I really like your video and will try your chicken! The last time I use a grill to barbecue chicken that did not turn out right it was tough and Gaby! I was very disappointed and hungry and I had to throw the chicken out! I was trying to call myself using a GRILL for the first time and I wasn't sure how long to cook the chicken and the temperature, I cooked it on very high heat the whole time. I just didn't know anything about grilling! And didn't know what I was doing! But now I understand it must be flipped every few minutes! And to use indirect heat etc. Thanks so much for this video and I hope that my chicken turns out right THIS TIME! 👍🏽

I understand brining a chicken or turkey breast but the thighs are already moist and flavourful. I think what's needed is aggressive seasoning, not brining. Just my opinion!

Brining also makes the chicken very tender and enhances it in flavor. For additional flavor, you may add your choice of herbs and spices in the brine. But over brining is bad, just as bad as over cooking.
Sriracha Hot Chili sauce is hard to find in local stores. Found, Sriracha Hot Chili sauce Ketchup, instead; will increase amount and hope for the best!

Followed this recipe thinking it was a sure fire hit. The chicken was still not done and I had to keep cooking it for an additional 20 mins and it got to the point where the skin was burnt but chicken was pink in the middle

Can this recipe be done with an indoor smokeless grill? I would have to make adjustments because I wouldn't be able to cook it over indirect heat.
Yeah, you may use the same recipe for an indoor grill as well. Just make those adjustments as you mentioned. You should be fine.

I just put my chicken legs in a saltwater brine, and tomorrow I will be grilling them up Taz style 🙂
I'm guessing cook at a lower temp til almost done, glaze w BBQ, cook more for BBQ to dry, glaze again.
PS I love that she marinates and dries it before seasoning. Most people put wet chicken on the grill and it sticks

It's better to parboil chicken before it goes on the bbq to avoid that. I'm surprised this video didn't show that.

Great recipe but you should NEVER brine in a metal bowl!..health and safety reasons …use glass or another non reactive material.
