After we go extinct, it will be regarded by alien historianz az the hi point in human muzik. (unless they discover that Queensryche wuz really alienz.)
@@ClarenceDoskocil Are you sure it's overdubs or it is Chris Degarmo doing the backing vocals? I've seen some live footage and Chris can sing close to Geoff and he does even take the lead close to the end of "I will Remember" while Geoff belts out a note. Got to the end of this video and you will hear and see it: ua-cam.com/video/RrSCtjFlsrc/v-deo.html at 3:40 I think
Had. In the 80's, he was the best vocalist on the planet with his power and range. That started going downhill in the very early 90's on the "Empire" tour.
Thanks for posting this! Really cool to see Geoff nail these vocals so easily; they’re all pros - all top-shelf, focused, and dedicated to their craft….even if they’re not still together…what an awesome imprint they made!
Rage for order is a fantastic classic album. Especially the track neue regel is a masterpiece.....after 2 years they recorded their best album of all times Operation Mindcrime
It doesn’t get much better than this. Such a good insight on all members while recording this masterpiece. And Geoff, wow... you had it all. What a presence and what a voice! Please, beam me back!!
Queensryche should hire Neil Kernon again as a producer. His work was impressing!!! There is no other record in heavy metal and hard rock that sounds like Rage for Order. Of course, they should hire Chris too :)
i Saw Geoff just a month ago and knew non of the songs.. his voice throws so powerful your physical body resonates..Its mindblowing to see him live even without Chris and the other original lineup from the ryche
I’m going to see him this week, I am so excited ❤️ I saw him with Queensryche 5x in the 90’s/early 2000s. All amazing shows. He is a master performer ❤️❤️❤️
Absolutely The Warning is the Best. Intense Rock and ROLL tunes. As a drummer, scott rockenfield is absolutely Brilliant. Kicking that ass!!!! Severely underrated. NM156!!!!!!
This album is an enormous MASTERPIECE. ALL songs are incredible GREAT, there is NO weak one on this album. Pro-Musicians gave all their heart to it. And on top it´s PERFECTLY produced by the great NEIL KERNON. Thx to Queensryche and Neil for giving the world such a TREASURE. God bless ém. and by the way: my fave were always: THE WHISPER, THE KILLING WORDS and SCREAMING IN DIGITAL. 🤘😎🤘
It's such a great album this, it's by far my favourite QR album. Its got this dark tech noir feel to it, and even though it's not a concept album for me i like to imagine it's telling a story. Hard to pick the best song as every track is crucial in evoking the mood, but the killing words, walk in the shadows and neue regal are my personal favourites
I don't think this was created by a TV show in North America. I'm very sure this It's an E.P.K. (Electronic Press Kit) or a "Promotional Video" made by their (past) record label (Capital/EMI) & sent out to various TV entertainment media sources for free use in helping them to create a story, by using some clips or show the complete video for a segment on their program. I work on TV. Videos like this still come in every week from Record labels & Film Studios.
@@jonclarkson5911 Well...up until Mindcrime. Warning was a mix engineer snafu based on Orwells' 1984 and computer tech, RFO was a 'loosely based' concept, and of course Mindcrime was obvious.
Back when mullets were done right .. And actually looked cool! The 80s breeded and had a sense of style that may never be recaptured .. R.F.O. was well ahead of its time .. It was like music for DUNE ..
unfortunately, Geoff is one of those metal gods, who over the years almost completely lost their voice...... Steve Grimmett, James Hetfield, Ray Alder etc......
itkojecockot yes but Geoff was a classically trained singer, james hetfeild broke his voice singing back in the 90's and had to learn how to properly sing again which is why his voice is not the same as it was .Geoff ruined his voice by smoking :(
Awesome band and waaay underrated. Everything up through Empire is really good. It's a shame that Tate's ego blew it all up and pretty much caused their downfall. Operation Mindcrime is without a doubt, the best "concept" LP ever done in my opinion (Mindcrime II was a huge disappointment for me). My own biases don't allow me to get into their latest incarnation... maybe one day I will. The new vocalist tries too hard to sound like Tate and doesn't make the stuff he sings his "own." The dude is talented, but he needs to do his own thing with it. I've been a fan of 'Ryche since they popped in the early eighties. I had already been following "Myth," which is when I first heard how badass Geoff Tate's vocals were (if some aren't aware of Myth, they're definitely worth listening to). I mean, all the members of Ryche are outstanding musicians and very good at their respective instruments (De Garmo "sp?" is friggin sic on the guitar). Great material they've done over the years, and we fans have reaped the benefits of it. Like I said, Mindcrime is fantastic, but if I were pinned down as to which LP is the best, I'd lean towards "Rage for Order." It's' delightfully demented, and it set the groundwork for Mindcrime...
Rage for order was waaaaaaaaaaaay ahead of it's time and still is.
After we go extinct, it will be regarded by alien historianz az the hi point in human muzik. (unless they discover that Queensryche wuz really alienz.)
What song and where do you hear them all saying "You Bastard, You Bastard, You Bastard, .............."
@@JO753 the scary thing is they will probably find the Pop & Rap albums first & judge us on those.
Operation Mindcrime is the best album of all time
I miss the days when could actually buy CD & every song was incredible.
Geoff Tate in his prime was untouchable.
*Geoff's passion and accuracy at the end was cool to watch. That sounded like the actual take used on the album. Great video!*
...without the few overdubs in parts make his voice even more powerful. Incredible.
@@ClarenceDoskocil Are you sure it's overdubs or it is Chris Degarmo doing the backing vocals? Rage for Order is the best Queensryche album period!!!!
The most underrated QR album !!!!
And THE best
Oh hell yeah, it's a friggin beast.
Gerry Kay amen!
Geoff tate has the greatest metal voice of all time .No question
Ripper Owens would like a word with you out back.

@@PlacidDragon Nope. Freddy Mercury was the best.
Neil was the unsung hero of this album. An incredibly produced record
Should've stuck with him. The only flaw of Mindcrime is the slightly distorted and compressed production of the album.
Thanks for posting this! Really cool to see Geoff nail these vocals so easily; they’re all pros - all top-shelf, focused, and dedicated to their craft….even if they’re not still together…what an awesome imprint they made!

WRONG. Rage for order IS the best album in their discography.
I agree...Regel is ridiculously good..."The Killing Words" is the one that I lean towards as being the best during that era. Great stuff.
neue regel iz my fave song ever also!
Purchased the cassette in the summer of 86, blown away by the sound and production, their evolution was special to hear.

Their best album ever when Geoff was in his prime. Whis I could beam myself back in time
Amazing album, amazing video. Thanks for share it!!
Sad Scott, Chris, and Geoff are not even in the band anymore. Just Eddie and Michael, not really QR anymore.
very cool.. wish there was more

This is their best I think.. so revolutionary for 1986.. really fantastic sounding record
1:42. I wish the bass were that prevalent. Wow!! Still, Rage is one of my favorite albums of all time.

My fave album ever!
Awesome, thanks for posting ... their best album for me, not even close.
I love the last part
WHAT ! a Documentary on the album that changed my life !
La mejor voz Geoff Tate ♥️ y la mejor banda del mundo! ..Walk in the shadows..🎼🎸🎸♥️
My 2nd fave Ryche album behind Warning. I want to know more.
THE GREAT AND THE ONLY ONE QUEENSRYCHE 💕
It's definitely up there, but I try to stay away from the "Mumble Crap." The stuff actually makes me sick, lol.
Here in 2021

Best album of all time, The Warning.

GEOFF TATE JUST MADE HIS QR DEBUT ALBUM.HERE HE IS A .METAL GOD ON HIS 1ST ALBUM😎
Goosebumps.
Geoff has the same hair as Ricky from Trailer Park Boys in this video.
Dude, I fuckin love TPB, AND QR
it's funny how the guy with the lowest voice in the band sings the highest vocals
Meraviglioso disco
They can try but they’ll never get a singer as good and versatile as Geoff Tate.
Next release 'Operation
Mindcrime',is best,too.
That's the shit we hear
again and again.
And it gets better and better.
Definitely QR's best non-concept album.
God. This video needs to be 100x longer. Give me a band that was any better than these guys from 84-90
Those guys were so COOL back then! Today they're kind of a dead-beat band.
DieselTrucker 2018 dude seriously check out the new album " The VERDICT " give it a chance , The best Queensryçhe album since Operation Mindcrime.
yeah well Geoff turned into some kind of weird nut job.
Queensryche should gather all the early video's like this and sell them.
GEOFF TATE IS A METAL GOD🤘
Awesome 👌
1) These guys were legit!
2) A train-load of 80s style crashed into them, with catastrophic results! :O
3) They' survived and remained legit!
Imagine the headlining band having to follow Queensryche lol

GEOFF TATE IS THE ONLY TRUE VOICE OF QUEENSRYCHE WITHOUT HIM THIS BAND WOULD OF WENT NOWHERE....
Their best.
At the time was the best produced album up to that point.
is there a Rat on Geoff's head?
Many bands tried to replicate that sound, not to avail. Cyber Metal maybe? I treasure the Lp.
Why is Scott just playing the toms?

James Hetfield?Is he a singer?Dont think so..!!!

GEOFF TATE IS SECOND TO NONE!!
@bneirann chris plus james barton would give them success again
Fucking bands need to stop with the low tunings and go back to standard tuning and 4 string bass.
