It's crazy that I don't need to watch this video to understand that Infamous never fell off. Sucker Punch didn't want to be known for only one franchise hence Ghost of Tsushima
@Alex Corvis I think you fail to realize that Sony didn't want pc ports until recently. Combined with the fact that the only ones they could port are Second son and First Light, there is no reason. The first two games were made on ps3 so porting to ps4 or ps5 is not worth the time hence ps now having those two games. This isn't Sony's fault nor is it Sucker Punch's fault, it's just how things go
@@Bigmellow_ First Light was a good game. It served the same purpose as Festival Of Blood. It was never intended to be a Main Line game, but more of a DLC based Side Game. The franchise died because SP moved on to different things.

It has a special place in my heart because it was one of the 2 free games I chose when the online service was hacked and shutdown back for about 2 months. It was amazing decision that introduced me to a great series.
This series just nailed the emotional aspects of an everday person becoming a superhuman. I have so much love for Sucker Punch. They put a lot of humanity into their games.
I totally agree, that's why Cole Macgrath resonated with me so much, He wasn't a superhuman from another planet or some warrior prophesied to save the world, He literally was just a regular guy going to work living paycheck to paycheck when He got His electrical powers

I've gotten each Collector's Edition post InFamous One and Cole, Delsin, and Abigail will always have a special place in my library of gaming.
@Akil Brazier They nailed it! Obviously they couldn't go 1:1 in making it, but they got a ton of the architecture, street design, and especially the area Desmond starts the game out in by the coast correctly. It was surreal being able to explore a digital version of the Pop Culture area next to the Space Needle, lemme tell you. I was very impressed at how well they recreated Seattle.
@Erik fritdisburg their office is located in Bellevue which is the city next over from Seattle, about 25 to 30 minutes away, but either way, of course they had to nail it, being located in Washington and being familiar with the city itself. It was just so awesome to be able to explore the city and climb everything from a super hero/video game standpoint. Love going back to it!
It's good. But just didn't make sense with the ending they picked as Canon. Should have just went with the infamous ending of 2. Ypu know the ending that's named after the game
For me, it's the way Delsin controls with his smoke powers. Even something as simple as his dodge has the sort of "weightless" and "floaty" feel to it when he comes out of it. He sort of "hovers" at the end, which leads seamlessly into running. No delay really between the two actions.
Greatest thing about Infamous 2 for me was the level creator. I found it to be so much fun to fool around in it, filling an entire area with all sorts of enemies and attempting to come out alive. Honestly, it was impressive my ps3 didn't explode 😂
@Ace7of7Hearts I think we might see something similar near the end of the ps5s life Were it's pushed so far and thx to talented devs we'll see something that shouldn't be possible on it
@@Transport4ThatDumpTruck apologies but I kinda meant features and capabilities. Pushing graphics to it's limits is kinda common now but coming from a PS2 to a PS3 was the biggest difference between console I ever seen. PS Home, playing music with games, media server, Linux, 1st Netflix app, screenshot and video/voice chat but couldn't work with game thou like Xbox. 🤣 My friend brought up a point that with each new gen we lose more feature than we get. Sorry for the ramble this is technically a infamous vid but damn that PS3 was sexy.
@@Transport4ThatDumpTruck it's sad but it's better to get a console for a 13 or younger gamers and a PC for older gamers. Another Example the stream feature is pretty much the same as it was on PS4.
I would love another Infamous game, one of my favorite series. What I really loved is that while the story decisions may not have been hugely different depending on if you were playing good or bad, the moment to moment gameplay was massively different. Playing good meant actively avoiding injuring civilians and killing enemies, whereas bad was pure chaos, go all out, blow everything up, who cares who gets hurt in the process. With second son looking as good as it did almost 10 years ago, imagine what SP would be able to accomplish now. Fingers crossed we get to find out
@@DJVideso oh lord in Infamous 1 the one im playing right now cause of ps+ there are many, i killed so many civillians accidently cause they just run into my lightning is INSANE
I'll die on this hill but First Light has got to be one of the best DLCs to ever come out for any game. Got it for free but I had so much fun playing it
Was my first platinum. Loved it and played it for about a week dedicated and moved in. It was perfect length to crystallized as an early high of the PS4.
I'm shocked you never mentioned the Festival of Blood DLC. That was a nice twist on the infamous games. And I still have a blast playing it and most of the other infamous games.
I was so upset I never got to play this one. I bought the infamous 1/2 combo pack new from a box store and the DLC code for Festival of Blood was already expired. Sony support wouldn't give it to me when I called
inFamous 2 was really impressive in retrospect, you could destroy entire warehouses during those Ice Titan battles lol. They deffo need a remake or at least a port.
One thing you didn't touch on was the fact that after the Sony Playstation Outage in 2011, the 1st Infamous was one of the games offered for free as compensation. I bring this up because that's how I was introduced into the series. And the soundtracks in all the games are still amazing to listen to. The 1st being my favorite because Amon Tobin and James Dooley made an amazing soundtrack that fit the abandoned dystopian city vibe.
One of my favourite missions from InFamous 2 was just a little random sidequest. If you play through the Good Karma path, a woman comes up to you, and says that if it hadn't been for you sharing food supplies in Empire City (which is wiped off the map at the start of the game), her mother would've starved to death in the quarantine there. She kisses you, thanks you; and that's the mission over. I adored it as just a little example of how it felt that you were impacting real people whose complex lives, not just ticking off location markers on the world map.
The First still is my favorite since it is much darker than the others. The game has interesting bosses, Kessler’s plot twist and i enjoy much more Karma’s changes. Besides that, lightning is a much more badass power. The good Cole keeps his original look with blue/white lightning. Evil Cole is just awesome with a creepy look and a red/black lightning. So badass. Even the weather changes based on your Karma. The First one is so underrated.
I never noticed how the weather changed depending on your karma, but I did love how Good and Bad had Blue and Red as their respective electricity colors.
@@maineman5757 A lot of things about 2nd Son was confusing, and they could have just done an actual Delsin dlc if they wanted to since they did for Fetch. Honestly it was a strange pivot especially since Cole did have his own 2 game + dlc. But they streamlined Delsin too heavily for him to have a few difference between his borrowed powers but nothing distinctive like dual powers.
Infamous 2 is my favorite game of all time since I ever played it. Such a good gameplay improvement from the first one. Such good story. Aaaa i love it.
If you ask me, the smoking gun that kind of ended inFamous was choosing to use the good ending of infamous 2 as canon moving forward. A third game with Cole as the villain and Delsin desperately trying to gain enough powers to stop him would have been way more interesting and could have added some extra depth to Cole as a would-be savior who chose a darker path to saving humanity. But instead they based their creative choices on trophy data of all things, and as a result, Second Son looks pretty but I can mostly describe it as bootleg X-Men with vaguely infamous-related gameplay. I still like it, but it doesn't hit nearly as hard as the first two games
I wouldnt say that was the smoking gun, I agree this idea would be better but Second Son was in Sony's term, a success and one of their best selling games. The Series didn't die yet, Sucker Punch just wanted to move on and make a different game/series, which is now Ghost of Tsushima
@@Slushie2001 Nah it felt like it was because of how SP handled Cole from even before inFamous 2's release ( he had a new face and voice entirely). Cole was never a problem and was a good centre point with characters around him adding flavour, but for Delsin he is meant to be the flavour in a distopian future for conduits yet he still has an evil pathway that just doesn't work for his character. SP killed the series because they didn't want Cole, but they should have chosen the evil path in 2 and switched to Delsin if they were so diehard on moving away since they say the path line players chose 1st time is why "good" was their canon ending which was just a terrible idea given the whole point of what and who Cole is meant to be given he's a time augmented character. They chose a cliff hanger ending to wash their hands at the cost of creative outlets (since not all conduits died??). SP could always work on 2 IP's tho, no need to be like Guerrilla Games, Insomniac and Naughty Dog to only work on 1 title at a time but that might just be a Sony mandate. But they've done well with their titles before and since inFamous but it doesn't deserve to be on the ice like DMC was
10:37 I would like Sucker Punch to challenge themselves to make a alternate inFamous game were the protagonist has to fight against Cole, who became the new Beast.
If the last of us succeeds on HBO, I think Sony should really consider a bandersnatch-type infamous story. Could become a hero or villain with choices in a movie
Infamous was so influential in my life. This game series will always be my all time favorites. So much so I still have Cole’s Backpack and two copies of Infamous 2, one for playing the other one still sealed. And inFAMOUS 1 is so important to me ❤️. Both inFAMOUS and inFAMOUS 2 are the gems of gaming for me ❤️
Sucker Punch has become a beloved developer for me ever since I fell in love with Infamous back in '09. While I have no problem with them moving onto other projects, I feel like I speak for a lot of other Infamous fans when I say that we need at least one more game from them. If you want to move on from Infamous from that point onwards then fine, but Second Son really felt like it was setting up this larger universe with the aftermath of Cole MacGrath's death and knowing the fact that the community's decision on what ending they ultimately chose in the 2nd game influenced where the story headed afterwards was really really cool. That alone should be the reason they should continue.
I’m on 0:04 into this video but I just wanted to say infamous 2 is the greatest game I have ever played. It was the first game I bought. I started on play station 2 playing Spyro. It’s been 15 years since and I’ve played hundreds of games all throughout my consoles from my ps2 to my ps5 and but still no matter infamous 2 will forever be the greatest game ever made for me.
Think it’s interesting that despite ghost of Tsushima giving the illusion of player choice (at least it felt like it did to me) with either honouring you way of the samurai and remaining honorable, vs embracing the new ways of war given to you by yuna and doing whatever it takes to win, the game still felt like it forced you to play in the ghost mode, I felt a little disappointed that the studio who did infamous, a game famous for character choice with the karma system, couldn’t have made something similar with how to play throughout that game, but maybe it’s just me
Same thing happens in Second Son. It's possible to beat the bridge fight using only smoke, but in the following cutscenes Delsin still says that he lied about neon
Tbh the mongols forced you. Beyond some of the missions forcing you to stealth to rescue folks, there’s no logical way regular players are going to walk into some insanely packed mongol strongholds katana blazed lol
@@TriggeringOpinionsandFacts I did, I played the game multiple times so I got pretty good at the game. I always just used my katana. I lost the game so I can't play it
Good video, but one small issue at 6:14 is that the developers have stated that the good endings of the games are considered canon, not the evil endings. Meaning Cole's story was in fact over after inFamous 2
It's true, the developers themselves said they originally planed the Evil Ending of Infamous 2 to be Canon but because most people chose the Good Ending Sucker Punch change their minds and made the Good Ending Canon instead
You know, I love that even years later there’s still vids about this game, like everytime I search up “clues for infamous 4” there’s hundreds of fresh videos for me to watch, I really hope they bring this back
this channel is just full of nostalgia and the two people I have heard so far have great story telling. Thanks for this. Can we talk Spy Hunter, Vigilante 8, Driver and Resistance fall of man. That game was terrifying
I played all of them near release and 1 has the best story, 2 is the best overall and Second Son is visually and presentation wise the best. I think the series was always missing a little something and they found it with Ghost. It would be interesting to see what their experience with Ghost in a new inFamous game could do.
Infamous 1 was sick, 2 was great as well, second son was such a drastic change in tone and how they dealt with evil and good choices Infamous 1 and 2 evil choices: “save your girlfriend” -evil “Save 3 doctors” - good Second son choices: “Teach the kid to be evil” -evil “Teach the kid to be good” - good (The kid is the kid that has the digital powers) and I’m not exaggerating it’s actually a choice
I cannot stress how much I have wanted to see a true third instalment to infamous. I would love the theorised story surrounding Kessler and I think, with the karma system in place, it would allow Sucker Punch to create such a sympathetic hero turned villain; was he a coward who refused to take responsibility for the safety of others, or was he a caring and loving father who lost his family to something he couldn't foresee? How did he discover his powers, how did he lose his loved ones, how did he travel back in time, how did take overthrow Alden and cease control of the First Sons? And I would love, absolutely love Infamous 3 to end with the beginning of Infamous 1; "Activation plus six minutes. Pulse is 45, respiration 10. Looking good, Cole". God, it would be so good! I hope Sony and Sucker Punch realise this, because if they remastered Infamous 1 and 2 for the PlayStation 5, before releasing the Infamous 3 I've proposed, it would make them so much money.
Sucker Punch made a huge mistake making the good ending of 2 canon. The evil ending was far more interesting because it was morally gray. Placing Second Son after 2's good ending actually undermines Cole's sacrifice if anything.
Playing it safe killed the series. We loved infamous 1 & 2 because they were so unique at the time of their release. Following up second son with the good ending was the dumbest and worst choice they made.
@bazplayzyt6207 2nd Son is just 1 and 2 all over again. They recreated the game again and instead should have, if they must switch away from Cole, have it be a seasoned Delsin who already knew about his powers, already knew Fetch and the rest he met and have a handle of his powers but most importantly not relegate him to a one at a time power guy. If you must switch protag make it worth it, not just a new gen refresh for the uninitiated. As a guy who picked up inFamous 2 day one moving away from Cole (that they were adamant on doing from the way they attempted to change the character before release) is one thing but for someone already with experience with the series moving to Delsin didn't add anything that wasn't already there. Don't just make a change then forget everything before hand, there was next to nothing tangible about the past, call backs to Kessler, the only thing that even made call backs to Cole were the paper trail that was some kind of dlc and that doesn't function properly now. 2nd simply looks better than 2, but mechanically and story wise doesn't hold up against it at no fault of the game but of the devs and direction. 2nd Son was a launch title, inFamous 2 wasn't and was the second instalment into a game not many people knew about. Heck, most of who played inFamous 1 was on its train since the psn outage as a free game and it banged with a superior follow up with help from Naughty Dog.
Infamous 1 was one of those games i always came across in Walmart and played the hell out of the demo. My brother bought it and we played the hell out of it at home lol.
Infamous 1 was the first one I ever played, but Infamous 2 is by far my favorite. It just stepped things up from the first game in every way and the story was incredible. I need to give Second Son props though, I loved the diversity in powers so much. Was definitely a ton of fun.
I gave Second Son a 2nd chance recently. Basically you’re regaining Coles powers. It’s not a horrible concept, but the touchpad controls are not a good choice. The lack of smoke also is a huge annoyance. The story is just very fast paced throwing you in. Infamous 1 & 2 are so well made, and theres just so much to do. Hoping the same with second son.
Second Son was my first Infamous game. I bought it for $10 and couldn't believe how I got such a good game for so little money. I would love another Infamous game, but I'd also love a Ghost of Tsushima sequel, especially for Legends mode.
Infamous will always be miss by me and the gamers who play it and will be remembered as one of the best superhero video game that came out years ago in game history and great video Button Mash :]
Infamous is by far my favorite game on the PS3, imean it's kickass dashboard screen music is reason alone haha. And I actually got it free because... uh, think it was because they got hacked and let you pick from a few games to get free. But could be wrong on that.
ur right they gave it away for free for a while, dont know if it was cause of the hack or not but the timeline adds up in my head. and boy im glad they did cause 1 and 2 were some of my favorite games
@@scooynilo Yeah sony got hacked and took everything down for like a month, which was crazy as you couldn't even contact your psn friends or go to the playstation store. So as an apology they let everybody download Infamous 1, Wipeout, Little Big Planet 1, or Dead Nation.
I played the first game when it came out and fell in love with it, I remember playing the demo at Walmart while waiting on my mom to do something and saved up for a different game. Needless to say I left with infamous that day and was not disappointed! I hope they bring back the game for another entry!
Sharing a name with this cool ass protagonist ( I1 and I2 ) , has made me feel like a bad ass. I loved infamous 2 and has so many fond memories. I remember seeing a trailer for infamous 2 where Cole had hair and I’ve wanted that skin for the longest time. Wish they made that a DLC :,)
I loved Infamous 2!!! It's one of my favorite games. I started playing second son last month but lost interest so I'm actually playing infamous 1 right now.
Bro Infamous was my favorite game before i played The Witcher 3, I loved all of them, the good and bad system was so fun, The Witcher and Infamous are the only games i pre-ordered, it's a shame and something i don't understand when a successful series stop like that, I hope they release at least one last version or continue with more versions of the game like CD project with The Witcher. Great video
I wish you would have mentioned how them giving away infamous 1. After the PSN failure affected infamous 2. 2 is my favorite in the series but I played one because I got it for free from that.
I still got my Infamous Game straight from Blockbuster, where they accidentally didn't put it as a rented game but rather bought it for rent price. That one memory is such a golden era of my childhood where it Kickstarted my love for video games, even experienced the release of BF3 waiting outside of Best Buy, earning a BF3 Tshirt...life was just so much better back then...
Infamous 1 was mind blowing to me. Having that kind of power in a game with the dark tone was something really special. I still remember the day I traded in a few games to get it. I spent the next week getting the platinum trophy and loving every minute of it.
infamous never fell off, sucker punch just moved onto new ideas, ghosts of tsushima is a masterpiece and we're due a sequel anyday now. we can only hope sucker punch will return after they finish work on GoT2
I remember playing infamous 2 back on the PS3. Cole Mcgraph is one of my favorite characters of all time. At the time when I played, I was too young to recognize the weight of his decisions, and the honor in his behavior.
There’s pieces of all of them that I love. The grittiness/darkness of the first game truly felt like a miserable time to be alive, the better mechanics and combat depth of the second game, and the attitude/personality of Delsin from the third game along with his friends. Truly a shame that there hasn’t been a 4th game to wrap it all together. Though I don’t foresee a dark atmosphere ever returning with the Fortnite-ification of games these days.
All the infamous games are good. 2 is my personal favorite, but I enjoyed playing all of them. I didn't love Delson as a character so I would prefer Cole, Fetch, or a new character for a sequel. But I'm down for a new game however they make it.
I grew up on these games from the first game onwards. While I part of me would love to see the return of Cole and his thunder god level powers, I gotta respect in this modern day of constant reboots with increasingly questionable quality, that end of the series is what gives it more meaning and make it more lovable. Flogging the dead cash-cow isn't what I want infamous to be known for, and the devs clearly wanted to keep creative progression going, and did it well with Ghost of Tsushima
Second Son was not the first infamous game I ever played but it was by far one of the most beautiful, fun and downright enjoyable games I’ve ever played. The characters were interesting in their own right, the story was thought-provoking and easy to get invested in and the gameplay was really fantastic. Using the Neon power’s dash to traverse the cityscape at night along with the particle effects, lighting and different settings in the city was an absolute joy. I really REALLY want this game series to come back :(
anytime I revisit infamous feels like I'm in touch with an old friend. The infamous second son city is ridiculously immersive, just to free roam in there feels like time well spent
It is easy to say that the newer game is better when clearly Infamous First Light and Second Son was blessed with PS4 tech, unlike Infamous One. I am pretty sure if Infamous One was somehow remastered to look and play with the LATEST tech. It would be a 'better' game.
Sly Cooper should come back as a show or movie or cartoon. Infamous should get more comics or its own animated series. And they should def put all their attention into Ghost of Tsushima 2 right now. THEN make another Infamous. And then maybe Slyper Cooper. And im saying this as someone that likes Sly and Infamous more. (Bring back Cole) I just know whatll make them the most mobey rn. And Ghost of Tsushima is a goldmind that they should keep doing.
I would love to have seen another game after SS, as I don’t feel like it’s a satisfying end to the series. It just feels like they opened a new set of chapters but only published one. That said, I wouldn’t want them to create a sequel unless their hearts were in it. I can respect a Dev that doesn’t do cash grands
Infamous was the first ps3 game I ever played. I remember it coming bundled with Batman Arkham Asylum, and playing the hell out of both of those games. But Infamous was different, I've never played anything as smooth as Infamous before. And from that day forward, I've been a fan of Infamous ever since. I love love love Infamous, and I hope that it comes back one day. It's too good of a series to let fade away.
Everything sucker punch does is pure gold. I've played infamous (1), infamous second son (also first light), and ghost of tsushima. These are some of my favorite games ever. Infamous second son is incredibly fun. First light is also very fun, I can't believe it had bad reviews, maybe because it was too short? For me the funnest power (which is not necessarily the most powerful power) was light, so I really enjoyed the first light spin-off.
I've been gaming 40 years now. And cole was my favorite superhero game to this day. I really love the story. And the progression. I was sad to see him die on part 3. So had a hard time playing second son. I actually grew a bond with cole. Still hoping they make a remaster. Thats why im here. A friend asked me what was my favorite game on ps3. And this is the game i remember the most. Rip cole😢
Infamous 1 should get a remake honestly. And if sucker punch won’t do it then Maybe by Blupoint games will. That first infamous game is a masterpiece and one of the greatest super hero games of all time.
For me, personally; I didn't appreciated when the voice actors for Cole MacGrath was changed. Everybody wanted the new one when clearly the old one should have stayed in place!
The 1st infamous will always be my favorite, i love the grittiness of the city and its art style, was defo one of the best IPs from ps3 generation. Would be amazing to see a remaster, all the lighting effects would look unreal on current gen

@Ace7of7Hearts ok nah I get what you mean now lmao
Yeah that leap was crazy definitely.
I can see how it likely won't happen again any time soon
Fingers crossed we get to find out
There didn't seem to be many civilians to injure, or around when a fight happens, or maybe because I played good karma I didn't pay attention.
@@DJVideso oh lord in Infamous 1 the one im playing right now cause of ps+ there are many, i killed so many civillians accidently cause they just run into my lightning is INSANE
@@Greenfire_ I unfortunately never had a chance to play the first, but I've played the second.
I played that one to and i know what you mean they despawn or something once a fight starts
I'll die on this hill but First Light has got to be one of the best DLCs to ever come out for any game. Got it for free but I had so much fun playing it
Awhile back I blasted through it in three hours and it was a thrillride. Arguably more fun than second son.
I loved second son but never played First Light…sounds like I need to give it a go!
Not rly, most of the fun part was the arena which I wasted hours on
First light is what i think a DC Flash game would be like😅
Was my first platinum.
Yea the festival of blood was my jam. I miss playing with cole
I was so upset I never got to play this one. I bought the infamous 1/2 combo pack new from a box store and the DLC code for Festival of Blood was already expired. Sony support wouldn't give it to me when I called
@@bloodbane93 If you get psnow I think you can play it
Good yeah festival of blood was dope
inFamous 2 was really impressive in retrospect, you could destroy entire warehouses during those Ice Titan battles lol. They deffo need a remake or at least a port.
This game was so bad ass lol. I check about once a year to see if it's been re released yet lol. I want it on PC ha ha
Dude omg yes! I REMEMBER THAT, and to think that 8 yr old me wasn't gonna choose infamous at first. Very glad I did cause man this series is amazing.
How I got the game originally as well
YUUUP
Same
This is exactly how I got it aswell
I didn't think it ever fell off. All the games were fantastic. Sometimes it's just time to do something new.
And time to bring it back.
Basically fell off
Really want the Infamous franchise back. Infamous was amazing! Love Cole Mcgrath's story, comics, and his powers!
The First one is so underrated.
agreed. the original was best
I never noticed how the weather changed depending on your karma, but I did love how Good and Bad had Blue and Red as their respective electricity colors.
I loved those games. A bit disappointed by second son, but the story and gameplay were all great. I really hope these games get revisited.
I was so confused as to why they give us the concrete power after the game is already over...
@@maineman5757 and it didn’t have a supermove
@@maineman5757 yea the map was to small and there just wasn’t enough content
The graphics were insane tho
@@maineman5757 A lot of things about 2nd Son was confusing, and they could have just done an actual Delsin dlc if they wanted to since they did for Fetch. Honestly it was a strange pivot especially since Cole did have his own 2 game + dlc. But they streamlined Delsin too heavily for him to have a few difference between his borrowed powers but nothing distinctive like dual powers.
Infamous 2 is my favorite game of all time since I ever played it.
Such a good gameplay improvement from the first one.
Such good story.
Aaaa
i love it.
I feel the same bro
Agreed!
I wouldnt say that was the smoking gun, I agree this idea would be better but Second Son was in Sony's term, a success and one of their best selling games. The Series didn't die yet, Sucker Punch just wanted to move on and make a different game/series, which is now Ghost of Tsushima
My guy you rather have Zeke die for a third game with cole?
Awful.
Show would be good, but not audience-choice.
No
It should be animated or they shouldn't make it.
@@sirmel11 No.
@@MikefromTexas1 Ok. Lol
Infamous 1 has a special place in my heart. I always played the demo at Walmart while my mom was shopping.
Infamous was so influential in my life. This game series will always be my all time favorites. So much so I still have Cole’s Backpack and two copies of Infamous 2, one for playing the other one still sealed. And inFAMOUS 1 is so important to me ❤️. Both inFAMOUS and inFAMOUS 2 are the gems of gaming for me ❤️
I LOVED InFamous, including the DLCs. Truly hope Sucker Punch releases another one soon.
Infamous 2 was the game that made me hold on to my ps3 for 2 whole years after I thought of finally getting rid of it.
The first Infamous ages amazingly. It gets BETTER with time.
I love Second Son so much. During covid I had a marathon playing all 3 games and second son just stood out the most to me.
Same here. I absolutely loved second son. Got it from one of my friends for my birthday until this day. It's one of my favorite games of all time
Sucker Punch has become a beloved developer for me ever since I fell in love with Infamous back in '09.
I got goosebumps from the Ghost of Tsushima mention. That game is just so fuckin good it hurts.
Not every game needs to have player choice
@@TriggeringOpinionsandFacts I did, I played the game multiple times so I got pretty good at the game. I always just used my katana. I lost the game so I can't play it
@@mikesmith145But it should.
I used to play Infamous Festival of Blood a lot when I was younger. The creator on there was always fun to mess around with
Good video, but one small issue at 6:14 is that the developers have stated that the good endings of the games are considered canon, not the evil endings. Meaning Cole's story was in fact over after inFamous 2
yeah but the lightning strike at the end says otherwise. it's a cliffhanger
It's true, the developers themselves said they originally planed the Evil Ending of Infamous 2 to be Canon but because most people chose the Good Ending Sucker Punch change their minds and made the Good Ending Canon instead
You know, I love that even years later there’s still vids about this game, like everytime I search up “clues for infamous 4” there’s hundreds of fresh videos for me to watch, I really hope they bring this back
Infamous 2 was a blast to play and I dare say might be one of the best games on the Ps3
Alot of games just arent as popular as we thought they were. We might see another infamous game at some point
I like the clip of GoW Ragnarok at 0:19 lol
this channel is just full of nostalgia and the two people I have heard so far have great story telling.
Infamous 1 was sick, 2 was great as well, second son was such a drastic change in tone and how they dealt with evil and good choices
Infamous 1 and 2 evil choices: “save your girlfriend” -evil
“Save 3 doctors” - good
Second son choices:
“Teach the kid to be evil” -evil
“Teach the kid to be good” - good
(The kid is the kid that has the digital powers) and I’m not exaggerating it’s actually a choice
Following up second son with the good ending was the dumbest and worst choice they made.
you are aware of the fact that second son was what got 1 and 2 most of the attention right?
Love inFamous 1 and 2. Cole is one of my favorite superheroes
Infamous and Sly cooper were legit 10/10 games for me. As a poor kid who was blessed with a ps3 this was my entry to gaming
I still remember the weirdness of Cole showing up in Street Fighter x Tekken...
What a time that was!
I rather a series go dormant on a good note than be milked till it’s ruined their reputation (battlefield, ghost recon, etc)
Rise and fall? When did it fall?

infamous never fell off, sucker punch just moved onto new ideas, ghosts of tsushima is a masterpiece and we're due a sequel anyday now. we can only hope sucker punch will return after they finish work on GoT2
I remember playing infamous 2 back on the PS3. Cole Mcgraph is one of my favorite characters of all time. At the time when I played, I was too young to recognize the weight of his decisions, and the honor in his behavior.
The series definitely were creative with the portrayal of some of the most obscure powers. Smoke and neon/light? So cool.
it didn't really fall tho, they've just taken a break to focus on new IP's (Ghost of Tushima)
They haven’t taken a break. The devs literally said they’re tired of superhero games now.
@@mrpopo5097 which is why they've taken a break mate
This game would make such a good movie/TV series. Sony and marvel need to do this together!
Man, if they brought this series back, it would be so successful.
They could just do second son again, another reboot(ish)
9:55 is what you're looking for, guys. The other is just the history of Infamous series.
one of the reason why second sun is the most selling copies is bcs its one of the games for ps4 and the console recently just came out.
Infamous Second Son and First Light were fantastic. My favorites of the series I must say.
PLEASE BRING INFAMOUS BACK I dead used to sit up all night and play these throughout middle school & highschool 😮💨💯
Infamous Reboot
(Bring back Cole)
I just know whatll make them the most mobey rn.
I would sacrifice ghost of yotei for infamous 4 in a heartbeat
I need a remastering of the first two games cuz i never got to play them and I looooveeed Second Son 😭
i have 1 and 2 for my ps3 i can tell you they are so good
"What The Hell Happened To The Infamous Series??"
"It became unfamous."
Infamous 2 is in my top 10 best games of all time 😭
Infamous was the first ps3 game I ever played.
