Welcome back to The Tale of The Iron Snail and the clothing brand! Today we are going to see Ralph at Weather Wool (Weather Wool vs. Filson coming very soon), then we are going to Bergdorf Goodman to meet with Bruce Park and Taylor Stitch, THEN we are talking rubber manufacturing, and finally, I'm getting some acne! You should make some affordable 1930’s Melton wool work jackets. Every company making repros of those jackets charge $400 and over. Make them in the original cut shorter cut it would sell like hot cakes amongst the vintage and jacket enthusiast community.

So funny I’ve been really interested in weatherwool for ages but never really been able to justify one. If you can make something like an affordable Filson Mackinaw made out of WeatherWool that would be something!
My dream garment is a Mackinaw Cruiser (slightly fitted and pockets that actually work with gloves) in WeatherWool fabric. Take over the world with that.

Should you make anything with a collar, make that collar dramatic. Far too many shops these days are still making their shirts and jackets (and shackets) with the dinky two inch collars. Don't be afraid of four inch beast. Make it like a dog's ear!! We'll love you for it.

A good wool coat should have 2 Layers minimum over the majority of the coat ala the Double Mackinaw Cruiser Jacket from Filson.
