Oh my goodness Jarrett payton giving his point of view i really glad he stayed on the right side of history and the ball Justin fields is the Quaterback of the Chicago Bears i feel the Bears Organization need to run it back with more pieces on offense and special teams and some on defense add-ons the play-calling needs to get batter Justin fields is the best Quarterback the Chicago bears have had in a long time im rooting for the Chicago Bears and Justin fields and Co.
A QB doesn't have to be fast. "Maybe a better thrower" is good enough for me. I prefer Drake Maye over Caleb Williams, but I'll take either over Justin Fields. The running highlights on Sportscenter is nice, I rather win.

A QB elevates the players around him. JF in incapable of that. He has not progressed that much in his 3rd. year. Stop making him a victim.

How you gonna develop any QB with different ppl so many times.. Thanks to Lafleur who knows how to draw up offensive plays with a good o line who can give love time to throw & make his reads Love is having a great first season. Justin Fields & the Bears themselves have yet to get a competent HC or OC to be successful at all.. If you don’t know who Luke Getsy is & how he calls play then I don’t wanna hear why Justin doesn’t throw for multiple TDs in a game.. Screen screen screen & in the gun whenever a yard is needed for the first? Yeah I ain’t tryna hear that.. Fields is flawed but we ain’t gonna sit here & say that it’s all on him lol

One of the Packers defensive lineman was interviewed and said something like this: "We knew if we could keep in the pocket there would be know problem." In other words he was saying Fields can't pass from the pocket, which is a damming indictment for an NFL QB in his 3rd. year.

The correct answer to all questions is JIM HARBAUGH but we know the bears don't hire proven winners or anyone with HC experience. It's nothing personal, Flus is a great guy and players love him but they'll love harbaugh, too....we have the 1.01 and the 1.09 this yr, this is the most attractive the bears hc job has ever been. Give the keys to Harbaugh, our old QB, coming off a Naty Chip in Michigan and let him run the show and do what he wants. Isnt that just so much better than what we keep doing? But we all know they wont do that, they won't do what t takes to bring in Jim. They'll probably ruin the whole thing, draft a qb at 1.01 and then keep Flus and give him one more year, like Naggy broke trubisky they gave him one more swing with Fields...then bring in a defensive coordinator with no HC experience to develop their shiny new rookie QB.

Just my opinion, so don’t dump on me! Let’s keep Justin and let’s build on the offense. The defense is decent and will improve with another DE/pass rusher and an improved secondary. As for coaching, Eberflus stays and Getsy is gone!
Who would you rather have as a QB, C. J. Stroud or Jordan Love? Both 1st year players, as compared with JF, who is in his 3rd. year with a 10 -28 record? The biggest no brainer in the history of earth.
Because of the winning record of a quarterback during a complete tear down of a roster they should literally do the definition of insanity, and continue to do the same thing as always, and dump the QB, who has shown talent on an extremely limited roster, and go get another qb to put on that same limited roster, rather than acquiring more draft capital by trading away the pick you would use on that new qb sounds like the dumbest idea in history actually… in my opinion.

This coaching staff sucks top to bottom. Justin hasn’t shown he’s got the ability to be the franchise level QB. Go get Jim period change the trajectory of loosing in this club ! Such a proud and storied franchise that had a tradition of being elite until the current ownership took over and allowed a loosing mentality! I want a coach and ownership who’ll demand nothing but excellence and taking ownership of themselves to be accountable to not only themselves but their teammates team and ultimately the city! When you hold each other accountable and demand champions they will start to believe it and perform at a championship level

Jordan Love threw 30 tds in his first season starting. Under a first year coach on a team that finished with the 2nd worst record CJ Stroud threw for 20 tds and 4k yards? JF in the last 7 starts of his season threw 5 tds had 3 int 3 fumbles and didn't reach 300 yards in a game? What is so great about JF? Do you think a rookie qb could be any worse? Bryce Young past for more yards than JF. Sure he started 2 more games but wtf!

QB is not the issue. This team needs too many pieces. Getting a new QB is wasting capital. If y’all want to win you will wait longer. The depth isn’t there yet.

5. Next year they will then fire headcoach after the end of the year, hire a head coach

Fields was a pocket passer at OSU…better passing stats than the qbs coming out.
How bout the need to build up the oline like any good team does. How about getting more than 2 quality weapons as pass catchers. How about getting quality coaching. The Packers have that. Until the Bears get that they'll always be 2nd fiddle to them Cheeseheads. a QB is only as good as his coaching and oline. Remember that.

Right now the Bears are failing JF1. They need O line help and a true #2 next to DJ. I 100% agree with everything Jerry said here. Anyone who says otherwise is just watching an average fan that actually thinks a rookie QB will just come in here and handle the constant pressure with no open WR. The Bears still need O line help and a true NFL #2 WR. Poles is the best GM we have had EVER and I am sure he watches the tape and not just the game. Come April, the bears will have additional picks, a WR, Edge rusher and Center in the first 2 days. J. Johnson will sign a massive contract and they will have a corner/S to replace Jackson through free agency or in the 2/3rd round.

Here's what I don't understand. A lot of times a team wins the Superbowl or goes high into the playoffs, other teams poach the offensive coordinator for their new head coach. This playoff/Superbowl team has to hire a new head coach to replace the leaving offensive coordinator. Everyone is saying that he's going to have to learn a new system again. It happens all the time to the best teams. Why is it an issue for this team? This is the nonsensical BS that comes from attention seeking writers who want to scoop a story. I have got to believe that changing the offensive coordinator isn't as big a deal as they try to make it.

Please, everyone stop. Gesty may be a terrible coach but it’s the QB’s responsibility to be able to “read and react” in a timely manner as to what is happening on the field. With all of Justin’s brilliance and talent, he is either too slow(upstairs) or lacks the confidence to find a receiver. The proof is in the pudding. I love the kid but he is not getting it done. Let another team coach him up. Trade him!

These guys share my opinion. Bring in a QB that can actually sit and develop which is something the Bears have never done. Fields is still under contract for 2 more years but these fans wanna just trade him and start a rookie QB week 1. Can’t put all our eggs into one basket when we are blessed with opportunities and options that we have suffered the past 2 seasons to be in this position now. Bear Down!
Azumah never won anything. A lot of these former Bears are apart of the losing culture that has witnessed a perpetual series of bad QB play.
