No better three man band in the history of rock! They flawlessly play the complexities of By-Tor while horsing around like a high school band at a party! "Marathon" is magisterial, a Tour de Force nonpareil!
Been listening since 1976 the year I graduated high school. Now in my 60’s wonder how Neil played SO HARD all those years. Alex is so awesome. And Geddy - what a phenom on bass❣️unforgettable. And thanks for sharing!
Love You RIP NEIL
Fan since '74, saw them when they were still playing Toronto bars and one of the last times John played. Yes, I still have my original copy of the first album, 2112 and Fly By Night almost wore them out but not quite. Cheers from Southern Ontario.
Gosh when you listen to RUSH you feel like there is hope for humanity--that it is possible to live on an elevated plane or level (just like STAR TREK original series and movies did)--that are you aren't constantly picking up sh** every day, listening to sh** every day and eating sh** every day. God Bless RUSH long live RUSH
Thanks for doing this. The first three are amazing as well as this one. So fortunate having seen them live 8 times as well as having the good fortune just growing up with their music. Remembering how I felt when each new album came out, most of the time really liking it, some of the time having to let it grow on me. But knowing that these guys are true musicians that are curious about trying "new" things, different styles and using different sounds. Really hope Alex and Geddy do something, possibly put out new music, maybe not tour, but give us something new. Selfish request but I'm pretty sure there's something left in the tank.
A thousand THANK YOU's! This collection is way over the top celebrating golden live performances of many songs which didn't get the most air time but are forever in my heart and soul. You did an amazing job!!!! Got any more?
Thank you so much for the kind words. Believe it or not, this is part 4 of a 7 part series of videos I made. Here’s a link to the playlist with all parts in order: ua-cam.com/play/PLNodkv0o_1fEVvHiT8oFqnIbtZCER0ffH.html&si=J_bSEeg9hbfbNaL-
@@blakeandotherstuff Thanks for the link. I think I have most of your posts about this. You've done the work I've been meaning to do for years. Thanks again. I've been a huge fan ever since Hemispheres back in the 1970's. I've been going to every concert since the Presto tour. I'm so glad I got to take my Wife with me to the last one. Again, thank you.
They played it for most of the Grace Under Pressure Tour, but it got dropped on the last few dates. The video recording for it was probably destroyed/deleted similarly to YYZ and The Camera Eye on Exit Stage left, since anything that wasn't included for home video was never preserved back then.

Aimee Mann was a great addition to the original cut of Time Stand Still. A really fun song!
Thank you for posting this. Fun times!
Was lucky to see 8 live shows. We had our tickets for R40, in Montreal, then couldn't go. Still have the unused tickets. Heartbreaking..
And I thought I was one of the few, Look at we all go Rushing!

Непередаваемо!
Losing It. Imagine being the last guy to try being the fourth wheel on a 3 legged behemoth. His knee's were shaking and rightfully so.
That has got to be intimidating for sure 😂
Gotta say that’s a pretty lack luster version of leave that thing alone
Resist is amazing. But, of course, it's Rush.
did they ever play "Kid Gloves" live?
They played it for most of the Grace Under Pressure Tour, but it got dropped on the last few dates. The video recording for it was probably destroyed/deleted similarly to YYZ and The Camera Eye on Exit Stage left, since anything that wasn't included for home video was never preserved back then.
