- In this video you can come along with me on my Orkney Mainland - Visit Scotland - Mini Adventure. I didn't intend to film anything to show on UA-cam initially, but decided part way through the trip that I should try to put something together to show you some of the mini adventures I get up to when I am not in the workshop! The videography will improve - I promise. This was my first ever visit in March 2022.
This isn't a woodturning or woodworking video. There is a voice over but if you dont want to hear me telling you all about it then turn the sound down and just enjoy the sights!
I will go back to Orkney to explore the other islands during puffin season (!) but will be back in the workshop for my next video! I had hoped to pick up ideas and inspiration for some workshop projects and Orkney did not disappoint! Lots of ideas coming up. Enjoy the trip!

Ohhhh Claire 😱😱 Wow this was absolutely incredible ! I had no idea about the stones in Orkney ... and those houses I cannot wait to go ! What a stunning olace thanks for bringing us along ! I would also be up on the deck ... especially in that weather ! Lol being inside would make the journey so much worse ! Lol

Great mini trek and properly informative too. I like the way they leave a torch so you can look around the cairn, nice touch.... did you sign the wet concrete at the Italian POW chapel?? 😁👍
You know me so well - wanted to run up it 🤣 but nah, I was well behaved. It was a fun video to make and yeah the torch was a nice touch but could do with some new batteries 🤣 🥰🌲🦊🌲
