Thank you for watching! Great to have you here. Re. brands, the ones listed in the description box are a good place to start. Personally I prefer companies with smart, research-backed formulations and ingredients. They’re not always the ones who shout the loudest!

Glynac, N acetyl cysteine and Glycine combined are amazing. Green tea is amazing to. But unfortunately the biggest factor in aging is decline of estrogen and menopause. I do like Q10 and astaxanthin and the better than any supplements is using sunscreen everyday and start as early as you can. I'm 43 and have skin as good as when I was 30. Great video with supporting studies.

This was so helpful! One question if you have time: Would it be OK to take an oral Pycenegol supplement if you are also applying topically? I just got Pycenegol 5% from The Ordinary but would like to star taking the supplement too. Thank you!

Studies suggest that our skin can absorb Pycnogenol-even though it’s likely to be in very small amounts-so I would proceed with caution. Also, make sure you check with your doctor before you start any new supplements. Thank you for watching!

Thank you so much for sharing this info 💯
I really struggle understanding nutrition. So I eat a healthy diet, and I eat whenever I’m hungry and I’ll stop when I feel satiated. I don’t like to overeat or feeling stuffed. So what my brain cannot grasp is that I would need to eat a lobster, 7 fishes, 19 lbs of vegetables, half a cow, and probably 5 pounds of fruit too, daily, in order to get the basic amount of nutrients this body needs to function. How in the world one could do this without supplements??!

Thank you for watching! Supplements aren’t essential, but they can certainly be a useful tool

I wouldn’t recommend it! Choose one, stick with it for at least 3 months, and then judge if it’s working for you. Before-and-after selfies can be really helpful here. And of course, whichever you choose, check in with your doctor before you start any new supplements 👍

Thank you for recommending I research serrapeptase. I did. I noted that it helps with pain, inflammation, and many other ailments including scarring which I had asked you about. I'm now taking it and my inflammation pain from arthritis in my hip is gone. I'm thrilled not to be limping anymore. I'm pain free. Had you not recommended I research it I'd never have known so thank you, thank you, thank you!
