Shredder's not much of a guitarist. His metal claw things keep getting in the way.

l .basti. l I have owned both an original from 1965 and an Eastwood reissue. They are totally different animals. You can be quite gnarly with both but the two have in the end little more in common than the esthetics

I don't know why folks are always hatin on Jack! Give credit where credit is due. The boy can play and has got a lot of soul!!! If you listen to real old school blues music from the 1920s & 1930s, he's sings & plays with the same feelin and grittiness they did.
Jack has the guitar style of Jack White.
The first time I saw the commercial I went straight to UA-cam.....it was an epic moment when I discovered the White Stripes!!! Since then I have added them to my iTunes. Salute!!

He has pretty straightforward setup, nothing complicated, very few things in front of the amp and still it's so fucking dirty and heavy that some metal bands can seriously suck on! :-D

I had a live record of this song alon o3 format around 10 years ago. Can't find it today in anywhere. That was the best. And probably best thing Jack had ever done on stage

The White Stripes' live performances is what sold me on the band. Prior to hearing them live I wrote them off as a shallow band. What a dumb ass I was.

Even if Jack DIDN'T have good chops, he has WAY more than enough style. You can have all the technicality in the world, but it doesn't mean anything if you don't express it in a meaningful and original way. Luckily for Jack, he's got the style and the chops. And if you aren't seeing his talent, then I'm not sure what you're listening to.
