Немножко необычный диск Celtic Frost! Но уж не такой плохой, что его все лажают. Просто облегченный вариант данной гр. И он по своему оригинален и заслуживает определённого внимания.
Ведь были и у др. гр. периоды экспериментов, даже более шокирующие

It's like if Bathory or Mercyful Fate decided to sell out and do a hair metal album. Personally I find this album to be somewhat fun. It's just absolutely hilarious they actually did this. Tom G Warrior doing pop metal vocals is just too much.
It's pink, but fun. you level your Diablo 2 character listening to the first two albums, but gear up on the cow level listening to this.
Totaly agree with you. Very exciting, daring (as usual with CF!) and hilarious in some aspects, considering the contrast between Tom's harsh vocals with the groovy hard-rock songs... The infamous photo sessions for that album probably added more damage to the band sell-out reputation.
Nothing pop metal about the vocals... just the unfortunate lyrics

Honestly if this just had better vocals, this would honestly be a killer album, like the music goes hard and everything but Tom can’t do glam metal style vocals lmao
Es exagerada la similitud en la voz con Dave Mustaine, y este álbum es más suave de lo que celtico nos tiene acostumbrados
i hate this disc
Considering what CF did before this ("morbid tales", "to megatherion") , sure it was their weakest and the less inspired one. But honestly, it isn't as terrible as oftenly advertised. Mixing thrash-metal with hard-rock/glam metal has surprisijngly good and goofy results... If you are open-minded and able to listen other styles of music , you will appreciate it. In 1988, CF was a competely different band with Thomas Gabriel Fischer the only member remaining and this dude said he was down of playing "satanic stuff" at that time. People have the right to change their mind but at least, he shouldn't have released it with the CF brand! The backlash from its fanbase was unavoidable and so far, Cold Lake has never been remastered neither republished... An album that Tom G. Warrior has dishowned years later.
Man, this sucks so bad it almost loops around to being kinda good at points.
Worst album of Celtic Frost.
