• Oil paints "Nevskaya palitra"
• Frosted acrylic panel
• Paint thinner (odorless mineral spirits)
• Medium (stand linseed oil)
• Brushes
• Glass palette
• Palette knife
• Paper towels (or tissues that I use to wipe the brushes)

Awesome! I’m just learning to paint too! When I was looking for tutorials, I found Yupari Artist on UA-cam. He has step by step beginner painting videos. Hope this helps :)

Stephy nah, that’s toxic behavior, plus she can’t even explore it on her own, but he has to join in. Art isn’t about a parent restricting and then making it about them.
This is parentified behavior. Not good at all! What other areas of her life is he so hyper controlling over if she can’t even enjoy a hobby without him allowing her to?!
Plus he only agreed after seeing a very skilled painter which means he is not realistic in his view of art for a beginner. The father needs therapy and not a painting hobby first.
WHY ARE YOU SO AMAZING AT PAINTING? I honestly have never seen such amazing art in my life. This inspires me to do art again.

Your the best portrait painter on UA-cam, others up close you can tell it's a painting. Yours though up close, look smooth, soft, blended well and most of all real

I primarily work in watercolor and have recently decided to try oil painting. I find the glimpses of your palette and mixing your colors to be really helpful. Laying down many colors in one wet layer like this is a very different approach compared to watercolors, and I appreciate seeing how you did it. You do such a great job isolating the different colors/values throughout the face. I also love the soft pink brush strokes you added at the end, adding a more free abstract feel to the beautiful realistic portrait. I look forward to seeing more from you :)
