I pretty much took off every screw, except for the side screws next to the roll. haha Thank you for this video. Saved me from making an embarrassing phone call to Dyson. :)
Thank you so much! My vacuum had stopped suctioning and there was a ton of hair wrapped around the bar. I was hoping that if I got that off it would work again. Thanks to your video, and a pair of scissors, lol it's back to functioning status! I really appreciate this!!!
What happens if I have hair wrapped around the black knobs that the brush bar fits on to? Its trapped highly around and I can't get it out. Is there anyway to take the black knobs? Thanks!
I have the same problem, if anyone has a solution to this, I would appreciate it. I have hair under the knobs, and although I can break the hair off, the hair won't completely come out.
Just cleaned the same after owning this Dyson for over 10 years - was a breeze to do thanks to your teardown. Very much appreciated. Thank you!

Hi, I don't believe they come off. I will email Dyson and see what they say. I would take a utility knife and cut the hair free.
