Rage for Order was an album that was FAR ahead of its time. Both RFO and The Warning albums are true masterpieces. These albums both showcase an extreme amount of creative diversity and raw talent.
Rage for Order is by far the best Queensryche cd of all time. The atmosphere is incredible, and the more you listen to the album, the more you'll find. Very talented stuff. They were at the height of their creativity at this point. Too bad Geoff's voice isn't like this anymore.
What a great video because this is my favorite Queesnryche CD. It wasn't at first, but now it's my favorite by far. Though the songs themselves aren't as heavy as their other albums, the guitar solos are just killer. Rage and Operation were the peak of Queensryche for me.
"Rage For Order" was my introduction to Queensryche and "Walk In The Shadows" remains one of my favorite songs EVER. So cool to see them putting it together.
i remember picking up "rage" at our "new" local walmart..i was in 8th no maybe 9th grade at the time, been awhile. i remember i had never heard of them, but i was always looking for something new. one listen and i was blown away! still my fav 'ryche lp. oh, and one more thing, my original copy was not a cd.
i & some friends met QR in the OM tour 1988. i told Geoff "u got the best voice dude" he replied.."don't you forget it" he was awesome. Eddie & Michael were all business. Chris was super ski high on something and a nice guy, all smiles. And Scott was on a mission to bed my girlfriend, (wow!) he failed.
CRAZY vid...it's like the camera LITERALLY caught Geoff as he was doing the vox for the album...the part they show is EXACTLY as it is on the album...(trust me, I've dissected this record...) Fantastic.
my FAVORITE Queensryche album! Extremely rare vid here, THANK YOU so much for posting! And this piece confirms that this album was one of the most strongest AND creative/expiramental Ryche album out there!
Wow, extemely rare footage, very cool! I agree with the previous comment about how ahead of its time this album was, in terms of production, sound, atmosphere. Think about the other things being released in 1986...it was so different. Brilliant album!!!
Who among us hasn't sat in a darkened room and just listened to I Will Remember and not been moved by it. Side B in particular was very moody...right from the beginning of Neue Regel.
@@CyanideLV yeah well that would be Cool, BUT my channel is small like 150 subscribers. anyway Glad there is Rocker out there that still Like 80's Metal
So do I. I read an interview with Chris and Geoff saying the band was reading novels about vampires and futuristic stuff at that time. Saw them on this tour with ACDC.
I can't agree more..This album is incredibly atmospheric. If you look at the Ryche catalog, so much of their earlier material sounds a bit dated. Rage is just as fresh now as it was 20 plus years ago. Now they would be called "industrial". This is the pinacle of their creativity..in my humble opinion.
...damn it...in '86 i wasnt into metal, i just heard Heart, Julian Lennon, Duran, Mr.Mister, shit i missed it. Not until '88 someone hit me w/a Operation Mindcrime tape and the rest is history...
I disagree. I've heard Geoff in concert at a small live venue and his voice is as birlliant as ever. I find it gets darker and sexier as he gets older. Listen to their new "Take Cover" album and you will see.
They would have never survived without mindctime or empire which is a diappointment in itself the first three albums were great that style progressive gothic mettal without those albums you would not have bands like dream theater or pagans mind. Im not a fan of mind crime or empire might as well be disco metal the early albums had a vibe both. Queeryche and rising force could have composed ultra epic pieces like sympony x and adagio. Create today they were ahead of their time
He was untouchable at this time. A once in a lifetime voice.

always the most unique album in rock history

1251wire that’s an awesome story!! I think Chris was dabbling with heroin and Eddie & Michael had/have a complex.

Fantastic.
this is imo the greatest testament to why he was the best ever,,, who the fuck can go and sing somthing like this in one take....

Never have seen this! Ty for sharing. Love seeing them so young and working on my fav QR cd!
Thank you so much for posting this!
1986 i was in another mind setting...simple minds, Heart, Genesis. Too bad i missed this until 1988 when I got introduced to Queensryche/Heavy Metal.
THANK YOU SOM MUCH FOR POSTING THIS!!!

So do I. I read an interview with Chris and Geoff saying the band was reading novels about vampires and futuristic stuff at that time. Saw them on this tour with ACDC.
this album was so way ahead of his time 24 years ago that still it is today.
Saw the Rage tour twice once as a headliner and as a opening act they were FLAWLESS🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Marshall amps always the key to a great guitar tones
my favorite album. jeanluc GALIANA

I don't find it unfortunate that they're underrated.

Their best work IMO
seattle=best bands in the USA ever
Eddie Jackson is fuckin awesome!
Neil is quite the producer. Nowadays he is the producer for multiple death metal bands. as well as nevermore.
Those Kramers were Killer!!!
i agree with you.. same happened to me until i heard john arch from fates warning sing..
My favorite Queensryche album too. Too far ahead of it's time to be fully apreciated.

Still an album from the future.
I dislike geoff's mullet in the video for Stars. I just guess it was "in" at the time:)
Look closer

The Mullet Vampires Queensryche.
I think I added another 1000 views to this one

Agreed agreed agreed. They changed my life as well h0d3d0.
Gather all the videos of him singing those early album's and sell them. I think that be awsome to watch.
