Seeing you getting a confused shout out by Randy Blythe and Jamey Jasta is hilarious.
If they do it, and fans have been saying this, they should combine 0 and 1 with the actual canon ending with Barry Brad Chris Jill and Rebecca along with bringing back multiple endings. Maybe even an epilogue where they confront Chief Irons

@@dayvonlouis5187 you're not wrong, I love Code Veronica, it's still challenging for me even though I grew up with the original trilogy. I say they remake 0-1, CV, and even gun survivor as some kinda dlc mission. I'm excited for whenever 9 comes as well. Capcom isn't perfect, but they are consistent in effort imo

We could talk about resident evil 1 all day everyday and I wouldn’t get bored . Imagine the new level of horror they could bring with the re engine
IF RESIDENT EVIL 1 REMAKE RELEASE IN 2026, THEN IT MAKE SENSE THAT CAPCOM USE THE UPDATED REX ENGINE, NOT RE ENGINE WHICH IS ON ANOTHER LEVEL.
if they remake RE1 again which is basically full of corridors, they have to build the game mechanics completely in a new way to make the game fresh again and not the same as RE2 remake as that game, u have much more space to move around so 3rd person camera works. They would have to do something new and unique for this remake tho....
Hell yeah man I'm enjoying having discussions with the videos and of course reading the community and the responses. Most have been positive but some people are scared or on the fence about it but my take is let's just stay positive and see what happens next with the next RE announcement!
I remember the lost in nightmares dlc in part 5 seemed like resident evil 1 in 3rd person mode .
I want them to bring back STARS to take on the BSAA. That would be a cool RE sequel story.
My hope is that they update the combat to make us feel and know why they are members of S.T.A.R.S. Maybe not to the level of Leon in RE4R but at least better than Leon in RE2R.
Similar to RE6 would be dope.
I know its not looked upon favorably, but the combat was one of the best they've done.

@@MaxBraver555 yeah I heard about that one before the Capcom leak too, supposedly it was Resident Evil Revelations 3 but it got quiet and I never heard anything about it afterward
@@Ghostface44and that was actually hacked from Capcom themselves, which could be more real than RE1 Remake, until Capcom officially announce, RE1 may not even exist, and while we're at it, there was even a Nemesis Edition or Director’s Cut of RE3 Remake, fake image was floating around the community 3 years ago

Everyone. I was looking at the release date of Resident Evil GC remake (March 2002); and the Film "28 Days Later (November 2002).
I loved the idea of Rage Virus and Running Brutal Zombies. So i wonder if the Director "Danny Boyle" or the writer "Alex Garland" was inspired by Resident Evil!? *edit* I say this because of the concept of the crimson head*end edit*

Alex Garland has said he was inspired by RE1. Thats why there’s a mansion at the end of 28 days later
What I would like to see from an RE1 remake is a prologue or like a "demo" with Rebecca and Richard surviving before alpha team gets there and ending on the yawn encounter with a to be continued building hype like RE7 did
I think them connecting 0 and 1 can easily be done and just make everything cohesive

I thought they should do it when they did 3 and made Jill the way she was. It made me wonder what she was like in the mansion… but idk after Death Island I almost don’t want Nicole’s Jill back…but they kinda have to… bring her back… I will only buy it just to say I have it. I don't think it's hard to do, I just think they go with what will sell and print money for their company. CV will happen just not right now.

I like OG RE and RE remake is probably my favourite RE game (even thought it's a tough call), so yeah, I would love to have another RE1. I mean why not? RE2 and RE4 remakes were great, hoping on RE1 being at least that good. Hopefully Outbreak remake or part3 is also in development.

I'm Japan it's been called Biohazard RE but Over here it's just been RE. I think Resident Evil 1 will be how it is styled with the number 1 at the end making them all streamline titled.

I can’t wait for Dusk to have egg on his face because a few days back he tweeted out that he’s adamant there is no RE1 remake. When he’s wrong I hope that clout chaser can finally piss off - he isn’t the end all of rumors and the one that has to sign off on leaks.
Exactly and some people find this podcast pointless because I didn't cover anything new when I specifically was talking about the BHD leaks that I haven't covered yet as well as discussing my thoughts on the whole "end all be all of leakers"

"Cough" Duskgolem.....Here's a bigger question. Was the PS5 as a whole a failure. We literally got no true PS5 games..except for racket and clank. just pretty PS4 upgrades.
Why PlayStation event though? It's not a Sony game.
Because Resident Evil games have a track record of being revealed in Playstation events!
They usually drop stuff at Sony events and if not they do their own Capcom Showcase.
I think RE1 (2002) is perfect and shouldn't be remade. That game is already perfected and captures the essence of what true survival horror is and Resident Evil's identity. From fixed camera perspective to tank controls, it doesn't need to be modernized because that is the way it is meant to be played. Capcom should focus on the games that needed remakes, Code Veronica or even outbreak.
It’s inevitable that they’ll do a remake of 1, but I just feel like it’s just plain wrong. I don’t care if fans don’t like the fixed cameras or the style of the 02’ game, it’s pure art and making it over the shoulder wouldn’t differentiate from any other 3rd person horror games these days, it would water it down and make it soulless
They should remake Re1 last of the remake series. RE2 became scary and horror again, even with 3rd person camera angle. But we already have RE2-Re4 remake with the same camera so they have to either make a new camera for RE1 remake or stick with original fixed camera angle but add a whole new game mechanics for the smaller rooms and corridors of RE1 mansion/lab to make it fresh again like RE2 remake.
I know what you mean it is the holy grail of remakes so they have to tread carefully
Was never a huge fan of 2002 it was the last one I played and i always perferred the originals creepy atmosphere to 2002's disney haunted mansion vibe
I totally get what you mean with the "vibe" of RE, that's why RE7 and 8 nearly killed my interest in the entire franchise. Even 6 didn't manage to do that 😂 and that game is far from great
I expect 9 to be weird and out of place as much as the previous 2 where, I just hope the lore goes back to the million unanswered questions and loose threads that go back to 6 and beyond
