omfg, for whatever reason I groked this as "Command the Dreadhorde" Control - Vintage I was so baffled about spending 6 for like, a Dak Fayden and a Slash Panther
Was outcome drawing double the correct number of cards OP bounced 4 artifacts and drew 8 cards then did it again and went from 5 to 13 cards Is it bugged?
I mean, that is completly depending on what you like to play. If you just want to play Standard and Brawl with a non rotating format on the way, just play arena. If you want anything else play modo. Best case, use both.
In case the 1st one was destroyed, even tho it seemed unlikely. The second one wasn’t doing anything else anyway and they weren’t doing anything else with the turn either. Basically a why not kind of play.
31:27 I think you should actually use the force of negation here since it doesn't cost a life and it exiles mana drain meaning snapcaster mage can't hit it in the future.
I think you shouldn't use the force of negation because your opponent would call a judge for casting force of negation for its alternate cost during your own turn
@@canman87 Seriously the same 4 or 5 blue spells being cast over and over again is fun? Sorry. I understand it's a boring format. Nothing else to say here.
@@ManaDrain315 What is fun about it? If you have enough money, you can afford enough of the necessary blue cards to make this format playable? Sounds super fun. Try EDH. You can play with a lot of these cards too but they aren't restricted. Nor are they restricted to income.
@@3sts246 Playing Vintage on MTGO is way more accessible than paper EDH. It'll never be as fun as paper Magic, but outside of maybe 500 people in the world, who is actually actively playing paper Vintage anymore? I get that you don't think this looks like fun, but you don't need to shit all over it for the people that enjoy it. Personally, I think EDH is the scourge of Magic that attracts the most stereotypical neckbeard, socially awkward types that can't hack it in a tournament environment... yet I don't tell them it isn't a real format or whatever. They can play whatever the hell they want.
Round 1: 01:54
Round 2: 14:04
Round 3: 22:08

Its that kind of thought process that gets you into the Hall of Fame.
vintage is incredible magic.
Rhystic Studies yup
Vintage is my favorite format that I absolutely cannot afford to play, but man is it fun to watch.
Vintage is dirt cheap online for the most part. It really isnt that unaffordable especially if you already have fetches from other formats.
@@Luckingsworth Yeah, Vintage Masters did a great job with driving down prices. It's also a testament to how fucked the reserved list is.
@@iPhone4Gaddict most things compared to the price of paper vintage are "not too bad" though lol
It seems to be cheaper than modern or legacy on mtgo
@@namename8004 We are talking about MTG, though, where a competitive deck in almost any format costs like 500 dollars on the low-end.
watching any LSV content is awesome. LSV is an instant click, great stuff, great magic, great player.
My first reaction to the title was: "Wait, what? There is a control deck that uses Dreadhorde invasion????"
Who here was expecting dreadhorde twins
By the way, really appreciate the recorded, rather than streamed, content :)
Me too, i think the stream is annoying
I heared mull to 5 is okay If you opponent timespirals without winning
I'm a big fan of vintage content, thanks LSV!
Great content, as always! LSV is good at explaining all the interactions and strategies he is thinking about to keep the viewers interested.
These videos are always a treat! I'd be so happy if one came out monthly or every other money!!
omfg, for whatever reason I groked this as "Command the Dreadhorde" Control - Vintage

Slash Panther? Man, this ain't 2011 Vintage anymore, lol.
those were the days
I love the vintage content recently! Please continue!
Awesome video. Please do more vintage gameplays.
1:00:26 needs 1 spell to kill them bottoms the lethal stony
Wow that first game was an insane turn around
You may not have Fire // Ice, but Pyroblast does a good impression as far as Dack emblems are concerned.
Yas! More vintage!
Timespiral -> Punt
I paused NXT on USA for this
"kinda got murdered last one" oh boy.
Fate seal. It's the stuff that... seals your fate.
9:33 Dak Fayden utterly dominates this game.
43:00 ...and Dreadhorde Arcanist utterly dominates this one.
Is there anything better than watching lsv vintage while eating breakfast/lunch?
I can appriciate a decklist with 3 Tundra Wolf lands.
Does anyone think splashing black for thoughtseize would make sense? Great efficient disruption for the dreadhorde arcanist to flashback
R2 last game you could have go :
Lotus for WWW, Mox cast Teferi -3 on the mox, fetch Volc, cast Dack +1 into something.
I feel like you need some wear//tear in the sb, doesn't all fragmentize make you super vulnerable to chalice on 1?
Chalice is restricted, so it doesn't come that often, and when shops players play it, its often on 0 anyways
LSV is high octane gasss
Why have 2 fastbond in play? What am i missing?
Vitage is reale ineresting
No JTMS?
Was outcome drawing double the correct number of cards

Is it bugged?
I mean... he bounced 4 and thus drew 4. 4+4=8. Same as afterwards, 5+4+4=13. U drunk mate? Lol
Slapcaster Mage
LSV do you thing i should invest on MTGO or completly change to MTGA.
Best Regards

OK, but why would you ever play a second fastbond?
new lsv vid!
i cant believe thalia is vintage legal! Kappa
Why did that first opponent play 2 fastbonds?

@@christosmenemenlis7596 ah you are right. thank you for pointing that out.
Why is preordain played more often than brainstorm and ponder?
valibe94 Brainstorm and Ponder are both Restricted in vintage
B&R list is tech.
Steven Rockford oh wow, thx
"My lotus is prettier."

Could be a dumb question but why Stony Silence over Null Rod? Isn’t Null Rod better?
Because of workshop, moxes, vault-key, tinker, etc., there is more artifact hate in vintage than enchantment hate
As mentioned, Rod is way more vulnerable and outside of Nature's Claim, most people aren't really equipped to handle an enchantment.
Ah okay that makes sense thx
Worst time spiral ever game 1 match 1
Realy live vitage play
cant brainstorm because of narset... each opponent...
My Lotus is prettier. Nuff said.
I did it - I’m first
Who actually thinks this is a fun format?
The people that play it? It's a good time, so long as you understand what it's about.
