Conozco,a este grupo, desde hace, mucho ya,y fue, con este pedazo,de álbum tan cojonudo,con el que les conocí,bestialmente,alucinante,es buenísimo,en cuanto a calidad musical,y sonora,y en cuanto a temazos se refiere,una voz lo más de gutural,y que queda muy bien,a sus acompañantes,los guitarristas,el bajista,y el baterista,en conjunto,unos máquinas del death metal,de los mejores, álbumes y grupos, que he oído en mi vida,se salen,aúpa OBITUARY,ahí ahí,cañita,soys parte de mi vida.☠🖕👍🎧👏👏👏👏

Didn't know black swan likes death metal 💀😭

My musical taste followed the members of this band. When they were Entombed, I was all about Death Metal (fun fact: all the Metallica fans at Nerd Camp that I played my music to were like blahhh... except for two bands: Entombed and Sepultura). A decade later I discovered the Hellacopters in my "The Stooges and all bands that sounds like them" phase. But this album is still fucking sweet. Honorable mention to Bolt Throwers' first & second albums.

Saw them back then. Wolverine Blues tour I think it was. Both are sick albums.

Considering what CF did before this ("morbid tales", "to megatherion") , sure it was their weakest and the less inspired one. But honestly, it isn't as terrible as oftenly advertised. Mixing thrash-metal with hard-rock/glam metal has surprisijngly good and goofy results... If you are open-minded and able to listen other styles of music , you will appreciate it. In 1988, CF was a competely different band with Thomas Gabriel Fischer the only member remaining and this dude said he was down of playing "satanic stuff" at that time. People have the right to change their mind but at least, he shouldn't have released it with the CF brand! The backlash from its fanbase was unavoidable and so far, Cold Lake has never been remastered neither republished... An album that Tom G. Warrior has dishowned years later.
