Hello Coach Justin, I was just wondering if you had made a list of videos for people who have never played baseball before and don't know much about baseball but would like to play. In my case i have never played baseball before I am in college and I really want to play but don't know were to start or if it is even possible to play because i have no back ground in baseball if you could answer my question I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
Thanks for the video. I heard something about “the shape of pitches”. I’ve never heard that phrase before until today. I can’t find any info on it, but it was mentioned by an ex-Padre player that got traded. Does anyone have any info on it?
You have to pronate after release or you will have a very short career and a messed up elbow for life. Luckily, pronation occurs naturally when you throw and your arm moves across your body. You can slowly feel what it's like to throw with a supinated arm. Slowly make a pitch, but after release have your palm turned upwards. That is how kids hurt their elbows trying to throw a slider and they try and add sidespin by flicking their wrists, supinating the arm at release causing elbow damage.
Not a pitcher but as a catcher I also found this video informative because of the new information I can use to help my pitchers. Always something for anyone in these videos. Good stuff
Nolan Ryan had a secret pitch. It was called the 108 M.P.H. fastball. Great video guys! I just had to be a wisenheimer with my "Ryan joke." But seriously, nice job on this video. And, do you think Ryan actually got up to 108? Some think so, but maybe not. We do know, however, that The Cuban Missile got up to 105. Either way, that pretty fast if you ask me.

You still got any 2 years later?
Would have been more helpful if you would have shown a lot more close ups of finger placement on the ball.
I will definitely try these pitches thank u so much for the help👍😀

So put more pressure on pointer finger when throwing 2seam? And middle finger for the 4seam?

Awesome video coach justin I always wanted to know how to throw a curveball
Do you think lefty's should pronate as well?

Can I see where to put my fingers? I can’t see where you put them on the change up

You have to make it look like a backwards c to make it agfect the pitch.
Good videos my amigos . Best sport ever,. Z
Are you zack wheeler?
Make the ultimate night or factories
Was this by a camp site
This video would have been much more effective if you had actually thrown the pitches and recorded them in super slow motion.
Did you realize that you are showing us grips on the baseball from the other side of the room and we can’t see them?
Those are all meatball pitches.... The slider is the pitch to master. Hardest pitch to hit.
