I LOVED hearing the stripped down (bare bones) tracking of Walk at the end of the vid. U can really hear what all went into the song underneath the huge processed vocal layering.
Ha thanks for that interview from them, and if today was like yesterday with this cellphone, utub, ect. They would have been even more popular? At 51 l still love to listen to them. Thanks you
THIS WAS AWESOME, I never wanted it to end. I really wish this and every album was released in a box set with demos and this kind of stuff being on it.
I spent some time with Neil Kernan. He is an Amazing yet Down to Earth guy. We were talking about our Favorite Album Productions... I said Rage For Order by Queensryche... He said Well Thankyou Very Much... I replied HAHA. Thankyou very much what ?? Lol.. He replied, I Produced Rage For Order, My quick Retort was Haha Very Funny Mother F@#ker...... Neil... Yes, I produced Rage... I paused and ... What's your Last Name... ? Kernan... What!!? I grabbed my back pack and yanked Rage out and was like Holy Shit... I had forgotten the Producers Name.. and It was him.. so I had just spent a few days on and off hanging out with My Favorite Producer and Didn't even Know.. which was so damn Ironic.. because I was in Seattle for NEVERMORE's Cd Release, Concert, Video Shoot etc.. and the way I met them was over the phone through a good friend and we talked for a good six months at a Constant.. before my friend asked me if I liked knowing the guys in Sanctuary? To which I replied Haha Very Funny MothetWhat are you talking about ? Since Sanctuary had become my Favorite band with Ryche Dio Priest Crimson Glory.. Anyway... To this day I still hear new things in Rage For Order. And of the many things Neil Told me they added, I still haven't found some of those... Like one song where they repeat you bastard you bastard you bastard.... Lol anyway just Rambling. Rage For Order is Truly one I the Greatest Albums of All time and one of my 5 Desert Island Albums... \m/
Walk in the shadows in this video sounds better than any version ever formally released. The dry version sounds so much more tension filled than the album version with all of the reverb. I would pay $50 for a release with this mix!
I really like Eddies bass tone in this video. It has that plucky sound, but it’s still aggressive and heavy. He did a great job all of those years maintaining his sound. I wonder if his right hand fingers actually stretched out over time?
I've always felt that Eddie & Scott are one of the absolute best rhythm sections of all time. Two guys who not only are SO in synch with each other but together they are the bottom end of Ryche's sound. Every note they play perfectly compliment & support all of Ryche's songs. Without their drum & bass foundation there would be no Queensryche.
It's such a great album this, the production isn't quite as good as it feels in these short clips. I was never really sure about the band photos on the album, more normal clothes like here might have been better - but it is in keeping with the cyberpunk feel of the record. It's my favourite metal album of the 80s anyway.
Rage for order best album!!

gonna be doing a review for this Album, I love it also it's just Amazing.
More Rage era bts! This was short but sweet. Such a fun era.
I was a best friend of Eddie's younger brother Dave at this time. What a wonderful flood of
memories this video awoke ! Thank you . 8)
They should make and sell video's of all the early recordings like this. I'd buy them to see these guy's in their prime. NO one better than the Ryche.
Young and hungry!
Interesting to hear the work that goes behind the masterpiece!

Love it!
Rage for Order deserves studio headphones when listening. There is so much shit going on “underneath” that you can’t hear with just speakers.
Amazing band, amazing album - their best imo!!!!

Geoff Tate was untouchable!!!
Elvis never died, he lost some weight , had some skin tightening plastic surgery, changed up his game and his name... The Veil Drops ! GEOFF TATE !
Does Michael Wilton look like Jason Becker in this video?
That hair Geoff 🥴
