there ya go speaking facts again...spot on coach! WAIT FOR THE BALL...hard to do. My son 13U doing good against gas throwers but when they drop in off speed or breaking he's way out front or going against slower pitchers. I told him pick one and wait...you'll see it and then you have to capitalize on it when you do. He picked fastball lol. Also, the importance of watching the pitcher at warmups, and in game is an absolute must. When in the count is he throwing off speed/breaking, how often, is it a pitched strike when he does etc.
