the one you mention is more accurate than the real big 4. I found that metallica megadeth slayer and anthrax dont deserve this title, they all stop doing thrash metal since 1990, except death angel, they never stop doing thrash( ok they stop 14 years before release another album since act 3 but, hey , its better than metallica which have only 3 album thrash metal, and didnt even composed them

Probably the only metal band that gets better with age, it feels like they're learning something from every album.
Hot take: I don't like the first three albums.
My exact sentiment as well! They are better now than they ever were back in the day. The exact opposite of most rock/metal bands lol

I don't agree; The Ultraviolence is their best album of all time IMHO, in spite of its horrible production.
Nevertheless nowadays Death Angel makes great stuff yet and I'm waiting for the studio-follow-up of Humanicide.

I hate to be that guy, but really dude with the Metallica? They're already dead, eviscerated, drawn, quartered, and blown to smithereens, I think they had enough.
Yep. Actually Metallica had better stop after The Black Album; after that Metallica fell down into a kind of sound-poppy-as-hell-and-sell-mousetrap.
Since 1992 this band has only written one good track since then: All Nightmare Long from the Death Magnetic album, and alas that song drowned in an ocean of oblivion because of all other crap; the rest is disappointing at best.
Especially Lars should retire; once his drum skills were almost magic, nowadays they sound like Lars is hammering the steak to make it taste more tenderly.
