What do you think of these listings?

My goodness the plot thickens, I don't think we've ever witnessed anything this crazy with Resident Evil before, things are all over the place but hopefully we're going to look back and say it was all worth the confusion and the hype

As I've suspected, RE9 will be announced soon.
The most believable thing is the way they did the numerica title. Capcom has been doing that since re7. And the box art could be a made up place holder so it doesnt spoil the announcement, but idk if i believe it. All in all, doesnt matter to me, ill be STOAKED for any RE title.

Play asia has been around for years. They're legit. But yeah, this is weird. It might be a slip up too. Someone may have set the site's clock too early. I'm thinking that something actually may be revealed at today's state of play. We'll see though, i'm keeping my expectations in check like usual.
Play Asia isn't a stranger to placeholders like this. I have seen plenty in my time shopping with them for a super long time.

It's all AI. The cover art and the logo, even the description is most likely. There's just absolutely no way that any of that was authorized by Capcom, they know better than to tarnish their huge brand with AI crap. The legitimate and official place holder would most likely be just a black cover with the title, nothing else. I've absolutely no idea what has happened here, but none of this is official. That's for sure.
Isn’t Play Asia the same exact site that listed Resident Evil 3 (Remake) Nemesis Edition? That clearly never happened. I get the hype but don’t let any of this stuff give you false hope.
Looks more like Ashley, since 9 would be set years after 4. Be interesting to see how this turns out. Quite shocking if they release 5, 0, and CV in the same year, but that doesn't seem likely.

Some things that i find really strange are 1: the title. Ive done a bit of research and there's no mention of "revenant shadows" anywhere. The title sounds very non-RE, but it'd have to be playasia making stuff up for their description which is super weird. Also, I coulldn't find any source for the image that they use for the cover (tho it may be an ai placeholder, their guns do look kinda wonky). So if it isn't anounced soon, it would just be playasia doing a very elaborate fake listing on their site, which would be insane. Only time will tell I guess lmao

maybe the leakers got it wrong it’s not remakes it’s remasters where getting seems odd they skipped re4 but then again might be confusing 😂.it looked like leon and ada on first look but on closer look it’s leon and jill as she has the same sorta vest top that she wears in the re3 remake bathroom scene and re cgi movie.🤔
If anything RE gets announced this summer dusk golem credibility is gone completely, lots of people don’t think he’s reliable anymore.

I'm sorry, but with a subtitle like "Revenant Shadows", I don't trust this at all. That doesn't sound like anything the RE Team would come up with, especially with the most recent titles sticking to just one word (Biohazard, Village). It just doesn't fit the current naming trend, so that alone automatically makes this suspicious for me.

Even for a placeholder image, I doubt CAPCOM would make the "IX" so amateur like that. I also doubt Helena is returning. We all know how CAPCOM loves to reuse their side characters. She was so bland anyway. It wouldn't surprise me if Leon returns again, but can we please have a different protagonist.
