I’m having the same issue. I even created a discord and they started flooding it with advertisements for their art. I want to ban them but then I would lose followers.
These are all some great points and tips! I think the biggest one is your point on real growth happening when you aren’t actually streaming! Posting videos in short and long form are really important, I wish everyone the best of luck in your streaming career!

Great video. I’ve only been streaming and putting off the rest of the work, but I can finally change my twitch name due to 2 months policy and I’ll create socials and start learning how to edit. Honestly that first one is such a good point click bait is the best way to grab people's interest, and gives you the opportunity to make long term viewers. Honestly Video content is the best way to learn, editing and grab attention of people. This channel is my main yt channel, and even the little amount of vids I have posted made me learn so much, about everything, until I got stuck working 😂😂 But I actually was doing really well.
What's your opinion on people saying shorts are killing views and success to the channel in general? They're saying people come for short content and then don't engage with the long. Just curious if you still think it's a good strategy to post shorts a lot of the time

Hey can you add chapters to the video, you did a really great job. It may help you see where viewers are needing help so you can make a follow up video.
This is all great advice, but having to use these tactics to become successful would make me sick. I'll happily play games for the experience and stream to a couple of buddies. Good luck everyone! Remember to stay hydrated.

In itself this is good information but there is quite a bit missing and by that I mean the whole title thing. With action games like Fortnite and COD and so on you can make sensational titles. Try the same with Simulation games like Farming Simulator or Flight simulator. How do you make a title that stands out above everyone else? Should you make it, I teach my cows to breakdance or I make my pigs moo? Or should you make a title for a flight simulator like, I show you how to crash? I thought it was a shame that these kinds of videos are only and always about action games, horror games and so on. For the simulation lover there is never a topic passing by.
Twitch is so hard to get a start in, with 0 -3 viewers you are on the bottom of the page, No One but bots and trolls go to the bottom of the pages, It won't matter what the title of your stream is its still at the bottom. Twitch needs to mix this up some how and help promote the new streamers. It's easier to get started on YT than Twitch. Multi Streaming allows you to hit all platforms, I live stream 4k YT, Vertical YT and Twitch all at the same time, and my YT vert beats them all, if your not Vert live streaming your missing out.
@@CpawsMusic Its all about getting viewers to your channel. Are there stats anywhere on conversion rates between viewers of short form like tiktok and Shorts going to twitch/kick? I keep hearing that shorts will help stream views but don't people just stay on their preferred platform, for example tiktok?
So after much testing, you are correct that most people will stick to their preferred platforms. However, if your content overlaps with what you're streaming on Twitch/Kick/etc and the viewer also uses that platform, then they will likely follow your channel if you include CTAs at the end of your shorts etc. (i.e. follow me on twitch in the last 2 seconds of your short) - There's a lot of overlap between video platforms (YT/TT/IG) and Twitch so if they usually consume live content, then a lot of the time they also are a Twitch user as well. It's really a numbers game.
