This year do you think if you rented the hole farm out do you think you would have made more money or farming it all out in the end ? This is a question because we got a farm by a family member passing away .
I have watched every episode of your soybean and corn harvest. I am in awe of how you all worked such long hours to get it completed and then turn around and help your neighbors. The planning and logistics to get the grains in the silos coupled with the added pressure of keeping the equipment running was an eye opener for me. I have great respect for all of you…Cole, Cooper, Daddy Constar, Roman and the ladies who had hearty meals ready for you at night. I have really enjoyed your grandfather’s mansion renovation and look forward to seeing what you do next with the movie theater. I love your positive attitude your boundless energy and your work ethic. I have the highest respect and gratitude for what you do! Blessings to all of you. Thank God for our farmers and what they provide! 🌽⭐️🫶
I absolutely love Zach's beaming smile while running the '2 rows of shame.' He will likely remember that day for the rest of his life. Congratulations, young man!
Iowa is known for their Guardian Angels. I have one, and he lives in Sioux City. One of the most beautiful people I've ever met. Well Done Papa Cole and the whole family team. You give us reason to believe in the goodness of neighbors.
this brings tears to my eyes, that neighbors help each other, still. I am from Germany originally and we do the same thing on our farmland. I love that I see this in America too. God bless you
Congrats on your fantastic harvest. Thank you to all the farmers out there that provide us with our food !!! Thank you for making non farmers aware of the gamble you guys take. Another great video !

I love how you boys just hooked everything right back up and got the job done! There is nothing greater than the American farmer! Congrats and the record crop. I’m sure with the bins and holding on to your crop for a little while will see some numbers changing in the coming months and you’ll end the year in the black! Praying for good numbers that we can’t even imagine at this point in time!
My heart was smiling while my eyes were crying for joy while watching Zach smiling. ❤ Way to go Cornstar Team for helping neighbors. Prayers for your neighbor family.
Congrats! Now that the farm is on an upswing and can produce bumper crops, the future is bright especially with the potential of reducing expenses and the knowledge of seed/fertilizer benefits. Good luck with the prices increasing next year and your bottom line showing a hefty profit! 😎
Neighbors helping neighbors is always a good thing ! Yesterday I helped my neighbor pick persimmons from his trees. My payment was some persimmons !!! 👍
I so proud for all of your family. All the farmers coming together and helping others when they need it. All of you take risk in the markets to try and make a good hard honest living. Praying for the neighbor that was needing all of the help. Love to each and every one of you!❤️
We are all a part of your family Cole, we are brothers & sisters in Christ and we love each other. May God bless you in a mighty mighty way for the love you spread!
Congratulations on completing harvest!! Praying you come out ahead!! It’s such a crap shoot!! Does my heart good to see the country way of neighbors helping neighbors!
Food prices are sky high while farmers are getting record low prices. Feels like the middle men are doing some price fixing. Apparently McDonald’s is going after the top 5 beef producers for price fixing as well. Hope you guys make some money. Love seeing family farms!
From what I understand, their corn goes towards the production of ethanol not food. With that said, I don’t have an understanding on why corn prices are lower at this time.
I remember a time in this country when people would just show up to help when they heard someone needed help. A lot of times the people who showed up might not even know you but just wanted to help. Im very happy to see that what I remember from years ago is still alive in parts of our country. In the cities anymore you may not even know your neighbors and that's really sad . I make a point to meet new neighbors and at least offer to help them if they ever need help. Most of my neighbors are great people and friends ,but there are a couple of neighbors that have made it clear that they don't want to be what I call neighborly and dont want anything to do with anyone in our culdasac ,which is thier choice but I really feel sorry for them and in all honesty I don't understand how people can be that way. I'm 75 and was raised on a ranch so I learned a lot of skills , I'm constantly helping my young neighbors work on thier homes ,cars and lawn equipment. They are all very appreciative and we've have become good friends over the years. Maybe that's why what your family and others did for your neighbor hit a nerve in my heart. Now if only the rest of our country would follow your families examples the world would be a better place.
Neighbors helping each other is for me quite uplifting and a positive emotional expirence. Tales such as yours give me hope and pride in our species. Thank you for sharing it made my day.
The crazy thing is that based on your yield and the price you sold those crops 6 months ago for, even if you sold everything at those prices, you would still be at a projected loss. It's such a sad state that a critical industry struggles to break even, especially when you guys had a record year. But then you compare that to the companies that rely on farmers for business (fertilizer, seed, equipment, etc.); they all have record profits.
It seems like a Catch-22 for farmers; when yields are low, prices are high, and when yields are high, prices are low. Good for you (all) for having the guts to put in your own bins (may God give your justice!.) It must be a constant test of your faith. May God bless and prosper you.
Love to watch your harvest. I miss making lunch for the field and the hustle. You all really have it going on for sure. Love Zack s face when he was running the combine. Thanks for helping your neighbors. It's a good thing to do
This is what farmers are renowned for, helping each other out. The great thing is lots of farming families are exactly like the 'Cornstars'. It's silly how badly farmers are treated. High input prices low sales prices. If all the crops were imported then watch the prices skyrocket.
i’m so sorry for your grandpa. Rest in peace and congratulations you need the farm. God bless you and bless your family and keep you strong and now you have the to be done my favorite favorite favor to watch. I love you and God bless you and kiss the children for me please
That’s the American way to help a neighbour in need….. good on you! Let’s make America great again! To God be the glory, for safety, wonderful weather, early finish and great yeild and so much more!
we had a younger neighbor die just as harvest was about to start a few years back and he was fairly well liked by everyone , so they had 4 different farms all pitch in and help them get their crops all out. The guy was only in his late 40s so it was a sudden thing. It was awesome to see how fast his fields were all empty. Good people helping good people always works out well in times like that.
It's not just a Iowa thing it's a farmer thing especially in Amish areas if you're Amish and you get hurt they'll Even build your house for you from top to bottom within days all you may ask is you do the same if they need help farmers are less than 2% of the world's population there is nobody else to help them but themselves
This is the level of friendship, cooperation, and commitment to the community that our country was built on and the original Constitutionalist were. They worked for a common purpose, our country. I wish such a thing was seen today.
@andykolb263 those fly over states like Iowa North Carolina North and South Dakota Wyoming etcetera all those States just mentioned are the literal Bread Basket for the world they also contain a bunch of America's nuclear weapons since they are considered Fly Over States the American government doesn't care as as much as if New York City got attacked or Washington

I get it with family farms, every time I go by my grandpa’s farm it brings a lot of special memories up ! Good to see this special sentiment in your video 💕
Same here. My grandmother ended up selling our E Texas farm because my dad didn’t want it. I spent a lot of summers there as a kid and I miss it. I go take a road trip and drive by it every few years.
Farmers all are family that’s help each other out in times of need. Good timing to have your flields done and one call for another additional day to farm your neighbors flields. Both are done for the harvest season. It’s always are gamble to see what you get for the prices will go up or not.
I remember my dad going to help a farmer in need. A cow was giving birth and the calf was not coming out dad had to put his arms in and pull the baby out saving both the mother and calf’s lives. When the farmer came home he visited my dad and wanted to pay him, my dad would not take a penny. But the gratitude that farmer had made a huge impression on me as a little girl.
Glad you're done, it's finally going to rain at the end of late October/early November. Interesting story about neighor helping neighbor, so rare nowadays. Luv the tractor driving tutorial too...
When you see a 4 way with no stop signs you are supposed to treat it like a 4 way stop. Usually one direction can’t tell it’s a 4 way that’s why it’s safest to stop.
One morning we were taking a load of grain.(Can't remember if it was soybeans or wheat.) To the elevator over on the Mississippi River. Left bright and early so we could maybe make 3 loads in a day. Got to the levie at the Mississippi River and there was a line of trucks at least 1/2 long. The elevator was full and they were waiting on a river barge to be parked at the unloading dock. You could see the barge about 3/4 mile down the river coming upstream. The river was up a little and the current was such that the poor tugboat was not big enough to gain any distance coming up the river. So they called for another tugboat for help. So we got to sit on the levie and watch the river flow by for about 4 hours before finally getting the truck to the head of the line to unload. This was not during harvest so it was just a good break in our normal hauling routine. This was back in the late 70's. Love the mansion build.

I thought last year you guys did not fill the corn bins because the concrete was cracking and you were afraid of the weight ! What changed?
Not the bins… the concrete was breaking on the hopper bottom bin where they were storing their wet corn for drying, not the big bins.
