Hi Jeff, love your videos and content.
I got a SG906 MAX1 (gold version) with 3 batteries for $294 (with free shipping).
It has very sensitive 360 degree "obstacle avoidance" (basically stops the drone from about 20 feet away and lets you fly back, over or around), 3-axis gimble, image stabilization, very nice photos and videos (hi res to SD card and lower res to phone/tablet memory, simultaneously and automatic once one presses record or takes a photo) real GPS that works well and fast, very nice controller with real telemetry display, simple and easy app, reliable return to home, very good range and little to no glitches on app FPV and none on SD recordings with a good "U3" Sandisk SD card. The range is steady 400-500 meters in a high-interference area, easily 2-3 kilometers in open areas.
The drone is very steady in up to moderate winds (15 mph or so, more than that it's iffy but still flyable in hi-speed mode with good skill, and the return to home is reliable if things get hairy).
Now it's about the same price with three 5000 mAh batteries, but they just came out with an upgraded SG906 MAX2 with a better camera and even more range.
You should look into it, the SG906 MAX1 makes the drone you reviewed looks really bad in comparison, price/performance wise and across the board.

@@JeffSibelius XiL manufactures the drone, it's sold and badged mostly as ZLL Beast 3+ MAX1, but there are a few variants like the EQB Gold version which is the one I have.
