Question of the Day 💡 How many videos have you made on your smartphone? Let me know. ** Watch our Video on How to Get Better Video Quality with Your Phone HERE ➡️ ua-cam.com/video/AX7mBdXWep4/v-deo.html
I’ve made close to 50 videos counting shorts. I use the Deity lav mic and feel for my videos it has sounded the best. I also have a Movo vxr10 that I’ve tried to use as a boom mic but every extension cable I’ve tried has a low end hum. As for this video, first of all that was an excellent demo and comparison of all the different mics. For my budget, again I like the lab mic and boom mic. One question is are you using anything to set the gain on the mics on the smartphone? I have struggled with getting the gain and volume set correctly.
Do you (or anyone?) have any idea why my audio would sound *worse* after upgrading to a Rode VideoMicro with a TRS to TRRS cable, plugged into a TRRS to USB-C adapter, on Android? The sound is much more muffled and even distorted.
A little Constructive criticism, I really like your channels content but I have watched a lot of your videos and been apart of your youtube impact challenges and I am sorry to say but you guys end up sounding more like a Brocken record. I know you guys have found some really awesome strategies and tips that are great to stick with but maybe you can try finding out some new ideas and incorporating some into future videos? I just feel like whenever I watch your videos it is just a repeat of other videos in a different order. I have even bought every some of your guides and have been a bit disappointed in seeing that it was all information that I had heard from you before. I was hopping for some new information. Not trying to be mean just trying to give a suggestion. I hope you will take my suggestion to heart. Thank you for making really helpful content. Hope you have a great day.
More excellent content from Omar, thank you. I like the sound of the boomed mic, though the Rode Go is of big interest to me as I want to have more flexibility of options for filming outdoors, So I might be making that investment in the next couple of weeks!!
I would love a video about how you guys input those funny movie clips !! Are their only certain movie clips that are not copyrighted ? how do you find them ??
Awesome video! Just what I was looking for on a review for a new mic for my smartphone. My favourite has to be the Deity D4 Mini mic as it sounds the clearest with not too much bass and has a nice tone too. Your voice has a nice soothing tone which sounds great. Love the helpful videos from Think Media :)

Great video. Just what I was looking for. What would you recommend if I was shooting 3-4 people in an interview type of situation? I think the more people I have the farther I need to get, so I’m looking for a better solution for 3-4 people talking.
We used to use a wired lav like the diety. Bit the bullet and got the rode go a while back. Then bought the go 2 when it came out. We use it for everything now. Omar had the go too far from his mouth in our opinion - better on the lapel - higher on chest at least. But he's right. It's excellent.
@@BrigitteBeckley I thought so too that it should have been closer. One day I’ll take the hit and just purchase the rode wireless or put it in my cart and have my son “ accidentally “ hit the buy now button lol
