golf swing! You’re not thinking about the swing at all! The best golf that I’ve ever played in my life (and best strikes) was when I wasn’t thinking swing at all. Not shocking that that my swings were with great tempo, no tension, and in balance…effortless.
Lovely that is exactly what we want to get to but lots of players end up playing golf swing rather than just playing golf!
Well done - I’m sure you will discover significant improvement. 👍
excellent simple instruction. its obvious you like each others company.
Love the suggestion, can’t wait to try it out, I booked for Monday. Cheers from 🇨🇦
Update!
Enjoy the freedom!

You guys are great.
Thanks much appreciated 🙏
I am lefthanded. With Easiest Swing is there a dominate arm while swinging the club? I try to use my left so can have more accuracy to my target. What do you say to that?
Not intentionally. We would suggest hitting one handed shots with each hand and see what happens, eventually you will discover that both hands have a role, your objective is to learn to coordinate the two sides to work together. Then it's personal preference.
I've been saying for a long time I know I 've had a good shot when I have a good finish. Thank you for this easy swing. Great coaching!
Thanks Gents
Anything to do with hinge, wrist position from start to finish..
Also,
At impact: apart from squaring the club.
Thanks for the suggestion 👍
I just went to the range with this and the dance move premise in mind. My most effective range session ever! Even the driver was working. Damn. Thanks boyos!
Love to hear this Gareth!! 👍
I had a lesson once where the Pro had me start from the finish position, and then swing backwards..I.still do that once in a while.
Hi blackhorseveteran
Thanks for sharing that great story. What a visionary coach that must have been. Wild Bill Melhorne (look him up) said “The follow through is more important than the backswing”
Interesting
do you lead the golfclub with your arms during the swing or are your hands very flexible ?
I try to keep the club swinging in time with everything but look to keep the hands flexible throughout
Excellent
Thank you so much 😀
A nice tall and relaxed finished facing the target typically requires balance. Not just balance at the finish but balance from address through the entire swing. Once you have mastered this, your ballstriking will greatly improve. All you have to work out then is direction. Balance is key, and focusing on a balanced, tall, relaxed finish facing the target is a great place to start.
Thanks for that contribution Benjamin - couldn’t agree more!
Excellent stuff, thanks for this chaps, that simple finish thought clears the mind of the rest of rubbish going on!

Wonderful. Great to see the smooth and effective swings of these two fellow grey-haired gentlemen!
Thanks Andrew - hopefully shows grey hair doesn’t have to equal a stiff swing!
@@Easiestswing thank you
What a splendidly simple message gentlemen. How do you get the feel of the feet as you turn? Russ
Hi Russ easiest way to answer this question is to let our founder Brian explain it in this short video. ua-cam.com/video/y8L_H7ykL3g/v-deo.htmlsi=XkutHI_nFq2wruIq
What are your thoughts on length of backswing. You two have way different lengths

Glad you think so!
Great tip! Didn't quite catch the taller chap's name??
I’m Philip Sparks, Brian’s (ES Founder) brother and since his passing now Principal ES coach
Philip
Do you need longer shafts on your irons?
Yes I am 6’4” and have short arms for my height so use 2” longer than standard.
Isn't the finish an outcome from doing others things correctly? When I use soft wrists and a natural late release I get that nice finish?
Indeed it’s the brilliance of the subconscious that knows how to organise everything beforehand in order to finish well.
Tried it at the course and found that doing this destination practice stopped all negative thoughts....then, it's easy to make a committed swing! Stressdr
Brilliant! glad you have found this is working keep up the good work 👍
The finish position works well if you have the flexibility in your hips and knees, many don’t.
If you lack flexibility in your knees, hips or ankles try turning your front foot out a few more degrees and you should be able to make this position. Brian coached many players right into their nineties who found incredible benefits from freeing up their follow throughs to finish like this.
looks like the 1st at Canterbury?

La même chose avec le driver merci
ok bien sur bonne idée! 👍
What if you want to hit a low stinger? ala tiger woods
You need your centre to get further ahead of the ball at impact so 2 things:
1 set the ball back in the stance (a little) making sure the clubface sims at the target not to the right.
2. Ensure your core moves further ahead of the ball than normal at impact.
@Easiestswing aims not sims
So where are you located at to give lessons?
Hi Nathan thank you for your interest. I am retired from coaching but am planning to start offering four x 3-5 day coaching courses on a one-to-one basis each year. However, we do have Easiest Swing coaches internationally in the UK, USA, Denmark, Holland, and Majorca. Check out easiestswing.com for details and email addresses.
If your contact with the ball is consistent and correct, the finish position will be as well. The only thing that matters is the consistency of getting to the proper contact position for optimal compression and point of contact. Nothing else matters.
Great if that works for you. We are all different.
I agree with you actually. Best video yet.
For pitch shots it doesn’t apply does it?
Good point Melissa, you are right this only really applies to full swings. Once the swing size is reduced you don't need to get to this complete position, however, you may be surprised that it will work with some shots that are smaller than you would expect.
@@philipsparks8351 thank you, noted!
? does this apply when chipping
As chipping is a much reduced swing at both ends of the swing you won’t get to this same position. Take a look at this ua-cam.com/video/nZHC7GR6pdE/v-deo.htmlsi=Sux2C4oEn6S7rDhk it should help you
Do you think one length clubs will be a benefit in this swing?
Brian used single length irons for a few years and so do a few of our members.
That’s a drill to the finish from a standing position. How do you get there from your impact position?
Once you know and recognise this finish position you don’t need to do anything other than let your various body parts find the natural way there on their own. Don’t overthink it!
Looks like you guys are using only right arm and right hand to swing thru, right?
Not at all. In fact quite the opposite. The intention is to keep that right arm and right hand quiet at all times on the forward swing as much as possible. I am curious how you came up with this summation.
@ skipping a flat Stone on water, that's the swing thought.
@@kcleong7135 not sure about a swing thought but definitely a good feeling for the right hand/arm action.

DId I miss the 2nd step. Watched over and over and did not see a 2nd step????
At 8.20 into the video we talk about a consistent end to the swing and show some of the variations that players may produce. So step 2 is a consistent finish position.
You could have give technicalities to end up for a photo finish that you have mentioned !!! Thanks anyways!

You'll be pleased to hear there is a good section dedicated to putting in the second book, which is in editing now! "Easiest Putt" - sounds great!
@@Easiestswing can't wait to see your methods in the book! Also videos would be great to see, keep up the good work gentlemen!

DRILL: LEFT FOOT, RIGHT TOE
Step up to your ball and assume your normal address.
If there is now way you can ut your full weight on the target foot then I am going to suggest you stanp on your tip toes (regarding the tgt foot only). If possible you wold allow the sole of the left foot to return to the ground after impact and towards follow through. Please let me know how you get on with this. I would be keen to know if this may work for you or not.
Hello new friend po from Nez nhoy
Hi and welcome 👋
Ok, always like your videos, very instructive, easy to follow. But I did find this video to be very wordy and repetitive. I found my focus drifting. Sometimes less is more. Don’t make the video twice as long as it needs to be. 😊
Thanks Charles your feedback is invaluable as the new kids on the block we are constantly learning and realise UA-cam is a very fine balance between just enough and not too much. We will keep on working to get it right and so feedback like this is precious - thanks 🙏
Why is it that if I look ahead of the ball 5 inches I hit it really good and accurate
That’s fine as it obviously works for you and at ES we are all about discovering the best and easiest way to uncover your authentic swing. If looking 5” in front of the ball allows you freedom and encourages good striking and ground contact that’s 100% ok with us. Well done!! 👍

As John Norsworthy said ‘Start with the finish.’
Fantastic!
Brian and John were good friends and shared many similar ideas about the swing
Show us the 3 steps and stop talking!
Thank you for the feedback, this helps us to improve & we apologise for any frustration caused.
You both are good coaches but please talk less and practically show more.
Thank you for your feedback.
Totally agree!
👏👍👏👍
It’s an art not coming to the point. 5 min 45
You are right, this was one of our earlier videos and we hope we have learnt from this. However, despite this it has still proven to be very popular! Hope you like our newer content where we attempt to get to the point much quicker!
Way to many words spoken over and over again. The video could have been 10 minutes shorter.
Got it, thank you for the feedback it all helps. We are always aiming to improve!
I have listened for 5 minutes and have not seen the first move, STOP the BABBLING and SHOW the moves !!!!
Learn to simplify your talking and just show us the moves, get to the POINT!!!

You guys do some great videos but you really do need to get to the point. So much repetition and almost half way through before you demonstrate anything.
Yes you are right something we have tried to change in all our subsequent videos. Thanks for the observation it’s very helpful.
Agreed too much talking at gym riding bike and too much blah, blah,
Thanks for the feedback. We released a newer and better version of this topic here: ua-cam.com/video/Owpicp8mJS4/v-deo.html
Appreciate the response; step one easy to follow but step 2 and step 3? I love watching UA-cam videos but simple bullets help me follow along. Why is the Ernie Els/Fred COUPLES video infamous; it’s the video not the audio! Thanks!
Philip, I'm an old (87) pupil of Brian's. I keep up with all you and Shan are doing, BUT, the background sound, music or otherwise is so very disconcerting. It seriously detracts from your very good instruction.
I want to listen to your pearls of wisdom. Please remove this unnecessary addition.
Sorry to be a pain.
Keep up the good work I know Brian will be pleased.
Cheers 🍻 Tug Wilson
Hi Tug great to hear you are still following Brian’s Easiest Swing. You may have noticed that in the most recent videos we have not put the music in the content (it is still in the introduction). We are the fastest growing golf UA-cam channel and have consistently been achieving this since last spring (approx 500% growth) and want to get Brian’s message out to a much larger audience so we experiment with many different elements to see what appeals to them so feedback like yours is invaluable thanks. Keep swinging easy!!
@@Easiestswing thanks for your response Philip. Keep up the good work.
Tug Wilson, dedicated follower!!
PLEASE ditch the mind rotting background muzak. Fot me it makes this video unwatchable.
Dudes ! Get on with it! 5 1/2 minutes of intro 😳
Yes sorry - that’s an old video now and I hope we have learnt from it. We would delete it but it’s a very popular video 🤔
Good thoughts, but could have summed it up in about two minutes. Too wordy.
Thank you for your feedback, we are pleased you enjoyed the content but we'll try to do it using less words 👍
Guys. Tell me "how" to mechanically get there.
I agree. Lost me with talking too much.
Sorry Claudette. You will enjoy our next video then (straight to the point) being released on Saturday!
