FIXED!! How to replace an outside hose faucet, when there is not enough pex pipe!
Common issue with homes that were installed with PEX waterlines, the outside faucets were not threaded so they had to be cut completely off and new ones installed with the male adapters, which facilitates new ones to be threaded on later without having to cut the pex joint.
I show you how to reclaim some of the pex pipe within the old crimped fitting by cutting the ring and splitting it off with a pair of pliers, making sure not to Nick the piping under the ring. Trim off about a quarter inch of the exposed PEX piping, so that the new fitting is partially onto new pipe.

Had been dealing with Ford power lift gate that will not close by itself, when you press the button it would start going down but then reverse and open back up. I tried the reset by removing the fuse for 20 seconds, but that would not fix it. We could get it to close by applying a little bit of pressure to help it as it was going down. Ended up massaging and cleaning the rubber pinch sensor o...

    Interesting. You just resurrected lithium from hibernation. I am curious though how did the 14volt incandescent bulb help when you placed it between the charger and dead cell? Did the bulb cause a voltage drop for the charger to be mislead? Very interesting indeed.

    • @doatsouth3224
      @doatsouth3224 День тому

      Well I tried plugging the charger directly in line to the batteries, but the light on the charger went from green to nothing. So obviously overloaded it momentarily when I tried it. Putting the bulb in line added resistance on the circuit, thus controlling the load on the charger.

    Mine I can hook the wires to the light and change the battery through its power out plug but it still won’t charge through the charging port any ideas?

    • @doatsouth3224
      @doatsouth3224 8 днів тому

      If you have a multimeter, hook it up through the charge port and see if you're getting voltage to the circuit board where the wires connect, it could be a bad circuit board 🤷🏼‍♂️

    I charged my ebike thats 36 v with a 67v charger for 30 min is it repairable i have the same problem as your did with the charger, and my charger turns green even without having it plugged to the wall, its like the battery is sending current out of the bike

    • @doatsouth3224
      @doatsouth3224 22 дні тому

      If the voltage in the cells have dropped below the threshold, the BPM or the battery management system (which is part of the battery) is probably not letting the battery charge, so it will show green light on the charger as if it was charged. The green light simply shows you that the charger no longer has a load on it. It turns red based on applying a load to the charger. That's why you want to actually test the charger with the bulbs to apply a load, so you can verify that it actually turns red and is outputting current.

    I’m experiencing a similar ish issues with my jetson bolt pro. the battery indicator light reads that it’s fully charged however the battery from the “back end” plug is only reading 24.8V. sometimes after turning on the bike the lights won’t even work and if they do the slightest twist of the throttle will cause the lights to fade out. were you experiencing the same with yours? Do you think this would solve my problem?

    • @doatsouth3224
      @doatsouth3224 Місяць тому

      If I remember correctly yes that's pretty much what it was doing. Your battery is probably discharged more than the battery management system will allow it to recharge. So yes you probably need to backfeed the battery just enough to bring the voltage above that level.

    Awesome video that answered my issue, believe it or not, what caused my blend doors to be out of sync was a dead battery my fault, but after recharging all I could get was cold air on drivers side and hot wire on passenger side. I went thru a lot of videos and BS before finding this, and this process works! Thanks😊

Went through all the trouble to replace blend door actuator on drivers side only for it still to be blowing hot at hell on driver's side. Was so pissed off after all that work for no results. Then came across this video! Wished I had tried this first may have fixed the problem without the replacement....
