What a treat to find you back. Don’t be locked into doing a video a week just to show you sailing. Just be yourselves and invite us to join your journey with whatever content you choose. Love watching the interactions, life changes, challenges of a new family. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to whatever you decide to post.
Way back in the last decade when you two arrived on the scene, it was obvious you were great content creators up there with the best from the get go. You are personable and always make interesting content with your own unique style. Great to see you back - long live Sailing Soulianis.
Don't feel pressured, the people who enjoy your content will watch regardless of how often the videos come out. Excited to see the projects you guys have.
Just when I thought I couldn't possibly love you any more, you name your boat Heart of Gold! Hitchhiker's Guide is my favorite series and the name is brilliant. So happy to see you and your beautiful family again.
This is so honest, normal, and refreshing to see. So many UA-cam creators get into a niche and feel like they HAVE to stay that one kind of person or creator that gave them that initial online following. But, that isn't real life! People change and grow. And honestly, we came for the sailing but stayed for your personality and genuine love of life. Keep it up and keep loving and enjoying your family. The next 7 years will go faster than you could ever imagine.
Welcome back guys! Kirk you are right - I for one watch the channel for the both of YOU - not just for the sailing. I am looking forward to whatever you care to share with us in the future. You are like my YT best friends and I have missed you. And Renata has gotten so big! I look forward to watching the kids grow over the coming years.
When I saw the name Solianis I jumped on the video and thank goodness it was you guys. I've enjoyed watching your family grow and your respect for each other and how you guys work together. Takes me back to my family's boating time. Projects, that's life. The family that works together stay together. You helped make my day. Thank you.

You two intelligent and witty folks are sorely missed. Your children are beautiful. More, please.
Way back when i think i said that you were the best sailing channel. What you actually were was the most honest, heart warming and throughly enjoyable channel - the sailing bit was just an added extra. So so good to see you back.
I tell my friends all of my projects will be done when I die. I am 75 years young our children are in late 40"s. Believe me they grow up fast. My advice is do not try to do everything at once. Concentrate on your family,. This can include sailing but so many things to do. Now is the time to shape memories for your children. There will be time for other adventures. We are not sailors but explore with a off road RV in the PNW. I do enjoy the concept of a trailerable sailboat. It gives the option to move from one water way to another. Regardless follow your hearts.
So good to see you all again! A lot of us have been here since the early days and enjoy following along regardless of what you’re doing. Keep up the great work and we’ll see you on the next one 🤙
Welcome back! You know a few of the people I follow on UA-cam either quit or slowed down in putting out videos. I live my sailing life through people like you. lol. I wish I did it when I was young so enjoy your life and do the things you wish to do and makes you happy. You won’t regret it later in life.
20 years ago here in Adelaide, South Australia we raced against a yacht named "Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster", but I always fancied Slartibartfast as a possible name.😊 Good choice on your part though.
Delighted to see you back, and with so much joy going on! Good choice for the vessel name. Take your time and savor the journey. Share what you want to. We love you guys.
Oh my gosh - this is the best day in so long! It is amazing to see you guys on your channel again. I missed you two (three, um … now four!!! Congratulations!) I’m relieved and overjoyed to see you happy and healthy. Sending you all the best and can’t wait to catch up on what you’ve been up to. ❤️⛵️
Heart of Gold. So Douglas Addams fans and Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Universe. I can relate as a fan. Thought about renaming my boat that but just kept it the same as the previous owner had. Great minds think alike. No wonder I've been watching your channel since the beginning. Welcome back.
Welcome back, do what feels right to you, enjoy your children, it's the best time of your lives, (although at the moment you are probably too tired to realise it)
So good to see you back. I’m excited to watch whatever videos you make. Your property videos have been some of my favorites so far. Congrats on the new addition to your family!
I always enjoy seeing the 4 of you now, congrats! I am a 65yr old fart in Washington state. You 2 are the example of what young families should strive for. You 2 do what's good for you. Don't stress us missing a video, when you post we get it. Not depending on YT is smart, so keep making good decisions and when you are ready we will be ready for another video. Again Congrats on your new son.
I have quickly scanned some of the other comments and totally agree. You guys will figure out your new scope and we will follow along, no worries. you are 1 of several vloggers who are reimagining their youtube journey
Thank you for making time to get back to us. We enjoy your voices, your style, your plans, your dreams, and your adventures. Good on ya for prioritizing what improvement you wanted most--a new boat name! And you already look so much happier once the new name was in place--and it really POPS! May you always find yourselves fully rested, fully funded, with full tummies and a heart that's overflowing with wonder and joy. Don't stress yourselves about schedules and improvements; your single most important job NOW is raising two healthy and happy children. Patience and tolerance and a gentle method of guiding behavior (theirs AND each others!) will see you through the coming years. And we'll have your backs. Ask when you need ideas or help. Ask when you're going to go traveling if you need destinations and opportunities or assistance. Your followers are everywhere, and we recognize the good people you are. We stand at your side wherever you go. Rick S.
So good to see your smiling faces again! Welcome aboard to your new crewmate. We would all (I think) be just as happy with shorter posts; so long as you're happy to make them, we will enjoy.
Welcome back! I have no idea who you watch on You Tube if anyone but I also watch Sailing GBU. They have recently transitioned to living on land as well. It’s still fun for us “ground pounders” to watch them construct things and do their garden, etc. People change, lives change, you change. Life is not a linear route and curves are constantly being thrown at you; take that from a 70ish person! We still enjoy watching you.
Good to see you all and welcome your son. Love the story behind the name and the new name!! Thanks for the update and looking forward to see the barn construction videos.
Welcome back! No worries on taking time for other things in life --- we ALL have those things!😀(like my 24/7/365 care for my Mom, put everything on the back-burner) BTW, if you're still interested in "earth homes", etc., I have personal/family experience with them, let me know. Fair winds my friends!
I agree with others that essentially you two are the main attraction on this channel, so it’s about who you are, what you do and how you go about it. If your content becomes forced then it won’t be the real you. So sail on to Soulianis and do it your way. Great to see the new “tin lid”
Glad to see you back on the internet congratulations on your new baby boy you're right a lot has happened we met up with you down in boot key harbor and we were also tartan owners look forward to seeing more of you guys in the future we're currently have our boat back in bayfield Wisconsin so hi neighbors from Brenda and John
I don't even remember how I stumbled onto your videos, but was pleasantly surprised to find two awesome folks I spent some time in college skiing with having these amazing adventures. The sporadic check-ins feel like surprise visits and warm hugs from old friends, I'm here regardless of content. And my kiddo is now 7.5 and I can say, watching them discover your passions (and then kick your ass at them), is one of the best pieces of parenting. Cheers guys!
Great to see you back. I always enjoy your content no matter what you’re doing. It’s all about watching your family grow and you doing whatever your passion is for the moment. Your personalities coming through in the videos is what makes them great, regardless of the subject matter. Right now I’m up for some garage building, so bring it on! 😎
Look how many views in a few hours! Obviously, we all love your videos. We'll all keep watching whenever you post. Congrats on the baby, big projects, new boat name, home garden/food forest...all of it! Nice to see you again.
I’ve watched every video you guys have made and I enjoy them a lot. Thanks for sharing your adventures. As encouragement, you are 100% doing the right thing. Enjoy those kids, give them the love and time they need and deserve. Put out videos when you can and everything will be just fine. Keep up the good work.
Missed you guys! I foresee a lot of Neal Young being sung to your boat in the future 😂 Wanted to chime in and say that beyond you guys being so fun to watch, the “thing” that I watch for for that no one else I’ve found has is that you’re not full time salts and you have a trailerable boat. I’m trying to get to where my wife and I can do extended trips on our Hunter 26 water ballast, but always be able to trailer in, out and sonewhere completely different. Thanks for helping me see how that is possible.
Great to see you back. Been following ever since I found you on your Tartan 37. Admittedly it was to steal ideas for mine but your content, personalities, and experiences kept me here. Looking forward to more.
Great to see you again! I see from the comments that half the audience agrees with me that Tritanic is the cheesiest, and therefore best, of the trimaran boat names. If you ever find yourself with a task similar to "remove wooden plaque from boat" again, the tool to use is a router with a straight or mortising bit in it. Just set the depth of cut slightly less that the thickness of your plaque, and you can plow it off from top to bottom and then scrape or sand off the residual. Stay well.😀
We love the inspiration behind Soulianis and Heart of Gold 💛🩵 Life naturally comes with pivots, and as fellow UA-camrs and content creators who used to be internationally traveling before pivoting to buying a boat and doing the Great Loop, to our latest pivot of buying a van and converting it ourselves, we can resonate and understand your challenges of "what is our channel about" and the natural pivots that life takes you on as a couple/family. We thoroughly enjoyed your honesty and transparency in this video 💕
First of all, welcome Mr junior... Lauren, you glow with motherhood... Beautiful... Renata is a really intelligent little person... Kirt measuring the squareness of the name and trying to find level, That is what makes you such a clever innovator... Did you two think you produced a sailing channel... No no no no... You documented a life journey, and we the audience admired yours... At the time, it was in the chapter of adventure sailing... You are still on an adventure, the chapter has opened on a new page... Regardless of what this now chapter unfolds, you are beautiful decent people and a pleasure to follow... If you have a desire to share... Go forth and prosper... 🖖
Appreciate why you left. Welcome back to the next journey, down-home. We brought up our family in the northwest, sailing whenever we could, on the Puget Sound and Canada. It was the perfect solution. The kids got older, graduated, and we moved closer to the job, then moved three more times. We’ve now retired and so very happy we slooowed down when the kids were young and enjoyed sail life. We are land locked in Idaho and love it, back home where I grew up. You 2x2 are doing it right! Stick to your instincts, family first, enjoying life at home with a sailing passion to come ‘when’ you and the family are ready. Good luck and enjoy the homestead, whether on land or on water.
Good to see you!! I figured the new baby, garden, boat, et al, were keeping you busy. I enjoy all your projects and activities. So glad you changed the tri's name!!
loved to hear from u again. Everyone goes through change of plans ... Go ahead but keep posting videos land air or water.. wish u both gala time with two kids.
Glad to see you back. I actually searched yesterday to see if you had posted anything recently. Things do change after you have kids. Post when you have time, we will be waiting.
Gosh it’s great to see you guys. Congratulations on babe #2. The two of you are inspirational and good humans… and every video is worth the wait. Keep on doing what you’re doing with wreckless abandon, you don’t owe us anything. Cheers from Vancouver Island Canada 🙌
Well, we'll be watching you every other week, and that's fine by us. It's terrific to see you guys again, looking forward to the continuation however it is. So happy for the addition on top of the addition! WooT! Thanks for the update, take care, keep safe.
Hey guys I'm so happy that your back!! I need to head to work but had to comment before I go. Couple of thoughts: I started watching your channel way back when and I admit it was for the sailing. But after a while, I quickly realized that it was your personalities that pulled me in. For me, the channel is about you both and your adventures through life and that is enough. Please do not ever change the name as you guys will always be Sailing Soulianis whether on or off the water. Again great to see you, your young family and I wish you all the best. (Thank god for UA-cam notifications!) Andy
Glad to see you all back! I hope you get back on the water, and I'm also intrigued by the mix of water/land that a bunch of sailing channels have been doing recently. Not sure if it's a post-covid reaction (or for you all a very understandable having-tiny-babies thing!) or long-term blend but I appreciate seeing the combination.
Congratulations on your achievements during your absence and looking forward to your future endeavors. There was a channel called 'Free Range Sailing', they sailed around Australia and once they returned to home port, they sold the boat and moved onto a block of land where they are now harvesting their own food and doing land tasks and renamed their channel to 'Free Range Living'. Good to see you back.
So glad to see you again. I hope you jam on paying off your land and house as quickly as possible. Nothing else is going to make your future as do-able as having no long term debt.
Oh it’s sooooooo great to see you(r grown family) again!!!! Can’t wait to see what you have coming. My sailboat was named “ Breakin’ Wind”, named after my daughter. Again, welcome home(back).
Welcome back! Congratulations on adding another precious bundle of joy to your lovely family! Cherish each day with each other. Before you know it they are off to college and you can’t believe how fast time has passed. Thank goodness for FaceTime, my kids are scattered across the U.S. but I still get to see them every day or every other day. Your kids will always be your babies no matter how old they are.
It's really nice to hear from y'all. We've missed you..

Agreed!
yup... Well said man with handle...
Don't feel pressured, the people who enjoy your content will watch regardless of how often the videos come out. Excited to see the projects you guys have.

Hitchhiker's Guide is my favorite series and the name is brilliant. So happy to see you and your beautiful family again.
Agreed 10000000000000000000000000% So cool to find you're also fans of Hitchiker's Guide!

❤❤❤ we follow you for you, regardless of what you're doing

These are the best times of your lives. Maybe sailing will be a part of it.
20 years ago here in Adelaide, South Australia we raced against a yacht named "Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster", but I always fancied Slartibartfast as a possible name.😊 Good choice on your part though.
Thanks for catching us up. We’ve missed you.
Make whatever makes you happy and I’ll enjoy watching it
Delighted to see you back, and with so much joy going on! Good choice for the vessel name. Take your time and savor the journey. Share what you want to. We love you guys.
Your kids are going to love watching these videos as they grow up.
Bless your family, your travels, and your future, glad to see y'all!
10 minutes is a sweet spot for length… your frequency… whatever works. It’s just nice to see you and your burgeoning family. Call it whatever it is.
Oh my gosh - this is the best day in so long! It is amazing to see you guys on your channel again. I missed you two (three, um … now four!!! Congratulations!)
I’m relieved and overjoyed to see you happy and healthy. Sending you all the best and can’t wait to catch up on what you’ve been up to.

Thanks so much 🤗
Heart of Gold. So Douglas Addams fans and Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Universe. I can relate as a fan. Thought about renaming my boat that but just kept it the same as the previous owner had. Great minds think alike. No wonder I've been watching your channel since the beginning. Welcome back.
As a father of 3 I totally understand how busy you are and that’s OK! Priorities change when you have kids
Gold is Good! and so are Hearts!!! Go for it.
Land in the summer, sailing in the south in the winter! Great video, thanks for the update.
Welcome back, do what feels right to you, enjoy your children, it's the best time of your lives, (although at the moment you are probably too tired to realise it)
We get glimpses of the magic through our yawns
We have definitely missed you guys, welcome back. All the Hitchhikers fans will understand the name. ❤
So good to see you back. I’m excited to watch whatever videos you make. Your property videos have been some of my favorites so far. Congrats on the new addition to your family!
Many thanks!

Great to see you back! You have a beautiful family - that is the important thing. I will be following.
Thank you for making time to get back to us. We enjoy your voices, your style, your plans, your dreams, and your adventures. Pressed play as soon as I saw the video ! Always enjoyed your style.. Boat, Van, House - it’s the people, that we watch. 👍
Thank you ☺️
Heart of Soulianis? Name’s fine, so is the barn or aircraft hangar. Renata and baby bro excellent too. You guys are never going to be bored.
or boring
I thought it was going to be Something Soulianis or 42. I was surprised.
So good to see your smiling faces again! Welcome aboard to your new crewmate. We would all (I think) be just as happy with shorter posts; so long as you're happy to make them, we will enjoy.
There‘s so much beauty in your thoughts and words… please don’t ever digress from that ❤
You make the videos and I’ll watch them, one a month or one a year. All good here!
Free Range Sailing, Zingaro
Good to see you all and welcome your son. Love the story behind the name and the new name!! Thanks for the update and looking forward to see the barn construction videos.
Love the name, just remember to always have peanuts, and don’t forget your towel and the peril sensitive sunglasses.
Omg, Soulianis posted. Woohoo!
Glad you are back. Beautiful family. I still enjoy sailing but I am selling my Capri 22. Life goes on. I will keep watching.
Glad you're back! Looking forward to your adventures. Love the boat name and it's origin story.
Yay.....happy to see you two back as a family of four, and I love the idea of a mix of "back to the land" and "adventure sailing" videos.
The minute you bought that boat, I knew this would happen. Have fun with the family and thanks for the vids!
Thanks for the vids AND THE KIDS!! I’m a poet, and don’t know it.
Great to see you back! One of my favorite UA-cam channels! You are very inspiring!
Welcome back🎉 I see your family had grown. Congratulations!
Happy you are back!
Thank you so much for being real! I appreciate the reality more than you can imagine.
Welcome back! Lynda and I have missed you so much.
Missed you guys! I foresee a lot of Neal Young being sung to your boat in the future 😂
Wanted to chime in and say that beyond you guys being so fun to watch, the “thing” that I watch for for that no one else I’ve found has is that you’re not full time salts and you have a trailerable boat. I’m trying to get to where my wife and I can do extended trips on our Hunter 26 water ballast, but always be able to trailer in, out and sonewhere completely different. Thanks for helping me see how that is possible.
I had to start watching re-runs to get my Kirk and Lauren fix! Finally!
Great to see you back. Been following ever since I found you on your Tartan 37. Admittedly it was to steal ideas for mine but your content, personalities, and experiences kept me here. Looking forward to more.

Awesome to have you back!! Looking forward to further life, boat, barn, etc updates.
Welcome Back! Looking forward to seeing those beautiful babies growing up and hopefully back on the water soon.❤❤
Wonderful, I postponed going to my boat to watch...
You didn’t! 😂🤗

Please do not ever change the name as you guys will always be Sailing Soulianis whether on or off the water. Again great to see you, your young family and I wish you all the best. (Thank god for UA-cam notifications!) Andy
I watch because I like you. I would watch you build up your property. I already watch other people garden and what not.
There are certain smiles in this world that do a thing, glad they back
Nice to see you back. Congrats on the new crew member, October babies are the best!
Sure am Glad Your back. Missed you Bunches. Welcome Home 😅😊
Glad to see y’all back. On or off the water, your content is always enjoyable.
What a butterbeet! (Kai)
Good to hear from you all again!
Good to see you back... I was wondering about you guys!
Oh wow. Amazing addition to the family. Welcome back…
Glad to see you are back! Even if its every 2 weeks or longer. A Heart of Gold is worth the wait!
Oh it’s sooooooo great to see you(r grown family) again!!!! Can’t wait to see what you have coming.
My sailboat was named “ Breakin’ Wind”, named after my daughter. Again, welcome home(back).
Nice to see and hear from you folks again.....congratulations on the new baby and enjoying a great life!
