Ruko U11 Pro: FULL Detailed Review of Ruko's Newest Beginner-friendly Drone

- Having recently reviewed their F11 Gim, Ruko reached back out to me and asked if I would also do a review of their new beginner-friendly U11 Pro. This model lacks some of the bells and whistles of their more advanced drones which brings its price down and makes it a great choice for those who are just getting into flying.
I put the U11 Pro through its paces to find out if it really is as great of a beginner drone as Ruko is advertising it to be. Whether you just bought a U11 Pro or you're just doing research, I hope this thorough setup and review video is helpful for you guys!

Ive been flying tshe the u11 pro for about a year now. Actually on my 3rd one 😂 like you said ruko is amazing to work with and super helps. Best tutorial video I've seen on the net and UA-cam. I had some questions that was answered in your video thank you. The biggest issue I had was orbit and way points flights and of course the maps issue again thank you for the amazing info. I look forward to better flights with the new info you covered. Thanks again!

Great video!! I just got my first drone. I had the same problem with lack of kill switch. I flew the drone in the garage and crashed. One blade arm was stuck on a car tire and the other 3 blade arms were still spinning slowly.
Overall a great drone!

Thanks so much for the review! I have been trying to find the off switch as I have crashed a couple of times and have not been able to stop the motors. Now I know there is not one something I will definitely consider when I upgrade.

thanks for the review, I just got mine, but seen your video I don't like the camera the image is far away and you barely see the person or the object. another thin is that doesn't have any sensor. thanks again for the review.

Great video I just got the U11 . (Won it) LOL. I'm a first time flying. What I don't understand is that the U11 says to turn on controller first then drone. Why would the 11pro have it done opposite . 🤔
Great review, I'm not sure if I need to contact Ruko but when I flew mine today for the first time I realized after pressing the "One Button Return " I just climbed I altitude a bit and it displayed "Return to home" and was beeping but it just sat there and hovered in one spot for several minutes. I finally pressed the button again to disengage that function and proceeded to fly it a bit more. I tried the Return function but it did the same thing and just hovered. Ok and thoughts would be great. And thank you for reviewing. 👍
Did you set home position at take off?

I'm kind of cheating here. I got this drone for Christmas but I can't do anything until Christmas. So, I'm learning all I can about this U11 so as to cut the learning curve as best I can. Very informative! Thank you.

Got mine for Christmas but still haven't flown it yet cuz of the horrible weather in Massachusetts
I have been struggling to find an inexpensive drone for my kid that won't make us both beat our heads against the wall. He is a decent flier and responsible for his age, but I can't see throwing down for a DJI Mini 2 yet (he is 8). He has spent is own hard earned money on several piece of junk (most recently the sky viper GPS which we never got to sync with new iOS) and unfortunately, after a lot of tears, Target won't take it back. Any suggestions? Be nice to keep it under $200, if possible.

This is off topic but... What do you think of the Quad Air drone, or have you tried it?
How far does it get wifi signal. Important thing you didn't cover. Or I might have missed.
Regarding the visual.
I purchased mine for 279.99. Withn coupon 268.99. The coupon takes off the total price with taxes and everything. The coupon code is misleading.

Sorry to hear that. I recommend contacting Ruko directly. In my experience they have awesome customer service and always make it right if there's a problem with the drone itself.
I would buy the new F11 drone myself at the same price. Can even get it cheaper on banggood

For many years I have flew airplanes helicopters quadcopters and drones I've even flew quadcopters when they were just about came out a year later still got some parts and Miss Lena's items to some of them no they don't fly no more but I still got the frame and a few parts. All right I won't get into all of it it's good to see that somebody else lives in Northwest Florida maybe could get out to your airfield one day thank you have a good day
