Agree with this list. I think Two Face is more appealing overall, as it has heavy Hybrid Theory vibes, but the chorus in The Emptiness Machine is just too good
@@fabricioreis424 everyone has their own opinions some will like Heavy is the Crown more some will like The Emptiness Machine more, for example I agree with the main comment
1. The Emptiness Machine; 2. Two Faced; 3. Heavy is the Crown; 4. Over Each other. Video for Two Faced tops among their videosall time. There is a moment in the video where Brad and Phoenix are standing next to each other....what a moment after ages!
“cover” casual Linkin Park fans (usually Chester-only fans) always got the weirdest and most negative opinions of this new age of Linkin Park. the fans that go to LP concerts, know each member, listen to LP every day.. those fans are way more accepting of this new music. if you know how the songs are made, know the influence that’s been had on each Lp song, you would know changing the singer doesn’t change the song from being a Linkin Park song. Chester didn’t even write most of the lyrics for goodness sake lmfao
The excitement is at 10,000 THIS SONG IS 🔥🔥🔥🔥 1) Two Faced 2) Emptiness Machine 3) Heavy Is The Crown 4) Over Each Other The order does not mean I enjoy them any less, they are all amazing in their own rights
mine 1- emptiness machine (big fan of the melodies harmonies and chorus) 2- two faced (super solid, only criticism is that the chorus gets a but too repetitive/its a bit generic) 3- heavy is the crown (i dont like the chorus very much but the rest is solid) 4- over each other- (its objectively a very solid song, it just doesnt fit for my personal taste as much as the others) wait ours is the same lol thats funny also 1:24 her dance is so goofy i love it
1) Two Faced 2) Over Each Other 3) Emptiness Machine 4) Heavy is the Crown But in saying that, I'm in NZ, so I've listened to the whole album about 3 hours ago. Bangers top to bottom!
I do not think more stuff about Emily needs to come out on a more positive light for people to change their opinion about her. Anyone that has properly done their homework knows that any negative stories about her have very little weight and therefore can be ignored.
Thats the problem, no one bothers to do their own work and will listen to their favorite mouthpiece and promote those bad things even after shown proof of it not being true
For me the songs right now actually rank like: 1. Heavy is the Crown (1. place shared) 1. Over Each Other (1. place shared) 3. Two Faced 4. The Emptiness Machine
My preorder should be in by tomorrow 🔥 Also ima need that Allt jacket my boi 🔫 edit: Saw Linkin Park last Friday and holy fuck they ripped. Gots to see them bro
I've been listening to the leaked album since Monday, Overflow is my favourite by far. If you like A Thousand Suns, and the album Mezzanine by Massive Attack you'll like that one, its really atmospheric and unique, the stand out for me Casualty and IGYEIH are amazing too, the heaviest songs on the album Cut the Bridge is basically Bleed it Out 2.0, it'll be a fun one live Good Things Go is the closer and it sounds like something from Mike's solo album Post Traumatic, and Emily hits insanely high notes, it's gonna be tough for her to sing this one live, Chester never even went as high as she goes here Stained is okay, it's a One More Light style pop song it'll probably be the least popular, I like Mike's verses though and the booming bass, it's still interesting and unique sounding despite the OML pop sound Over Each Other is definitely the most generic song on the album , that song plays it too sa Also, who cares if she's a scientologist, only the music matters
Casualty is great. I always wanted to know what LP would sound like doing Hardcore and now I know. It's as good as figured it would be. Now I'm waiting for the House MD intro with Overflow playing instead.
It's not JUST Emily on why it feels different.. To me, the band hit it big because they did what THEY wanted to do.. Now, it feels like they're doing what the label wants. The videos seem more 'commercialized' and the 'heart' of the songs isn't there.. With OLD LP, each video was done in a different style in which most cases you could pick out a few things that were 'cutting edge' that nobody else had done before.. This video looks like throwback Limp Bizkit, and least impressive of the four..
@Pedro-h8m9h Umm.. Where did I ever imply that I did? I'm simply stating what I hear as opposed to LP's old sound.. The quality of the videos they used to put out. It's nowhere near the same from an overall aspect, and not JUST because of Emily..
i would say it’s opposite. they’ve said in interviews that since HT/Meteora their label is less involved (at least when it comes to the artistic direction) since they know the band can put out successful records. the videos so far have all been directed by Joe whereas in the earlier videos he wasn’t fully on his own. i think this is era and style is just different. more fun and relaxed. theyre not trying to prove anything, just enjoying their return to music.
@@rosariohc2448 To each their own.. I'm not saying that it's bad, and I'm not saying Emily doesn't fit.. It just doesn't have the same feeling.. I'm not inspired like 'This is not the End' or 'Breaking the Habit'.. I'm not introspective like 'Iridescent' or 'Catalyst', and I'm not even empathetic like 'Numb' or 'Somewhere I Belong' On that front, for me personally, it's been rather ho-hum.. Nothing that really invokes any type of 'feeling'..
@@jasonrusbuldt317 yea thats fine. i was just trying to refute that i dont think it has anything to do with the label. this is just the type of music they wanted to make this time. to me its kinda like when they did living things (a more more fun, less “deep” and less complex album, after suffering through ATS lmao)
Is it just me or some of her screams sound weird like right at the beginning it’s like shaking or something like she couldn’t sustain it. I’ve heard heavy is the crown so I know she can do it so it might be some weird stylistic choice but it sounds jarring to me idk

They've also done "Casualty" but it was a live performance back on the 8th.
It is the stage that the announcement show was performed on.

This gives me one step closer vibes right here, somebody needs to do a mashup of both songs.

This is not even the heaviest song on the album.
Wait till you hear I Gave You Everything I Had
Casuality too
Don't you mean wait until you hear Casualty? It's being described as the hardest song on the album and potentially hardest song they've ever done.
You should most definitely go check them out live if you have a chance. I went to the Dallas show and it was awesome man. LP put on a 2 hour show.

This was solid but Emptiness Machine has a different feel. Torn
