I LOVE you guys. I have said it before...Zatara is good but I like you guys so much better. I think UA-cam must be waiting for Rob in a Speedo to really promote you. That is the only thing I can figure. Ivan is always the entertainer so he is obviously carrying the channel. lol Cheers!
I see Ivan and Ollie share an offbeat sense of humor; bring it on! So, you will go to Sri Lanka -- birthplace of _serendipity_ , subject of one of your early videos -- in the end. Good show, guys!
Ivan and Ollie worked well together, it's been great for Ivan having Ollie around. Wish I had caught more of their humour although some of it needed to be censored.
Yes I would agree with the comment on the speed of zatara. Still admire what they have done but if your doing it once do it right. But again everyone has different ideas of what they want to see and do. Take nothing away from both of these families and the adventures they have provided their kids. Hats off to both families.
We travel to experience the culture and meet the people, which takes time. We spoke to Keith this week and he said Europe is proving to be more expensive than they thought so I think we have made the right decision.
Ivan and Ollie..👏👏👏your doing an amazing job..Rob😳why are you not wearing safety glasses 🥽.. welcome back to your ⛵️Rachael.. those 🐵are scary..( rabid)…so pleased you have got to spoil yourselves at the resort 🍛🍹🍹🧋☀️
Do be cautious around the monkeys. Riley on LaVagabonde got bitten in either Thailand or Vietnam grabbing one of the kids that the monkey was approaching. The monkey charged him. He had to have the rabies shots and it was pretty dodgy! I do not understand why you don't have 100K followers! C'mon Kiwis!! Welcome back Rachel & Happy Birthday!
Another great episode Kiwi family! A great marina/boatyard and absolutely beautiful resort but watch out for those monkeys. You definitely don't want to end up like Riley from SLV who had to fight them off... 😁
Love the Shades Ivan. I really enjoy seeing work done on boats. Well done Ivan and Oliie, not forgetting Rob. You are in a beautiful area of the world and it's nice to see Rachel back. Happy Birthday. Yes the U.K. is cold. As interesting and varied as usual like many others I look forward to your videos. Keep well and safe. James.
Had you guys gone for the Red Sea passage to the Med you'd have arrived round about the time the Houthis started firing and then you'd have been well and truly stuck so good call his!
Hey Adam. 👋 yeah probably good timing indeed. I see several boats are still doing the red sea now so when we leave Thailand heading west soon we may still go that way.
I am voting for exploring Asia, lots more countries and not many of the cruisers go to those locations. Looks like a beautiful place to do work. Like Woody from Mothership adrift said "cruising is doing boat maintenance in exotic locations".
What a great place to do boat work. Isn't that what they say cruising is about? Doing boat work in exotic places? Those monkeys looked very concerned about what Ollie was doing up the mast.
The joys of boatwork. I had a little incident last summer with our runabout and I have a little bit of fiberglass work that I have been putting off for way to long!!
Another great episode. Looks like the “boys” actually did some work while the boss was away! Not sure about the extra paint job on the hull though!🤣😂😉🤔. When is Ivan getting his own stand up comedy show?
Ivan and Ollie have been great, I couldn't have done it all without them. It's been very easy having Ollie on board to help out, he and Ivan have got on like a house on fire. Unfortunately I missed most of their boy banter. They were very funny together.
I enjoyed Rachel's welcome back video. It appears the boys enjoy helping Rob. I found that opening my eyes wider and even having more light seems to make reading like it use to be! Rachel hit it on the nose though. Glasses make things sharper.
I don't know if enjoy would be the word they would choose but they have been wonderful to have around. The deal may have been sweetened with a bit of pocket money 🙂.
@@TheCruisingKiwis That's less than $9 an hour! You got a good deal. That includes room/board food and drink.. lol I would hire them at that rate. Nobody rides for free, such as life.

Great episode!! Rob, I know how you feel with the glasses, I finally gave in and have some now, it's amazing how clear things are, maybe you just got used to not seeing everything clearly. Great to have you all back in the sameish time zone. Ivans story and The Nappy!!!! OMG 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I did try a pair of off the rack glasses at one point but lost them. I only really needed them for reading so I would forget to book an appointment with the optometrist until the evening, when I was picking up my book, by then everything was closed. But they do feel that they have come right again.
Aaaahhhh!!! I just spent a week painting the interior of a home for an odd job. I still have paint in my hair, and I'm having flashbacks! I need a resort getaway 😂 Beautiful video as usual!
Welcome back to the family Rachel. And always good to see the kiwi go barefoot: maybe a pair of jandals would be easier to lug around instead of shoes? And loved the out-takes 🤣 Thanks for the laughs guys

Happy Birthday Rachel!! Rob, I have experienced the similar thing with my vision. For over 10 years I needed readers, then my eyes did a flip flop. I was able to read completely fine, but had issues seeing distance. Now it’s bifocals time, and just found out I have cataracts. Sometimes it is tough getting old. 🤓🥴❤
