Watching this for the first time it’s one of the few things I haven’t seen of his thank you for putting it out and also for your interview in 2012 which as I’m sure you’ve been told before is excellent priceless man thank you
Great guy. Nice to see him do a different interview to all the other usual TV-formatted he did, as great as they were. He took care to listen to the name of each and everyone who asked a him question. Nice touch Norm.
Norm's delivery is such that everything he is saying is some amazing revelation he just found and is sharing with you like its the best thing in the world. Even just saying someone's name.
@@Sockerfaderhe basically won Who Wants to be a Millionaire but Regis talked him out of going through with his last, correct answer. To quote Dennis Miller, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong. (And yes, I know you're quoting Norm making fun of Matthew Perry)

He sounds like that huckleberry Finn writer at times I've heard him more like mitch he'd Berg. It's important to see the whole of the work. Norm was an artist and his art was his life and his comedy together, from what I know that can't be separated. It's by design I believe because he knew for over a decade perhaps 2 that he would die relatively young. And now through pure will and intellect he will live for as long as YT exists. He knew all this, his actions, comments, and work tells us this story.
I was looking for where Norm said his favorite book was War and Peace and favorite novel, Anna Karenina. In most other interviews, when asked this question he would say In Search of Lost Time by Marcel Proust, but maybe he changed it before he died?
I love how in every interviewer Norm has a different favourite comic of all time. I've heard him say Richard Pryor, Chris Farley, Brian Regan, Dave Chappelle, Dean Martin, Bob Hope, Bob Newhart, Don Rickles and so many others are the 'funniest person I ever saw in my life' Lol. Oh, and Amy Schumer.
Lol. One issue voters. Some people vote on height. Lol. He will not answer a single question straight. He's not only a professional comedian. That was his life. He WAS comedy, and that's how he wanted it. RIP norm. Greatest of all time
Wonderful guy who I miss greatly but why was he censored 44:39 when the interviewer was not, especially when saying the same name & norm went on to, pretty much, identify the person anyway?🤔
One of the most feeling people ever telling about his nonsense thoughts during a funeral. You can be assured most people think nothing beyond themselves if this thoughtful genius can point out his own self-centeredness.
Does anyone have any thoughts on Norm's delivery of this Q&A? I didn't think much about the tone of his voice until he began referring to the Q&A as being a sort of nonsense. Of course, he's not being interviewed by a comedian/entertainer, so I can see how he may be a bit less animated. However, I began to feel like maybe he didn't want to be there. Not that it matters one way or another; I'm just curious to know if anyone else thought anything of it.
Somehow, his repeating of the question became hilarious as the interview went on. I can picture the frowning interviewer as went on and on - hilarious.
