As someone who’s been watching AVGN since 2007 this was an awesome throwback to my times as a gamer back then. Getting out of school to go home and read EGM, watch G4, and of course catch the new AVGN vids. I miss those days.

Man growing up with James has been such a wholesome experience. We are the same age and he’s inspired me in so many ways. Proud of James for keeping the nerd going strong for almost 20 years now!

But now that I watched it, woa, it's nice to see James experimenting with new ideas while making tributes to the older episodes every once in a while. This whole episode felt like a classic AVGN episode, from the old 4:3 layout to the fact that James even recreated the room he did the original Indiana Jones episode in. I love it!
The biggest scorpion ever that I know of is Scorponok, the Decepticon Headmaster Commander from G1 Transformers. I had the original toy and now I have the new one, he's awesome!

The nostalgia for this episode is through the roof for me right now. I remember watching the nerd's indiana jones review on a summer night, now I'm experiencing it all over again
Of all people to cover the Didji version of Indiana Jones I didn't expect AVGN, I was the target audience as a little kid then playing that junk. It was my favourite because I didn't have to do math to play it.
My favorite part was definitely the intentionally bad editing when James dodged the gunshot, referencing the same thing that happened in the Star Wars remasters.
I don't say this as a slight against other recent AVGN episodes, but this is one of the best ones I've seen in a while, especially when it comes to capturing that nostalgic feel. What a fun ride it's been keeping up with these episodes the last 15+ years!

Fate of Atlantis was incredible, and it aged surprisingly well. Definitely worth playing if you’re a fan
