they are fun but its like topwater fishing, they getba lot of hits but sometimes the hookup is hard

firetiger is a late 80s color .i used to to use the manns crankbaits and bomber craw pattern .then found 5 the storm wigglewart .before the squarebill. was born. lol

I have rebel lures that are over 40 years old that were my Dads, I have bought some of the same ones over the years just picking them up at sales, my favorite thing is creek fishing and wading the lake not far from me. The double hook up was funny, seen two panfish before but not bass and panfish.

I have thought about setting up a 300 gallon aquarium and catching small bass and some pretty blue gill and watch them grow.

The bass I’ve seen in Turkey Creek are the same way, in that they don’t want my lure until the redbreast takes it, then they try to steal it from the redbreast.
1 of the first lures i ever used was mr twister sassy shads on jigheads and grubs in yelliw or white and the beetle spin
Spotting bass have a rough tooth patch in their mouth. easiest way to tell between them and a largemouth bass.

You never know what you will catch on little lures. I picked up a bunch of little crappie cranks on clearance and i have been surprised how many fish they have caught up to a 4.6 lb 21.5 inch spotted bass.

Those crickhoppers are amazing! im from Scotland and i moved to Texas to be with my wife and i tell you, theres nothing like catching 20 bluegill (a fish ive never seen before) as a first time US fisherman, man, ill take them in my tacklebox any day of the week

12 minutes in and I want to go fishing so bad! 😆 Nice Rock bass! I don’t think I’ve ever seen on so big! Was watching another of your videos where you caught some coosa bass. I thought it was just a rock bass and that’s just what you called them, but I looked it up anyway. Totally learned something that day, never heard of such a fish. Awesome video so far! And I’m glad you ID the fish in your videos and know what you’re talking about.

I'm also a huge fan of the rebel lures. Especially the crick hopper and crick popper. I have caught so many fish since I was a kid on rebel lures. cant go wrong with them.

Why such long videos?
it is a way to reuse old videos that i have made, plus longer videos have potential to earn a lot more money. People play them in the background and it just runs. Just a strategy to help myself be able to make more income, so i can go on more fishing trips
