Agree. As a returning player, I genuinely thought I was missing something bc it felt no different to seasons. I didn't like the abrupt ending to act 1 at all.
I can only hope the part two and three stuff changes more, because they definitely said it was meant to switch up the season structure…but like you said it’s been the exact same thing as seasons so far
Obviously the main difference is that the season pass can't all be completed at the beginning of the season. Sure you can hit rank 100, but there's still another what, 100 ranks after that?
They have figured it out. They just don’t wanna do the right thing because they want to drip feed you so you buy silver from the shop. The lore is amazing but not in game. It’s all in the description in the items, etc.. the actual story that has been told in Destiny could have been told in two years in any other good game. They took two years of content and stretched it to 10.
