2013 Ford Edge Limited heat not working/climate control system reset!

Had problems with no heat whatsoever, 2013 Ford edge limited. Replaced the blend door actuator which I had found in forums should fix it, but still had no heat. Tried several things, read up about the fix for pressing the climate power and defrost at the same time but had to figure out the correct procedure. Wanted to post this so if you’re having this problem, you know what to do!
