"I'm not the first one to be done, but I'm the one who gets the highest score" is actually very accurate about me :) so I'm gonna use lol Thank you for the video
I used your tips in my interview last year and it worked, it helped me ace it and land in my current job which I have been working almost for a year now. Thank you for the good work and effort you put in these videos,
I’m not even looking for a job, but listening to this was honestly interesting. Having done interview before, obviously, and realizing what I did right and did wrong. Logical, and well presented.
On my last job review my boss literally wrote down: "You hold yourself to very high standards and expect it of others" she wrote it as the only weakness she could right down about me. I'll take it.
I tend to over analyze compliments. Even though I’ve earned them often through hard work, and I appreciate the recognition, I feel like the people giving them are more excited about it than I appear to be.
Thank you , Thank you, THANK YOU! Just completed my 3rd round of interviews with my “dream job”. You’r tips are invaluable!!!! I feel I NAILED IT!🔨🔨🔨 I posted large poster boards with bullet points behind my computer so that I could answer precisely without that awkward, cringe worthy pause! ( cheat sheets ). Even if I don’t get this position, it gave me confidence and the skill set for all types of interactions in the future! YOU ARE AWESOME!!! I’ll hear back in 2 weeks👍
Unfortunately, I did not. But the experience was tremendously empowering. I gained a lot more confidence. Thank you for your vital source of information .
"I tend to find flaws in processes, but I also come up with a lot of solutions. Whether or not they get used, well, I don't take it personally." (then I give a bit of a chuckle, which relieves the pressure). And it's true I don't take it personally, but I do lose respect for the clowns who don't fix their processes. That's the part I don't say out loud!
I have had 10 phone interviews in the past 3 months and only 4 of them led to in person interviews. I thought I nailed every single one of them and I use all the tips online. I'm trying very hard and I'm going for the positions that I do. I have gotten none of the jobs. I keep pushing but its becoming such a sad state of affairs here. I've never had this much trouble getting a job in my field.
This is the best answer. I can't think of any other way to answer because I genuinely need extra time for the assigned project. Thank you for the help. God bless you from Finland.
My weaknesses are interviews. I had one the other day and my last interview was 13 years ago, I had worked 20 years straight, it was just an interview for a different position.
Thank you! I was always stuck on that answer. I'll be interviewing tomorrow for a local school district and another interview later in the week. This was very helpful.
@@deang5622lol I was HR and yes we joined interviews to basically ask interpersonal questions but we also had the department manager who knew the job ask their questions
Once you eliminate HR and pick the resumes you think are good, and start interviewing, you will soon realize it is exhausting and let the HR eliminate. Some lie some dont have communication skills or soft skills for example.I prefer recommendations from existing employees.
I always thought I was left-handed, but in fact I am right-handed though I can only write with my left hand. I always have to take documents out of the folder for signing them. On a whiteboard, I can only write with my right. It sounds confusing but I got used to it.
I tend to over communicate when I'm not certain of the requirements. I'll ask until I'm fairly sure I understand whats needed and then I go right at it and make certain it's done correctly.
I am hard of hearing and hence often I ask people to repeat what they said. Is that a okay weakness or something that clearly paints large red x mark on my profile?
I’m going to go through the channel- but a video about gaps on your resume would be helpful! I’m trying to get back to work after YEARS and my resume is full of holes because of my health. Any suggestions?
Mr Companies Expert, do you have any advice for someone taking a new role in the same organization who gets stuck with 2 full time jobs for a period of time. How would you ask for the most beneficial deal in this circumstance?
My weakness is Snicker Bars😂. What a stupid question. What's the interviewer's weakness? You know they have them, and they have the nerve to ask you yours😂
Was this helpful?

"What is you weakness?" My skepticism of poorly formed questions.

I'm currently coaching my son thru his first foray into the interview process and I find your videos incredibly helpful! Many thanks for what you do!

Why do recruiters interview?? Should be left to someone that actually knows the job your applying for
Thank you

Your channel is pure gold.
I've been screwed over so many time by employers, It's made me very mistrusting, as I stare them down, & the interview is very short.
You're hired!!!!
Excellent information and great sense of humor!!
This is an awesome video and exactly what I needed to hear. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Glad it was helpful, Chris!

Youre a call of duty sniper too????????? me too man! stay safe brother
Accuracy over speed...I will use that next time I get an interview. I have used the fact that I don't drive as a weakness
Don’t drive then they will have issues of you making it to work
😮😮😮😮

I turned down a job like this because I knew it will be hell for many months until they could replace me at the old job. It's not worth it.
Thanks! This was great!
