I used to love playing CRSED with my friend back when it was called Cuisine Royale. It was a weird wacky game and we made it to the top 100 players in EU. It was awesome, and I am a bit sad to see it go, but it never got the support it needed to last sadly.
@@samholdsworth420 Yeah it was basically a stress test tech demo slapped together using enlisted assets that gained moderate popularity but not enough to get attention from the devs.

Yeah, I found it right after it was released on PS4 and played it together with a friend. We were so blown away by it that we introduced it to the rest of our group and we ended up playing it for years. We were quite sad to see the game dying, as it was one of the most fun games we've played together.
Yea I got my friends in it cause when we'd play pubg at least 2 members would be screwing around pranking us and tking so I said cuisine royal will be our bs time and pubg for when we were trying to get dinners😂 well needless to say we ended up dropping pubg for like a year a just had a blast on cuisine royale/cursed
I love Intruder, I used to play it constantly and just had way to much fun on it. The community at the time was some of the funniest individuals I had ever been around.
Bringing back many nostalgia to the criken's Intruder Video where they are roleplaying and a lot of shit going on, I mainly got interested on this game because of their gameplay even tho nobody wants to roleplay lmao.

Infestation Survivor Stories is actually a way deeper wormhole than you think. Originally the game released in 2012 I believe and at that time it was a pretty good and big title that many people chose over DayZ. The authors of the game are probably ones of the biggest scammers of the gaming industry and I highly recommend everyone to search up some videos about the history of that game. It's a shame to see the shambles that are left of it as this used to be one of my favourite games back in my elementary school days.
Warz used to be goated, its a shame it turned into whatever the fuck it is today with some actual updates and love it could have turned into something beautifull
Was about to comment something similar! when he said it was only two years old, my fight or flight instincts kicked in because I know this game came out when I was 12 or 13 (I’m 24 now)
Same here found it back in 2013 with my mates we played on and of for a bit and left it. Years later in like 2015 2016 we came back to check on it and it was utterly infested with hackers and spam bots. We couldn't get a refund clearly but I'm 2018 or so when they where trying to rebrand it they got in that massive scandal and I managed to get a refund because of it pretty funny. Fuck those devs with a rusty spork tho, twats.
What? That's some rose tinted glasses if I've ever seen them, lol. Warz was considered awful at launch, just terrible. I suppose maybe they improved it later? All I recall is it being savagely torn apart when it first came out.
@@EarthboundX well I only started playing a year or so after the launch and it defintiely could be nostalgia clouding my judgement. Although overall I don't think it was this bad of a game. Also mind that the standards where completely different back in the day and it was the era of early access survival games.
CRSED started as a April fools event for the game Enlisted and Gaijin decided to make it standalone a little later. Edit: Just to clarify it a little, the game was initially called Cuisine Royale just like the event but they eventually renamed to CRSED when they started to add in characters with special powers.
Intruder still going rock hard. Stealth genres + teammate missions keep those games alive easily, all they wound need is a sale deal or ad to bring new players in

Intruder is still very much alive. You just wont find players in the middle of the night if you're EU/US. It is a smaller community, but you can still very reliably find a few full servers, especially on the weekend.

it would be interesting to explore the ruins of whatever players left in dead servers of Ark or Conan. i did it many times and its both fascinating and eerie. hundreds of fantastic creations left to rot, destroyed by a battle or just abbandoned. all those dinos just waiting for a master that will never come back. its really something.
They are purely code on a screen but the idea of ark dinosaurs sitting idly for months waiting for players who don't give them a second thought really burns
@@kingrat2122 i saw beaches covered in dinos of all kinds just standing still, guarding bases that crumbled eons ago. sometimes i would just steal an egg of a brachio or some other huge animal, and make them chase me through whatever they could aggro by just stomping on it. they were idle for who knows how long, and i woke them up to pure chaos. they only downside is that my potato pc cant deal with all that so i usualy get like 5 fps XD it would be nice to watch it at a normal framerate. you know, without risking a seizure...
Avid CRSED enjoyer here, figured I’d leave my 2 cents in hopes of attracting more players: -The fights that go down are unreal. A fast TTK combined with high speed movement and OTT character abilities make for some of the most competitive and entertaining fights in any shooter game -CRSED is 100x more active on console than it is on PC, and a mobile version has just recently been released for Android and iOS if that’s something you’re into -Players can utilise a number of different rituals that have an effect on everybody in your lobby. Some of these rituals include giving everybody a Jetpack for 40 seconds, activating a Zombie Apocalypse, Low Gravity, Meteor Showers, turning all toilets into portals, zero recoil and so on -Players can also pick and choose a set of Traps to assist them in battle. Some of the Traps include a Jump Pad and Push Right trap (these are amazing for movement), 2 Teleport pads that you can teleport between wherever and whenever you want, Traps that recharge your stamina and health, a bush to camouflage yourself in, Frag Grenade Traps that activate when you walk nearby them, even one that summons a Dementor from Harry Potter that goes around fucking everyone up -The only real downsides are that when this game rebranded from Cuisine Royale to CRSED, it pretty much became pay-to-win for any newcomers. Unless you’re willing to grind for months on end, you may have to spend a couple bucks in order to keep up with the players who’ve been around since the early days. There aren’t many servers to choose from on console, so if you’re outside of North America or Europe you’re gonna have to deal with a bit of lag. Lastly, there is a severe lack of information covering how to actually play CRSED, there aren’t any in-game tutorials and a lot of the text is poorly translated from Russian, which may throw people off. Your best bet is to ask a streamer for advice (LatvianOutplayTV is a great example) or watch some UA-cam videos uploaded by active players such as myself Hope to see some of you checking it out and hopefully sticking around!
I used to love playing Infestation: The New Z which was the survival multiplayer for Infestation. Had so much fun with it when it was alive 7 years ago.
Intruder is such an incredible and hilarious game that's always fun with some friends. A shame the online isn't very active. If the devs permanently reduced the price to around $10 or $15 I think that would remedy a lot of the issues. The game goes on sale for 50% fairly often tho
*Infestation* is one of the best game I ever played, I played it in Asia when I was 9 y. And this game is more than 10 years old is just that you play the new stories from 2020.
I’m shocked to see infestation. That was a crazy game back in the day. Originally was called WarZ and spawned H1Z1 which in a way seem to spawned the BR craze. It was so good when it first came out.
"everyone hopped on" you are aware that h1z1 was the only BR besides hunger games and OG pubg mod for arma 2 for like 3-4 years? h1z1 was only out for less than a year before it started having competitors though.@@LuixWalkingDead21
Infestation was the old WarZ from 2012, that had other name and they moded up to become WarZ, then it became infestation in 2018 and died completely, they just changed the name and called it a day.
I remember wanting to play Intruder so bad after seeing Criken do videos on it years ago- shame to see it on a dead games list but you're completely right, that's quite a high price for the game. I'm sure there's enough content/promise to justify the price even at an in-development stage but I feel like it's time has come and gone, unless they decide to do a marketing push in the future (sponsored streams/videos and whatnot). It seems like a really good game, but ultimately forgotten to time with it being in development/out for so long
Wasnt expecting to see intruder here! One of my fave games ever. It got brought to steam pretty recently which boosted the playerbase tonnes it was dead for years, there is even a pro league which i was able to play in all community run :)
As a proud intruder player, I officially declare that this game is extremely fun and varied(community maps). Pays for itself in full after 100 hours. For every 100 lvl you get the rarest skins that will help you pay for this game.
This is to compound on another comment I saw. Infestation survivor stories used to be a game called The WarZ. Came out ten or so years ago but likely got forced to change its name by the then being produced world War z movie. Back then it was an enjoyable enough survival game with very scarce resources as opposed to finding an mg36 within 5 minutes that it eventually turned into. The devs also made a game called Romeros aftermath (how they got his name on it I don't know). They basically re release and rename the game every few years but it's the same hud and gunplay that I experienced when I was a teenager. Good times. Good times.
The company behind Infestation development (Hammerpoint Interactive) had a multiplayer FPS game, War Inc., that was pretty decent and fun. When DayZ mod became popular and the survival genre started to grow they announced WarZ (Yes, they used the name of the movie to get more hype, were sued and changed the name to Infestation), then they shifted all the team from War Inc (eventually killing the game), reused a ton of models, animations and gameplay mechanics and launched it very quickly (by the end of 2012), even before DayZ Standalone. It had a ton of bugs and missing features but was fun and had an atmosphere of fear that any other game at the time provided. At some point it became infestated of cheaters in an unplayable way, the game started to be more about PvP and less about zombies, it got worst with the release of H1Z1 and the popularity of the battle royal mode and as the game started losing popularity they did it again, announced a new game (Romero's Aftermath) and killed Infestation that was "sold" to another developer that relaunched it as NewZ, a game much more focused on PvP, and at some point they released a Battle Royale mode and the classic survival again on steam.
@@WdoubleyouWi also remember the game coming first, but the movie was based on a book of the same name which is what i believe led them to suing over the naming rights
Infestation is actually from like 2011 or something like that. It was rebranded from WarZ to Infestation. Used to be a good game back in 2012-2013 but due to cheaters, performance issues, and a lack of care from the devs, it died quickly.
A good note about Postal 3 is that the voice actor of Postal Dude managed to stay on Running with Scissors and ended up voicing in both Brain Damaged and an option in Postal 4
Glad to see Infestation. It was sooooo great back in 2013 ! Dev's are scammers (hello Sergey Titov, never seen a guy create so much games and abandon them) but trust me, the version we played with anti cheat and multiple full servers and a big community was one of my favorite game. So sad it's dead now. I met multiple players, some are friends since then and it's still fun to remember the good days when we were playing it. Sad no other games did well on the looter shooter zombie type gameplay.
smallville gun fights were amazing when it was warZ, until the cheaters with ESP and 500m aimbots joined and then it just killed the game, the rush youd get after a gunfight, salvaging their loot and escaping to the safezones was unmatched. Combat logging was also a pain in the ass. I replayed the game recently and it was super dead, and the only people i did see were fully geared tryhards who i also suspect were using ESP
Cuisine Royale (now unfortunately called CRSED) was one of my favorite battle royale games. First of all, they just did it as April Fools, but it became serious, it had a stable playerbase and people were loving it. A good alternative to buggy PUBG or other battle royale games Also you didn't have to wait until you spawned into a match by waiting minutes to jump out of a plane and so on, that wasn't existing in Cuisine Royale. Also what I loved was SUPER PEOPLE, unfortunately, their servers were shut down due to having a low playerbase.
I miss Cuisine Royale so much, it was 10/10 BR game for me, sadly it turned into CRSED and died shortly because of stupid unnecessary superpowers and other shit
Yup it was awesome around 2018-19, i used to play it daily but sadly those updates with special characters and drifting away from the goofy aesthetic made it just not fun anymore
yup when it was just cuisine royale it was fucking amazing and started going downhill immediately after they named it crsed, i checked once and the drop in players perfectly lines up with the rebrand. also that being said the werewolf power 10/10 lol
I'm here to say it's still very much a fun and competitive game. Maybe not on PC but on console, the leaderboards are still a huge competition and there alot of people playing, i don't play any other games
An underrated very, very good online shooter was 'Mag' back in the day. One of my friends was so dedicated he played right up to when the servers were shut down.
I remember pre-ordering Infestation way back in the day - the beta was actually fun, but I remember vividly the first day I played the 'real' game everybody in the server was spawning at the same spawn point and the first few people out were camping fresh spawns. Refunded and never looked back.
the newz game is not 2 yrs old the game was called warz (infestation survivor stories) and was released back in 2012 it was really popular amongst big streamers like summit and others... but sadly hackers took over it n it died.. newz is just a plane copy of it
I used to enjoy playing infestation back in the days, I got a bit over 200 hours on it and I can say that before it died out it was a pretty fun game. Especially the survival one with zombies and players, I’ve had many good moments with infestation throughout the years :D
I'll still never forget the stress of having a shit load of good loot and having to run for like an hour back to the safe zone without getting slaughtered
The first one uses ALOT of the same assets as enlisted, idk if they bought the same but that house caught me off guard as I have fought in that dozens of times. Infestation survival stories used to be called warz, a zombie survival game that was vaguely an extraction shooter, there were safe areas on the map with player stashes, you would go out looting different places for gear and come back with whatever you looted to one of the settlements, you were never out of the map unlike other popular extraction shooters.
Infestation is actually quite an old game. It was once called WarZ. They had to change their branding later on. It used to be a classic dayZ type of game in an arcadey package. Used to be fun honestly....like 10 years ago.
I have a lot i could say about Infestation Survivor Stories. But lets start with the "release date". 2 years old is way off the mark, this game was rebraded as "Infestation Survivor Stories" back in 2013 but before that it was called The War Z or just War Z. And whole reason why the name was changed? World War Z wanted fewer search results that was not their movie. In actuality this game is closer to 11 years old as the initial release was in 2012 on a standalone client. This was back when DayZ Mod was in full swing and promised a zombie survival with tons of players, special boss zombies, lots of different things and ended up being a very meh game. Zombies would bug out, microtransactions were in since the launch of the very first alpha (most of them being clothing but some were seen as quite aggressive), had some features you may see in tarkov such as having a stash you can stock up between games but then within months was plagued by hackers that could just teleport to the skybox and use an aimbot, because guns didn't have a damage fall off from distance. as long as a bullet hit, it did its full amount of damage. So then the dev decided to do something that bethesda would also attempt with fallout 76. They placed great loot out of bounds, inside building models, impossible to reach places, and then tagged that loot so they could ban the cheaters using this as a filter. The cheaters caught onto this within a day and started handing out free loot to regular players. Within the first year, there was a hacker whose goal was to hack as many players as possible to lock them out of their accounts because of how bad the game was even back then. Sure it was fun for a few things here and there but better and more polished games quickly came out in that boom of zombie games. The devs kept teasing this super zombie, this boss that would be guarding loot. to the point that from day 1 they had a zombie howling as part of the BGM ambience and pretended it was already in the game and its a global sound effect. Almost any damage would turn into a death sentence, sometimes you would ONLY find bandages for like three hours. there were glitches where only one item would spawn so the community found ways to encourage new loot to spawn by making huge piles of crap and then that started to not work.
I recently played crsed with a couple of friends for a few days, while there is not many players encounters are still pretty frequent, the combat is fun, matches aren't too long, and its pretty easy to just hop on and kill some time, not a bad game.
I used to absolutely wreck on CRSED. During the winter of 2020 I would play that game and rack up 10+ kills a game. There would be these refrigerators around the map with loot items in there, so I figured it would be perfect bait. In the game you have spells you can cast which will perform certain power moves. The tactic id use would be placing down a fake fridge trap where when you click on it, nothing happens; just a little fun trolling in game. The dirty twist id add to it is directly underneath the fridge I used to put a flashbang and grenade trap. My enemies would be walking up to the trap, and as they'd go to click on it they'd be blinded by the flashbang and by the time they got their vision back, they were looking at the game over screen because the grenade had finished them off. If the trap didn't work, I was laying prone nearby in between some wooden log piles and a building where nobody could see me to seal the deal with my MG42 or other high damage gun. The best part about it all was I didn't even have to try much. I could set up new traps almost whenever I wanted so when one guy died and he dropped his stuff I could run up and scavenge, then run back to my hiding spot and let some other sucker come along and find tons of good items just laying there unguarded. A couple of my enemies at times got really suspicious and just avoided it altogether. Anyways sorry for the long winded rant, I just wanted to share my experience of making CRSED players lives hell during my time playing the game. I sure won a lot of games that way. I was once ahead of the curve pulling dirty tricks, but I eventually got passed up and the fridge traps didn't work the same way anymore😂
What's wild is that steam still sells dead games. I played this online game called Section 8 for a few weeks years and years ago. It was like a Halo-type game with pretty fun multiplayer, but I quickly got bored and forgot about it. I saw it in my steam library recently and went to the store page. STEAM STILL HAS IT FOR SALE. The servers shut down ten years ago, it's online only, why is it still for sale?
I had a friend gift Intuder to me and after playing it for just under 2 hours, I politely asked him to refund it (because he was a kid with not much money). He wasn't friends with me for much longer after that. I did really like that crouch walking uses stamina, because crouch walking isn't easy to do in real life and no other game has ever done that
Dead games scratch the same itch as lost media for me. This is great. What a treasure trove. And a British creator too, nice to hear my own accent and similar attitudes in a video.
Infestetion feels like a 10 year old game because it pretty much is. It was called WarZ and it released when Dayz was very popular and everyone was playing zombie survival games, looks like they just added a battle royale mode.
Infestation felt like it was made in 2010 because it was, it was called WarZ back in the day, it was one of those survival games like DayZ before DayZ got a standalone game
Watching this video brought back a bunch of nostalgia for Jim Sterling's old steam dumpster diving videos. God I miss the old era of content of theirs. It really did just start going downhill after the lawsuit ended.
Infestation: War Stories was actually a good game called WarZ released in 2012, It had a pretty active player base and was one of the first zombie survival games besides DayZ, as time passed PvP servers came and hackers came, with the rise of Local PvP servers & mods, game started to die day by day, also they got sued for the name so they changed to Infestation. It was fun AF to hold the bank with fortifications and pvp all night until the sunrise.
Intruder is still very much active and alive, i bought it and played a ton of it back before it was on steam, its the only game ive ever see do stealth PvP and actually work. development is slow, and it's never gonna be a massive mainstream game with 10k viewers on twitch, but i also dont think its gonna completely die out any time soon. also cliffside is the most developed/well tested/polished map, im honestly surprised you didnt see it, its what most servers run in my experience.
Intruder is a wonderful game, the playerbase is pretty small for what it is but it’s a loyal playerbase and you’ll often recognise people from playing it a previous day
I used to play Infestation back at its initial launch. That game has gotten 500 re-releases, and has gotten even more hackers. Back in the day it was relatively popular, and had a lot less hackers and was actually a decent alternative to a survival game (Back at this state, Infestation was ONLY an open world survival game.)
I played "Infestation" in its heyday, this game was very popular here in Brazil but it ended up changing its name several times, in the past it was called "WarZ"
I remember as a kid playing postal 2 on my old AMD athlon + geforce2 PC. I actually managed to finish it, its was fun for that time cuz I had nothing better to do. We didn't have internet back then.
I saw CRSED the first time and was striken by how the terrain design and foliage, even the sound was so similar to ENLISTED (the game which I had burned so much hour). Then saw comments that the game was an april fools event before ENLISTED came out.
Infestation was in fact made in 2010 (or atleast close) it shut down for somereason and then the devs re-launched the game a year later (not too sure how long but about a year). I played it when it was new and it got a few updates and then nothing was ever added again to the game, and this is what the devs are keeping alive (or atleast trying to) the zombie (survival mode) is better in my opinion even tho they added clan wars or something that was kinda strange (and the game is not that great on its own), game was alright but about 10 people are online at a time world wide so its not worth playing anymore.
Game was out in 2012 as WarZ, then changed to Infestation in 2013. They got hacked and every files could be found on internet, so people started to create emulators. Game died in 2016 and one of the people behind one emulator buyed the licence. It's called NewZ, there is Infestation Survivor Stories 2020, The NewZ and NewZ Battle Royale on Steam. They all share the same servers and it's the same game. There is pretty much 300/400 players everyday.
Infestation in the past was great game. Legends like dakotaz and summit born there. We have a lot of fun playing this game, clanwars and more. Great times
Idk if anyone has said anything, but actually Infestation is a re-release of a 2012 game called WarZ. The game IS from 2010, 2012 to be exact. I used to play it before I got out of high school, and met some friends on it before we moved on to good games. lol
Cool video. Randomly reminded me of a dino game I played for a very short time like 8-9 years ago called Orion. Got me feeling super nostalgic somehow... Also it just made me install it and play it again for like 3 and a half hours before I could even finish posting this comment ^^
Game recommendation: Gore: Ultimate Soldier The game introduced kinda a new idea to shooters: stamina. The company was also trying to sell a new game engine, but it didn't take off.
So, for history about Infestation... WarZ ( 2012 ) started as a spin off of the game War Inc : Battlezone.( 2011 ). They both use the nightshade engine. War Inc Devs left to go make a new studio, Hammerpoint Interactive under OP Productions, with game director Sergey Titov. Due to trademark issues with paramount pictures over World War Z. This is when they switched to Infestation : Survivor Stories. in 2013, due to a massive hack on one of the game servers and forums, they we able to release the entire code for the game. A lot of spin offs to the game came out, one of them, being run by a modder, Fredakis. Fred was really good and showed massive support for the game. With that, OP Productions backed him while Sergey and his teamed moved on to their next dumpster fire, Romeros After Math. Fred's game was then named " Infestation : A NewZ " and released in 2016. Since then, Sergey has been trying to use nightshade engine to release new games to scam people ( just like he did with WarZ ). Hes behind outbreak new dawn, new frontier, shattered skies, and only rumors he is behind Magnificent 5 ( a Free Reigns Entertainment ) i have no idea why this is named infestation 2020 on it, but its literally the same ported game was back in 2012-2015. Sergey just gets angry about steam reviews and since the mods got caught banning people in game over steam reviews, and got delisted for it, they just decided to release them every now and again to get the bad reviews up. BTW, H1Z1 ( The original H1Z1 that was renamed Just Survive ) will always be home and that trash " Green Dawn " aka King of the Kill AKA Renamed H1Z1 will never be the true game.
Infestation was in fact a game named WarZ from 2012 and it was survival mmofps free for all pvp with dedicated servers with progression on characters etc.
Fun fact: the Devs for the games aside from Postal 3 released an UPDATE for Postal2 a while back that added an Easter egg poking fun at both Postal 3 and Gamestop.
Infestation isn't really a 2020 game. I remember back in 2012, I was already playing a game called Infestation that I had bought on sale for $0.99. They just seemed to love re-releasing the same game as free-to-play under a different name, but absolutely nothing changed, whether it's the graphics, animations, or sound. It brought back some good memories to see this game again.
I used to love playing CRSED with my friend back when it was called Cuisine Royale. It was a weird wacky game and we made it to the top 100 players in EU. It was awesome, and I am a bit sad to see it go, but it never got the support it needed to last sadly.

Play it more! This. Game. Must. Live! Like seriously, it's brilliant amongst the rocks.

I was saying to myself this is literally just enlisted
Yeah, i suspected it's a Gaijin games, because just how the menu looked
CRSED existed before enlisted as Cruisine Royale which over time turned into Enlisted

Intruder is still very much alive. You just wont find players in the middle of the night if you're EU/US. It is a smaller community, but you can still very reliably find a few full servers, especially on the weekend.
The game isn't alive if you can't find players at all times of day
Even though a small community still being one, a dead game is literally that, one with very few players

it would be interesting to explore the ruins of whatever players left in dead servers of Ark or Conan. i did it many times and its both fascinating and eerie. hundreds of fantastic creations left to rot, destroyed by a battle or just abbandoned. all those dinos just waiting for a master that will never come back. its really something.
"Waiting for a master that will never come back" hit me harder than it should've
They are purely code on a screen but the idea of ark dinosaurs sitting idly for months waiting for players who don't give them a second thought really burns

Intruder is actually insanely fun with friends
Avid CRSED enjoyer here, figured I’d leave my 2 cents in hopes of attracting more players:
-The fights that go down are unreal. A fast TTK combined with high speed movement and OTT character abilities make for some of the most competitive and entertaining fights in any shooter game
-CRSED is 100x more active on console than it is on PC, and a mobile version has just recently been released for Android and iOS if that’s something you’re into
-Players can utilise a number of different rituals that have an effect on everybody in your lobby. Some of these rituals include giving everybody a Jetpack for 40 seconds, activating a Zombie Apocalypse, Low Gravity, Meteor Showers, turning all toilets into portals, zero recoil and so on
-Players can also pick and choose a set of Traps to assist them in battle. Some of the Traps include a Jump Pad and Push Right trap (these are amazing for movement), 2 Teleport pads that you can teleport between wherever and whenever you want, Traps that recharge your stamina and health, a bush to camouflage yourself in, Frag Grenade Traps that activate when you walk nearby them, even one that summons a Dementor from Harry Potter that goes around fucking everyone up
-The only real downsides are that when this game rebranded from Cuisine Royale to CRSED, it pretty much became pay-to-win for any newcomers. Your best bet is to ask a streamer for advice (LatvianOutplayTV is a great example) or watch some UA-cam videos uploaded by active players such as myself
Hope to see some of you checking it out and hopefully sticking around!

Intruder goes hard with the boys. Perfect LAN party typa game. Silly gadgets and wacky strats.
I got unreasonably excited when Airport Simulator 2014 popped up. Watching NerdCubed play that almost a decade ago was brilliant.
Crazy man I haven’t thought about it in years
What about ship simulator
@phantomaviator1318 I remember that video too.
Man that was a while ago...
The ones I always remember from him are when he flew that hot air balloon and of course surgeon simulator 😆
Man I still re-watch Nerd Completes Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 every few years, straight up a core memory.
The game goes on sale for 50% fairly often tho
i used to play infestation back when it was just an open world zombie survival, it was chill, it has actually been around for about 5 years
The original actually came out in 2012
*Infestation* is one of the best game I ever played, I played it in Asia when I was 9 y. And this game is more than 10 years old is just that you play the new stories from 2020.
I’m shocked to see infestation. That was a crazy game back in the day. Originally was called WarZ and spawned H1Z1 which in a way seem to spawned the BR craze. It was so good when it first came out.
it was really bad back then too, but there were no other games like it besides dayz mod at the time.
Yeah I really digged it and played a lot back in 2012/2013. The disrespect when he said the game is barely 2 years old😂
The BR craze was mostly because of minecraft's hunger games, after that, everyone hopped into the BR trend
"everyone hopped on" you are aware that h1z1 was the only BR besides hunger games and OG pubg mod for arma 2 for like 3-4 years? h1z1 was only out for less than a year before it started having competitors though.@@LuixWalkingDead21
Great times on that game
Infestation was the old WarZ from 2012, that had other name and they moded up to become WarZ, then it became infestation in 2018 and died completely, they just changed the name and called it a day.
I remember wanting to play Intruder so bad after seeing Criken do videos on it years ago- shame to see it on a dead games list but you're completely right, that's quite a high price for the game. I'm sure there's enough content/promise to justify the price even at an in-development stage but I feel like it's time has come and gone, unless they decide to do a marketing push in the future (sponsored streams/videos and whatnot). It seems like a really good game, but ultimately forgotten to time with it being in development/out for so long
They wont the devs are super fucking stupid and dont believe marketing is the issue when it very clearly is
Great to see your channel growing! I knew from the beginning that you were going to make it big. Keep up the hard work!
Intruder is actually super excellent. Our group has a blast with it when there are enough of us on.
Wasnt expecting to see intruder here! One of my fave games ever. It got brought to steam pretty recently which boosted the playerbase tonnes it was dead for years, there is even a pro league which i was able to play in all community run :)
Crsed is really fun. Havent played it in a while but now I got the tingles again
CRSED is so fun, played it with 2 friends on PS5 and man, the wacky movement and abilities definitely will give you a good time…
As a proud intruder player, I officially declare that this game is extremely fun and varied(community maps).
Nah, i bought this game in like 2011 and the game was first named WarZ and later they changed to Infestation when the movie came out.
@@WdoubleyouWi also remember the game coming first, but the movie was based on a book of the same name which is what i believe led them to suing over the naming rights
@@WdoubleyouWthe game came out the 14th of october 2012 and was named WarZ, they've changed the name in the 2013 summer because of the movie :)

Intruder can actually be really fun if you have a group of buddies to play it with. Spent a lot of time doing dumb stuff in that game lol
I remember playing Infestation back when it was called WarZ, it was decent, but full of hackers everywhere.
Dude...when CRSED was Cuisine Royale, I would play it all the time. It was so much fun! It's crap now. P.S. That's where the CR in CRSED comes from.

Infestation is actually from like 2011 or something like that. It was rebranded from WarZ to Infestation. Used to be a good game back in 2012-2013 but due to cheaters, performance issues, and a lack of care from the devs, it died quickly.
I didn't even realise CRESD and Enlisted use the same engine
Yeah it’s because gaijin loves to re use everything for their games
Infestation Survivor stories was made in 2012 or something like that. It started out as WarZ.
I have to say it was incredibly odd to see the enlisted ui and sounds in CRSED. I don't know how they are related but I know they must be
They are made by the same guys Gaijin they also made warthunder
It was basically a test game for the making of Enlisted when it was first in the making.
CRSED was a joke game and the actual stuff of the game (weapons, engine, movement, etc.) was ported to Enlisted, which is still in support.
i love intruder, glad it can get some more exposure from you, hopefully the servers fill up a bit now!
infestation survivor stories was back in the days my favorite game of all time
I miss Cuisine Royale so much, it was 10/10 BR game for me, sadly it turned into CRSED and died shortly because of stupid unnecessary superpowers and other shit
It absolutely was. Used to be so much fun
Yup it was awesome around 2018-19, i used to play it daily but sadly those updates with special characters and drifting away from the goofy aesthetic made it just not fun anymore
Bro when they had it on game pass it was the fuckin best
yup when it was just cuisine royale it was fucking amazing and started going downhill immediately after they named it crsed, i checked once and the drop in players perfectly lines up with the rebrand. also that being said the werewolf power 10/10 lol
I'm here to say it's still very much a fun and competitive game. Maybe not on PC but on console, the leaderboards are still a huge competition and there alot of people playing, i don't play any other games
17:01 best showcase of a gameplay "alright i take a short cut" jumps off a train 😂
Its a good day when Rye uploads
An underrated very, very good online shooter was 'Mag' back in the day. One of my friends was so dedicated he played right up to when the servers were shut down.
10:55 H1Z1 was a fever dream to me I vividly remember the Alpha which made it look spooky and ominous but the final product was just a clusterfuck 😂
I remember pre-ordering Infestation way back in the day - the beta was actually fun, but I remember vividly the first day I played the 'real' game everybody in the server was spawning at the same spawn point and the first few people out were camping fresh spawns. Refunded and never looked back.
the newz game is not 2 yrs old the game was called warz (infestation survivor stories) and was released back in 2012 it was really popular amongst big streamers like summit and others... but sadly hackers took over it n it died.. newz is just a plane copy of it
intruder is great, worth the money too cos it gets frequent updates and devs care about the game
Intruder isn't really "Dead" Its community is very close knit, its always the same people
I used to enjoy playing infestation back in the days, I got a bit over 200 hours on it and I can say that before it died out it was a pretty fun game. Especially the survival one with zombies and players, I’ve had many good moments with infestation throughout the years :D
I'll still never forget the stress of having a shit load of good loot and having to run for like an hour back to the safe zone without getting slaughtered
Watching you play Postal 3 and it made me wonder the kinda things Civvie would call you cause damn dood are you a gaming journalist?
The first one uses ALOT of the same assets as enlisted, idk if they bought the same but that house caught me off guard as I have fought in that dozens of times.
Infestation survival stories used to be called warz, a zombie survival game that was vaguely an extraction shooter, there were safe areas on the map with player stashes, you would go out looting different places for gear and come back with whatever you looted to one of the settlements, you were never out of the map unlike other popular extraction shooters.
that game in the start was just like Enlisted but crap. every thing was copy the maps the world war 2 weponds EVERYTHING
Yeah..
OMG, the airport simulator is so accurate it melts my brain
There is also a long-forgotten game- BRINK.
It’s so cool to see these dead games. It’s like experiencing lost civilization cities or something. Part of history.
Wow this is the most creative video ive ever seen. UA-cam has really hit its peak with content like this
Intruder is a wonderful game, the playerbase is pretty small for what it is but it’s a loyal playerbase and you’ll often recognise people from playing it a previous day
I used to play Infestation back at its initial launch.
Infestation came out in 2012, not 2021. It was a survival game competing with DayZ, until they rebranded it to whatever it is now.
I used to play it before I got out of high school, and met some friends on it before we moved on to good games. lol
"Looks like somewhere in coventry"
Absolutely howling😂😂😂
yo that character model in the first game was jacked af the back was crazy
12:06 "Balding so young, fucking hell it's Erobb" good one lol, Wonky catching Ls even in dead games
Cool video. Randomly reminded me of a dino game I played for a very short time like 8-9 years ago called Orion. Got me feeling super nostalgic somehow...
Also it just made me install it and play it again for like 3 and a half hours before I could even finish posting this comment ^^
Game recommendation: Gore: Ultimate Soldier
The game introduced kinda a new idea to shooters: stamina.
Hes behind outbreak new dawn, new frontier, shattered skies, and only rumors he is behind Magnificent 5 ( a Free Reigns Entertainment )
i have no idea why this is named infestation 2020 on it, but its literally the same ported game was back in 2012-2015.
Mans out here reviewing games no one was ever gonna buy anyway. I guess Some heroes do indeed not wear capes.
I have always loved Intruder, and recently one of my Favorite streamers has been hosting lobbies which has to be helping it survive.
What streamer?
@@apsvabob4337 Chilled Chaos, he has taken a bit of a break from it bit for a few months he was playing weekly.
"I would rather buy Winrar" That is a roast I was not expecting. 10/10 Would read again.
Infestation Survivor Stories is coming from WarZ back in 2012-2013. It was an amazing game !
Infestation was in fact a game named WarZ from 2012 and it was survival mmofps free for all pvp with dedicated servers with progression on characters etc.
i forgot i even left that one revelations 2012 review but this is definitely a way to be reminded it exists
"Would rather buy WinRAR" had me laughing so hard. The most underrated joke of the true PC users.
Intruders was great. Funnily enough the mansion map is one of the very first ones.
Double Action: Boogaloo.
a true 2016 classic
