Good to see you go back to the roots of Creek Fishing Adventures, John! Its like watching one of your original videos!! :-) Good stuff and God bless! :-)
I just started fishing IRL after playing fishing planet on PC for 4 - 5 months. The only spot around me in walking distance is the James run and Bynum run in harford county, MD. I took some cues from your small creek fishing and I have to be honest… Creek fishing feels sacred to me now. There is something hallow about walking up the stream and feeling/being a part of it all. The bubbling whisper of the creek with thousands of fish every 100 ft. Watching them flock around and checking out their little bungalows under the sides of the bank carved out by strong rainstorms, erosion, and the fish just harboring in them. the occasional bird or fox visit. the call of the wild. You get to watch the behavior of the fish so you have an example/illustration for what’s happening under opaque water.
And like you’ve said before, streams and creeks run rampant through this country. Tendrils branching out like the arteries and veins of a heart. Does anyone have a resource that shows only bodies of water on a map? Trying to find creeks and lesser known streams.
Love the long form videos, especially when it’s 42 outside and every creek/river around me is chocolate milk. Thanks for keeping the itch scratched until I can get back out there
Great video man what is you’re favorite fish to catch when you’re going fishing and also have you played The video game called Fishing Planet keep on fishing You’re the best fishing content creator ever to exist Keep on making great fishing videos 😊
❤ I see your expanded knowledge of fish is good. I enjoy watch your videos and think you're a lot better than those who are fishing Bass predominantly and those who mostly selling are junk.
With it getting so much colder here in Georgia and there in Tennessee its nice seeing those warmer months of wading creeks that i love to do in the Spring and Summer months!
Watching this video has made me want to go out and fish some of my local creeks. We got plenty in Maryland and I'm really close to the bush and susquehanna rivers. Def looking forward to some action like this, but I doubt I'll have anywhere near the success you got in this video lol.
Hey John new prescriber thinking you guys don't have pumpkin seed in your creeks from Missouri can't keep them off my hooks. Seeing your videos got me back in the creeks small rivers. THANK YOU SIR. KEEP THE VIDEO'S COMING🛶🛶🛶🛶🛶🛶
I remember seeing all of thee before. Good stufff! So John: have you ever considered setting up 2 or 3 aquariums and taking some of these smaller fish home to raise for a year or 2? I know you mention the fact that some of them would be perfect size to take home and keep in an aquarium. It would be a really neat little segment to add to a specific day of the week video. "Fish Feeeding Fridays".. or something along those lines. Just a thought. I still want to do that myself but have no place to set one up in my current home. So it would be cool to see some grow and be able to check in on them once a week or so. (Kind of like Bama Bass and his pet fish.) Blessings!
@@CreekFishingAdventuresremember: aquarium fishes need taking care of. If you have pets, you can’t leave to go fish other places for very long….it’s a preverbal anchor.

Great vid, John! Definitely inspiring to get out on the smaller creeks with my UL. Up here in Canada we most definitely have LM Bass, at least here in Ontario. They’re in our lakes and rivers. We basically have all the same fish you do, except for Spotted Bass and all your Red Eye Bass. Cheers man.
When I was a kid, I was fortunate enough to have creeks like that within bicycle distance. My mind says “I should do that again”, but my arthritic old bones say “no”😆
Really enjoyed this mini series of creek fishing especially with the weather we are having, you used many rod combo's which one would recommend that worked the best? 👍
Interesting you catch more large mouth in your creeks. Im in southwest ohio and the river i fish small mouths for days i hit up the tributary creeks and i catch large mouths? Once in awhile a large from a river or smallie from a creek but not often. Just an interesting pattern you made me notice.
in tennessee, we have creeks that only have smallmouth and some that only have largemouth, and some have spotted bass mixed in. Depends on what part of tn you are
What I would be interested in is how you read maps/ google earth to determine access. Thanks and great as always! That would be a easier video for you without having to be actually out there. I know I would like a video like what I am talking about. Those minnows would be great to keep for bigger fish as you well know!
@@CreekFishingAdventures Do you use any specific app to know if is public or private land? Almost like the hunting apps? TY for your great clean content safe for the little ears as well.
at 2:58, it looks like 30,000,000 fish swimming by in the right hand side! Great vid.
Love this! I can watch your videos all day-perfect for days when I can’t get out myself

All my close creeks and small rivers have soft bottoms and deep banks. How far do you generally drive to do your small stream wade fishing?
Hey just ran across your channel, I see you fish a lot of places I go. I’m in Fayetteville TN.
