@@A4KNetwork No matter what kind of Xbox controller you have, you can connect the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter to your controller by plugging it into the rectangular expansion port on the bottom of your controller. You can then connect a compatible 3.5mm audio jack to the stereo headset adapter.

Now I see why I can’t find any videos on UA-cam of anyone using them on there consoles these are underrated for a reason there not really compatible how can u make a wireless headphone that only connects wirelessly to one console and not the other these are trash

Is it just me or the mic on this 600 wireless modell is really sounds like sh.t compared to the 100/200 models?
Did you tried the mic when the headset was wired?
What mic are you using now? Sounds great! Also this headset is a no for me since I have no pc to use to update. You going to check the anker strike one or three out? I haven’t returned the strike 1 and I’ve had it almost 2 months, if that tells you anything. Still need to test the mic

@The Techne: Hello there, I was patiently waiting for the Quantum 800 headset to become available until I found out THAT IT CANNOT BE CHARGED AND USED AT THE SAME TIME. That is a no no. Is it also the case for this Quantum 600? Thank you very much.

Nice reviews! I'm in doubt between the JBL Quantum 600 and the Hyperx Cloud Flight. Which one has better sound and mic quality (I use PC and PS4)? I like the bigger battery on he Hyperx, but the JBL has nice chat config and flip to mute mic. Oh, and many people say the Hyperx has a white noise. Thank you!

First of all, best review that I saw of this headset. Now, does the changes that we made at the software applies when using the headset on a console? I heard some reviewers saying that it does no difference at all but I'd like your opinion if it's possible :D

I'm thinking about buying the quantum 400 but right now im getting drawn to the quantum 600 so i need an answer on which one I should buy.
I have a question! When you change the settings in the Quantum Engine, do they save in the headphones for when you plug them in to a console?
I’ve had this headset for a while now; and I’ve gotta say I’m so happy with it. As hesitant as I was to spend so much money on a headset. (Never have spent more than $90 on one) I did also struggle to set it up at first, but now that I’m familiar with the software I can confidently say it was me and not the headset/software.

The Techne yeah I have had them for four days now probs worn them for seven to eight hours a day can’t even feel them in my head one of the best additions to my setup so far if you wanna test the surround sound watch a video called barbershop surround sound it’s so trippy!!! 😂
I just bought and tested Quantum 800. Donno the exact difference with 600 but everything you said applies to 800 as well. I like the music sound best when the spatial sound is off. DTS sounds next best just as you mentioned. It trades off depth of sound for adding surround feel to it. Quantum surround is absolutely weak without depth but if you keep listening to it for a while, it kind of tricks your brain to fall into surround immersiveness, sounding live and out in the world. Quantum surround as you mentioned has echo, which I would describe as reverb. But I must add that it would work nice for hearing foot steps in FPS with nice directional accuracy. I assume the head and body size sertings woud be used for the purpose of enhancing directional acuracy although I have not fully tested. So I would say the Quantum surround has its uses despite sounding very weak. I am hoping it to sound better with 7.1ch sound source which I am yet to test. I would use no surround for music, DTS for movies, Quantum for FPS. It is the first time I use spatial sound headset and cannot fully judge it yet. I will give it some time and see how I like it.
the 800 is the same is the 600 but the 800 has anc and more rgb and more battery life
@@moons6725 anc is useful but mire rgb is completely useless unless you are a streamer. I turn it off as it drains battery too fast.

Be careful with the updates. A recent firmware update bricked mine after 4 months. Thankfully the warranty team seems to be working with me. The sound quality is super good but I can't get over how bad the JBL software is and the risk of bricking your headset.

My headset always been my JBLE55BT (Xbox) wired and the sound has and communication with the 3.5mm cable has always been awesome once I herd they dedicated sound to gaming I bet it just gets better...

There are headphones of the 600th series, the usb adapter has broken, and because of this loss, than the possibility of any headphones through a proprietary application (does not see headphones without an adapter), where can I buy a new one or replace it?
As for me, this is very their problem, the 600 series ... this adapter ...

Video looks great so you know bei.. I'm a new subscriber to your vids and I have to say 5 Stars across the board I like your reviews. If you could share a little advice with me I'm looking to get the best quality gaming headset under $200 that's for PS4 and it's a slim So I know about the optical. I'm kind of in a time crunch due to returning stuff and money issues so I really hope to hear back from you soon but I'm using a stealth 600 Turtle Beach and I also have heard the Razer Kraken tournament Edition and the hyperx Cloud 2 plugged it in and didn't get to use any of the special features so I sent it back anyways can you give me a few ideas have what would be better than this stealth that I have and keep in mind I love wide sound stages good Imaging not a crazy Call of Duty player stuff that helps. But I like good crisp highs nice hitting Lowe's with no distortion and I am only looking for wireless. I really hope you'll hit me back and I'll continue to pass the word about your channel and videos keep making them loving brother hope to hear back soon peace

Hi Techne, I have hard time with these in regard to pairing. After an update these headphone never get paired back with the dongle. In your video you mention that you did factory reset, could you please help to make a video on this or help me in sharing the steps. Unfortunately, JBL customer is not yet upto the mark in regards to new release rather they are encouraging to get a replacement. Please help me with steps.

Do these work for ps4 & ps5 if I wanna switch consoles?
This video prevented me from buying a new headset. Default presets are awful. Couldn't tell where footsteps were coming from while playing EFT. The settings he showed fixed my issue. Thanks again Techne
