I’ve been meaning to learn the Ukrainian national anthem in Ukraine and this is helping a lot. I’m glad you do not include the music because I always get distracted by it. It is very catchy. I’m excited to see the sheet music

    Дякую Олю. Я живу у Флориді. У
Рітаєрмент Різорт. На 23 ого лютого, я знайшла банду та співаків. Диригент пропустив щоб я йому могла вислати музику. Я сказала що я попробую знайти слова які вони можуть навчитися.
    Христя

I love this song "Dyvlyus ya na nebo." It was composed in the 19th century and became very popular. It's definitely a Ukrainian song. You probably know the fun fact about this song: it was the first song in history of humanity to be sung in space.

You should add subtitles to the normal tempo part aswel, so we can go along with it =)
Should you (or someone else) have sang it at the end of the video and subtitle it...
    Anyways 💙💛 Slava Ukraini! 💙💛

@@cheebacheeobusiness3893 This is a version for a classical soprano. The anthem can be sung in many different keys, so you should choose whichever one is most convenient for you!

You pronounce it correctly but you spell incorrectly in English . I had to correct my grand daughter she was saying козацькоҐо роду . It should be kozatskoHo Rohdoo

Dear H kly-chom, thank you for your comment. When I work with BSO, I use IPA for transliteration, which is unavailable in the movie editor. I've deliberated about using "g" versus "h" in Ukrainian (being fully aware that Ukrainian diaspora prefers the usage of "h" symbol) and decided that I needed to use "g" to distinguish it from "h,", since there are two letters in Ukrainian - "г", and "х", (and of course there is the" Ґ" sound/letter in addition to that). Since there are two letters in Ukrainian, we need to have two corresponding sounds in the transliteration - "h" and "g". Thus, it is always good to have a pronunciation guide accompanying the transliteration. When transliterating I consulted International System of Romanizing Ukrainian as well as the Ukrainian official system, which uses "g" in the passport system. I then thought that people who have never spoken Ukrainian will be confused by the same symbol "h" representing two different sounds, so I decided to distinguish them. I did find a good solution (which I did not use in the video), but in my future guides I will be using this symbol "gh" to describe the sound. Thank you for pointing this out!
