Were did you buy it from i been having good luck with my 150tx engines i had a 160 an it was good but ended up selling it cuz my 150 was in better condition I couldn’t tell a big difference between then bc my 150 is geared different than the stock 160 was. Hopefully you figure it out
I bought it brand new from the dealership. The 170 is a monster compared to the 160. The compression ratio is higher I believe. We have switched to Kawasaki and Ktm. And not looking back. China bikes are not the answer.
Chad Sharrow depends china bikes are good for pitbikes..i race motocross and obviously you wouldn’t ever run one of these pitbikes on a race course lol..there made for fun not to really beat on as the parts as usually cheap. My SSRs have all different parts i dont run the crap ssr puts them together with. I frame mine and rebuild them with new hardware and anything thats cheap. As far as the motors go u can run the daytonas. But good move KTM and kawi are best for race bikes. Good luck with everything
Jesse K410 I only bought the China bikes so the kiddos could ride a bit easier than the 50cc clutch snap Ktm or cobra. I too raced a bit of motocross. Had my pro license until 2005. 😉 we have a full blown moto track at home.
Brand new and no break in period? When you buy them new there’s no or little oil.
